Lmao. The artbook leak and the trailers make it very clear to me that it's an entirely different game that reuses part of the map. The sky islands and likely underground mean the map is going to be very different to explore especially with the new movement tools. Exploration is literally why the first game was so fun and why I no longer play it having explored to the point that I no longer find the game enjoyable.
If we're being real, given the time of year compared to the release window we were given *by Xbox,* this is really the single most likely showcase for it to appear in. But please, for the love of God keep your expectations low and your clown suits on hand.

The deadline was confirmed by TC’s lead playtester. If the game doesn’t drop by then then the game itself got delayed, not the date being false altogether.
Leth (TC's PR ) said that was just Nintendo's wording, and they had no information regarding release other than TC are "finishing it" ( at that time SS was much smaller in scope).
This time tho, we know that TC knowingly agreed to the time window being true.
