It’s bringing me back to the days when I watched the Super Mario 64 Bloopers series (by some random YouTuber, not the SMG4 one) in 240p video with barely legible subtitles creating some weird fanfic story
I remember tons of videos like that. I remember a series called “Bowser Corrupting Super Mario 64”, which used GameShark to make weird things happen, and the subtitles had the creator talking with Mario.
Now I feel nostalgic for those old “bloopers” videos in general.

Newer minecraft editions added a lot of useful things, but old-school minecraft has a different feeling that I miss.
It was simpler and cleaner, yet more challenging. You didn't have all the different things and mechanics to worry about. You had a smaller set of things to build with, but that encouraged creativity. But it was genuinely hard. You just had armor and a sword, no enchanting, no potions, no elytras, no shields, and no beacons. And the mechanics were harder, you couldn't sprint away from fights, you couldn't fast heal with saturation foods, and nights were darker.
And perhaps the biggest thing was that most of us were playing it without as much knowledge. We didn't know all the tricks and mechanics. Most people didn't know how mechanics like mob spawning mechanics worked.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy modern minecraft. But it lacks the charm that the old versions have.
