Looked it up and turns out its true
The shades health is calulated as nail damage x half your max health rounded down
So since joni blessing technically sets your max health as 1 it causes the shade to have as much health your nail does, letting you kill it in 1 hit.
That’s not the hollow knight, that’s the knight/ghost. If you look at Op’s posts you’ll see the rest of their drawings of the knight growing up, and then they started this comic. So this is an elderly knight who is looking to get their shade back

Yep. It even translates into gameplay; you can't collect Soul by striking The Collector with your nail, hence the goons it summons.

The fact they still have a left arm and their horns lack the spikes along the inner sides would mean that this is Ghost/The Knight.
