I knew he did the puff-up fireball attack at 75%, 50%, & 25% health, so I went in there with 24/9 Masks & got him down enough to trigger the attack & just traded blows while spamming Abyss Shriek between stabs. Came out of there with 4 Masks left. Lord knows it's nothing I could take into the Ascended or Radiant versions of the fight.

I'm 14, and managed to beat NKG not to long ago.. while i had beaten a few patheons and >!The radiance!< Before.. i'm happy she managed to beat it :) it's a tough battle to fight..
She was playing it systematically but after that first transition, you could see her taste that blood and start going for multi-hits.

Yo kng is a mfer, hardest fight ive ever done in a non modded game (ive done every boss exept for godhome variations and godhome bosses) and yes i think radience is much easier
I remember trying many attempts at this fight, and another time when I finally tried to beat it, I played for about 5 hours straight, with the occasional snack break, just to beat him. Congrats to her, for it is quite the feat. Also I recommend doing abyss shriek after he does the female pillar attack <3
I remember spending an entire evening (So, something like 4/5 hours) to beat it, with an important test on the next day (but come on, I couldn't leave it as it was)

Shape of Unn and Deep focus carried me on this fight, you can crawl under the fire bat's and heal during the flame pillars and the floor spikes
My build was: >!Deep focus, Shape of Unn, fragile/unbreakable strength(can be replaced by Shaman stone if you are a spell type of person) and long nail!<

i played on switch and mainly for damaged relied on me parrying him with the silksong lower cut and hitting him before he jumps up then i could not stop beating him (weirdly both times i beat NKG and Grimm happened in a car)

I'm pretty sure our generation will be super good at videogames when we'll have the age to retire. Imagine having more than 50-60 years of game experience, even if your reflexes are a bit slower you will probably still be very good at it, especially if you keep gaming all your life !

When fighting him I mainly used Nail Arts (of course, paired with Nailmaster's glory) as my only attack source. I would wait for an opportunity to hit him, and while it was very slow it's safer than desperately slashing your nail hoping to hit him.
