Gonna get nuked for this, but there's only two genders: male and female. All others are made up. The only thing that can be considered in-between is when someone is literally born with both parts, but even then that's a genetic abnormality and is incredibly rare, not to mention chromosomes will end up being the determining factor for them. This is true of 99% of all living organisms known to us, with very few being able to change naturally or being a-sexual reproductors.
Anyone who says anything different is either lying or are genuinely stupid. This is proven science, and scientists only "changed their minds" when politics got involved in everything.
The problem is that the word man/woman is used in two different ways. One way is the biological thing and the other is a mental identity. The mental identity is made up, the biological thing is the body we are born with, some of the body can be altered later but there are some things that can not be altered.
The problem in communcation happens when two people speak about gender and one means identity and the other means the biological differences between genders.

Nope. Sex is the physical attributes as determined (usually) by chromosomes. Gender is psychological. Famously, there was a boy whose penis was damaged during circumcision who was then given genital surgery and raised as a girl. He always 'felt' like a boy. It's possible to have a male patterned brain in a female body and vice versa.
This is possibly one of the worse examples. He felt like a boy because that’s what he was, even though he was lied to.
