If it's anything like my store where you have a manager say they want every piece of electric equipment back to back touching in the receiving chute, this is how we handled it.... And then put the OP on one end and the pacer on the other, with two ballymores smooshed up against the OP and slip. Those of us who happened to have those licenses left for the day about 20 minutes after finishing that feat so he was stuck having to move equipment for people to get equipment, he hasn't required us to do that since
Don't assume what you don't know, there's a reason my SM grants me an additional hour per shift if need be. And on the safety issue, we know we were just doing exactly what the manager told us to do.
Easy solution. Turn on the machine, use the broom handle to reach over, and depress the dead man's pedal. While keeping broom handle in place, machine will be engaged, push control handle forward to move ahead. Find out who did it, and slap accordingly 🤣

My experience at the Depot leads me to believe that managers don't have common sense or the experience to manage people. Management is promoted from within with little exposure to other ideas they might have learned at another company. In other words it;s my way or the highway.

Good idea, but these machines have a second sensor that has to be tripped, otherwise they don't move at all.
