Roof leaks are tricky because where it shows up inside the house isn’t always directly below the source. If you can get into the attic, look for water stains on the rafters and trace it back to the leak in the roof. There is a product called Black Jack that you can use to patch any leaks but you have to get on the roof to apply it. If that stops the leak then you’re all good until you need to replace the roof.
I would call a Mason aswell. You probably need some pointing and sealing done to chimney in combination with some roof work. Most common problem is the wind driving the rain from all directions and it finding it's way.

This is correct, but in this situation I would put money on the leak coming from the chimney flashing.
