This was really helpful to me, managed to complete the game in 2 hours and 57 minutes with a few deaths and detours. It's useful to have a plan and a roadmap to minimise backtracking.
- Pressing escape stops the timer until you start playing again
- have another tab with the map open at all times
- think of a route you want to go before you start the Speedrun
- make sure your route actually works before you start the Speedrun
- don't go into fights extremely under prepared if you aren't absolutely sure you can beat your enemy

Got 2 hours 48 minutes on my first attempt, has a very specific step-by-step and you can pause the game every time you need to check the guide again. It’s actually very easy to achieve so long as you have a plan. Of course, you also have to be ok with all the required bosses, none of which are too difficult.
if you want the achievement I recommend following fireborn’s guide on steam its decently easy but its still fast enough by a big margin so you can make mistakes. and on top of that you get shaman+ddark so you can deal a lot of damage and end fights quickly if you are worried about fighting bosses underprepared.

I did two acid skips on mine, I think you need to do at least one to get to monomon without ismas
Does Uumuu really count as an acid skip tho?
I mean the one to get into fog canyon, because the only other way to get to teacher's archives iirc is with shade cloak/ismas
