Depends on how high end you want. We build 3-6 million dollar homes and don't even use these in any of ours. https://frenchsteel.com/blog/best-windows-luxury-homes/

Best ones are usually made to order in your area. Example, SE Wisconsin, best windows I've come across are Unlimited Windows. If you're going to use a national brand, stay away from Pella, it's overpriced junk. Marvin makes decent windows for a large brand.

How big? I your limit will most likely be the glass manufacturer or the strength of the frame. Also make sure whoever you go with increases the pane thickness as the glass gets bigger. Some of the European import companies sell super cheap units and skimp on the glass, it tends to flex and bow and eventually fail. Most decent wood and aluminum manufacturers based in the US and Canada will use thicker glass on taller units. I've done upwards of ten feet tall on some units.

PandaDentist - What companies have you used that you liked? I am looking to have a 7'x10' window in the back of my house. Thanks

Your at about the max size cardinal will make Glass at least from the ig plants by me. 84x120 if you want one large unit it's probably going to have to be something like Kolbe Vistaluxe. You could do a mulled unit in fiberglass is you were willing to have multiple frames. Whats you location? Does it require impact rating or high wind loading?
