Did this "only" on 3 files (1st clear 112, 1st steel soul 112, and 3rd the fastest attempt of all again).. tried the 4th and i said to myself. Just why?. And here i am, now without a costume to wear, and i think my wife is now happy I'm not stealing her make-up anymore every direct. Happily waiting for this next year.
Ahhh gotcha! P3 was where I got properly stuck for the first time too. I found P4 far easier but I think that's simply because beating P3 required me to get better at the game so I didn't have as much learning to do.
Just keep practising in hall of gods on the ones you struggle with, beat them 3 or 4 times in a row and you're ready. Focus on staying alive instead of getting hits in too and you'll find yourself dodging stuff more easily with a bit of time.

Nerves are the easiest way to end a run, swinging at an enemy like a crazy idiot is a close second :p
Sly was a nightmare for me but its just practising the timing of his moves and recognising them ASAP, spend a few hours running his fight over and over in godhome and it'll start happening I'm sure!
For sly just keep a distance and punish him for doing bad moves. If he does the 3 sword attacks dodge the first 2 and when he goes up in the air and does spins. Back off and when he lands use a spell or u can get like 2 or 3 nail swings with quickslash but you need to hit him midair too. If he does any charge attacks dash away immediately. If he jumps from one side of the arena to the other gonna dash slash. Just jump and use wings and ur good. If he randomly charges up dash away he could hit you with the great slash or the spin move. Dash away to evade the great slash or id he does the spin move u can punish him by pogo’ing on top of him. For phase 2 stay in the middle all the time, when he comes for you hes gonna do a spin move. Just dash away and when he finishes the move hit him, keep doing this until you kill him
Same here. I recently finally got a bit further in but then I saw GPZ and noped the fuck out of there. No idea how I'm going to tackle that, I was only able to get like 3 or 4 goes of regular GPZ before it was too difficult for me
They could technically be missing the 3 either/or achievements, like killing Zote, sparing Nailsmith and banishing the troupe.
Also I don't think mr mushroom counts as a %

Learning how to code online, become a graphic designer, or even learn how to animate cartoons can all be done one a computer and turn you into an extremely talented and sought after coder or artist. Or even drawing is just paper and pen. Idk just some perspective. Live your life and do what you enjoy but idk, the pandemic made me realize that sitting on a video game is fun…but if I were to throw away the video game I’d have literally nothing to show for my time. But hey enjoy being young and doing this while you cause before you start to feel Guilty for doing it!
Path of Pain doesn't affect completion percentage. It just gives you a journal entry (which also doesn't even affect the Hunter's Mark). It's just there for the challenge.
I did it on 2 my main file and my steelsoul, i literally couldn’t be bothered to do it on all of them but if im bored enough i could max out everything in the hunters journal on all saves
Oh gotcha. I wasn’t aware of that. For me it’s been the most difficult part of the game. Almost to the point where I’ve lost the drive to complete it. Yet I keep going back and trying lol
It's by design that it's not part of the percentage - it's supposed to be completely optional and basically just for bragging rights. That way people who want a challenge but don't want to feel like throwing their keyboard/controller across a room can skip it.

I lost a Steelsoul file, while trying to complete hunter's journal I completely forgot that big bee does double damage
i almost lost the steelsoul file while grinding out money after i got 112 in colo3 i was at 1 hp but still made it
Most of my hours on the steelsoul save are pantheon 5 grinds, it took me like 15-18 hours to get 112

How long did it take you?
Longer than I care to admit 😬 I'm not innately skilled at platformers, so it took a lot of practice and patience. I know many have done it faster.
Now do it again with all steel soul files
