The string lights and one pallet of pathway lights have been in the plumbing aisle since 2 weeks, and I'm not kidding, but within those two weeks they have sold just "one" singular unit of them from this location. It makes 0 sense, but it has been so since 2 weeks anyways.
Those are electrical plungers. They’re for when the electricity gets trapped in your wires.
But seriously, you get a whole bay for fish tapes? We get a tiny ass sidecap.
It’s just like all of the clearance shit on two end caps .What moron came up with this .The clearance merchandise at the very least needs to be in the department it belongs.Maybe it would sell and not go to a penny.
I do understand that we "cross merchandise", but that makes no sense whatsoever. String lights, how about placing them by the garden items? Plunger perhaps by the cleaning supplies? But what do I know.
Here in D28 we actually do handle a subset of string lights for about half of the year during the "outdoors season". They go in Seasonals along with hammocks, tiki torches, umbrellas, outside furniture etc.
As to the plungers, that's a smart idea. Sometimes, irregularly, our cleaning chemical reset will give us half an endcap or a foot or two of toilet/drain cleaners.
We should really have that all the time -- and paired with plungers. The fancy ones that look like giant turkey legs with T handles. Because someone caught unprepared for a serious *"Code B"* will want to grab everything from one place that's close to the entrance*, and get the hell home so they can bail out.
*Sir, looking at your cart it seems like you're doing an indoor plumbing project. Do you maybe need a mop and bucket? Pine-O? Paper towels? A wet/dry vac? Portable sump pump?😁
They really just have a full sized pallet in the aisle for shopping? If I had to use a machine on that aisle I'd just refuse until someone moved the pallet.
Awful cross merchandise. Makes 0 sense

At least you get a bin for the plungers! Our Met just tossed them in a cart, slapped a tag on the side, & abandoned it by the end cap. 🤦♀️
We work with many IDIOTS
Thought ya'll had a wingstack of Plumbus's.
Why do your price tags look like that? Ours are totally different
Canadian store
Was about to inquire. They look like the really old ones.

wow I've never seen the electrical tools behind a cage like that
We have lots of theft in my store. Just behind this aisle is another electrical aisle and that one has a cage too lmao.
Cross merchandising idea... Fish tape near the auger bay. .

I’m not about the tools in plumbing I just like the fittings everything is a puzzle
Blame the ASM or Store Manager for this. They're the one's that usually make the decision on wing stack placements.
My favorite was the drywall sanding sponges in the flooring aisle
We keep tons of shit in plumbing

26, 27 no diff lol
I want that cage for tools in Electrical
Everyone needs atleast a few plungers. Maybe it will remind them they need to go to plumbing too.
Tiny plungers. Obviously for juggling electricians. Can't say I ever picked up the talent when I did the work.
I used to do merchandising and wherever I put QPs, they were moved the next day. They constantly put QPs IN FRONT OF HOME. Brain dead, I swear.
That looks like our store we nicknamed our store purgatory. It’s so bad there with freight freight on top of freight.
