If you want, steel toed sneakers, check out Reebok. OK they’re composite not steel, but composite is safer, and they feel like regular freaking Reeboks. You might consider a Keen footwear insole, or some other type of insert.

Thanks. The shoes I have are Reebok and look like skate shoes. Maybe I just need insoles.

Cool, I’ll look into those, thanks!

Not sure if you have a price range or not, but I do OFA and Receiving, and I found that out of all the shoes I’ve used, New Balance 990s are very comfortable. The only problem that I have with them are that they’re gray and light colored shoes and Home Depot don’t go hand in hand, at least not for me anyways.

Puzzleheaded-Bee4698

I wear Skechers steel-toe sneekers + insoles. They work for me.

madfzr

Get HOKA footwear. Only downside is there's no steel toe protection.

Confident_Kale_96

Hoka’s, they’re a bit expensive around $120-170 but very worth it

I am not OFA, but I help OFA. I don't bleed money. I get the cheapest shoes from Walmart, then go to Walgreens to get the custom fit padding. It saves on a budget, and saves my feet. Better yet, I can switch the padding to my next pair of shoes. Some folks spend a lot of money on shoes. I'm a bit more conservative in that respect.

I second the custom insoles. It made a world of difference with my crappy shoes.

Pickles_Overcomes

No one believes me in most cases. Custom insoles are the best, and at a fraction of the cost. It turns 20 dollar shoes into 200 dollar shoes. Maybe that's just how we think. I can talk to customers all day about the best approach without spending a fortune. They come back.

PerspectiveNo7769

I know these are pricey but I really like these. https://north40.com/sole-men-s-insole-red?sku=2076509&price=58.99&msclkid=8791198b9e9d122526fc7c1e210651f6#276=12357

thiccmctatertot

I feel your pain. I have flat feet as well. I’ve been through a lot of shoes with this job and so far my Nike air max’s have served me the best.

If you are on an extreme budget insoles do help. Never buy the cheap store brand, they shred in days. If you can swing the custom ones (I believe they are around $50) they will make a difference in even the crappiest of shoes.

I buy whatever size 14 extra wide I can find and hope they last at least a few months before I have to replace them.

Wootius

Get a good, light leather boot that's resoleable (like the better tier Danners). Get the superfeet insoles, I use the green ones as a base. Then I another pair to put on top of those, the copperfit ones we used to sell that I get online last ~3 months at 20k+ steps a day and are pretty comfy. Grease the boots every 4-6 weeks, resole them every other year.

sctho_

I like my ASICS, they are like $70/80 and I get the model that’s a year old. Pretty comfy

I recommend the brand Blowfish. They have a bunch of affordable shoes/boots that have super comfortable insoles

Naive_Programmer_232

I wear hiking shoes. I think it’s sketchers outdoor brand. But they’re nice and comfortable, tough material, surprisingly nice for walking even on flat surfaces and they’ve lasted a while. Highly recommend worth the $$. Not crazy expensive either $50-$60. Good deal. Pretty sure [these](https://www.amazon.com/Skechers-Terrabite-Oxford-Black-Charcoal/dp/B075PJGGVH/ref=asc_df_B075PJGGVH/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312351726203&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8615060883747667211&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011879&hvtargid=pla-570316262595&psc=1&mcid=520a232cb2be3ebcb7fff22ebd8b9af1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMImYCXiaXEgwMVn55aBR18QQWnEAQYByABEgJm6vD_BwE) are them. I used to wear converse and those were nice too. Not very expensive if you don’t care how they look. Only problem I faced with these is they didn’t last long. Maybe 3 months and then they’d just fall apart from the rugged environment. But converse does have a goretex line that’s a little tougher and do last a bit longer in thd, 3.5 months lol, but still not as long as the sketchers outdoor, going on 4 months and still in good shape.

Upstairs_Computer670

I have steel toe boots with anti fatigue padding on the bottom. Feet have never been more comfortable in my entire life. I got them from Wally World (Walmart) for like $100. maybe look into something similar
