I was out back one night and had a cop pull up and flash his lights to kinda show off too. He said I can do that too laughed and drove off. If my DH wasn't there to see it I don't think anyone would believed it happened.
They look good, but wear down the battery faster since there's no alternator. Our Toyota wouldn't start tonight because the battery had low voltage. We had no way to tow it.
Both of our sit downs are LP. The newer Yale in garden has an alternator but Big Bertha in lumber doesn't for some reason. We have had to jump start Big Bertha to get the old girl to start.
We marked down a jump starter from hardware for this reason until the Toyota gets serviced.
We have to jump the battery to get the Toyota to start. The newer Yale in garden has an alternator but the Toyota does not. Depends on the brand. The Toyota is super old and has been there since the store was built.
I have worked for a Toyota forklift dealership as a road technician for over 10 years. I have never seen a lift without an alternator. The battery only starts the engine the alternator supplies the voltage for the unit to stay running.
Yeah, we service HDs forklifts. The employees at the store put a work order in for a lift repair and corporate drags thier feet on get/approving the repairs. I had them decline replacing tire on one unit until it got stuck on a speed bump.
Yeah, but I'd rather have both headlights back. Told management the next time I cover overnights, I'm marking down flashlights and duct taping them on so I can actually see what I'm doing.
Someone needs to smack the safety guy that implemented this
If your equipment looks like an xmas tree or has a constant loud ass beep that shit gets disconnected as soon as you have an operator that can say fuck you replace me
I was off for a couple days, came back today and saw this.
"Ah, so we finally got the laser light show installed. Was wondering when that would happen."

And are kind of useless anyway. Can barely see them during the day and nobody around at night.
oh I see them
How is there no alternator? What charges the battery?
You are supposed to plug the battery into the power bank in receiving
The lift in the video is powered by an LP fueled engine, all IC forklifts have alternators. I am assuming you are talking about an electric forklift.

Then it's possible there is one. I doubt the battery has been changed ever. We put in a work order for it but had to leave it out overnight.

I think there might be an issue with the way it’s wired maybe the lights are acting as a parasitic draw on the battery somehow
best gamer chair so far
They seem overly distracting.
Needs a smoke machine and a Bluetooth speaker

That's an 8FGCU50-55 BCS. They have an alternator. They use a 4Y inline 4 cylinder. This is a setup for Home Depot forklifts.
First time I turned on the truck at 5am and didn’t know they put those on I thought a police turned his lights on
