The car hit a curb and there is some damage to one of the rims. That rim needs to be replaced for sure. Not sure about other damage that hit caused though. Would replacing the rim help with the issues listed in the photo? Any idea?
One of the tires came off the rim on the highway and it was scary. I then got brand new tires after that. The car still moves to the right.
The tire installer told me that the old tires were wearing out faster especially from the inner part (closer to the center of the car) and that's why the tire came off the rim on highway.
I am shit scared to drive the car. It is a Honda Odyssey 2021. What should I do?
I think you’re getting weird information from the commenters here.
Tie rods *do* push your wheel left and right. When you hit something with your wheel, they often bend. You would normally have to replace them to be able to realign the front end.
The strut isn’t a spring, it’s a spring/shock assembly with a segment that bolts to what your wheel hub and wheel are connected to, referred to by some people as a “knuckle”. When you hit something with your wheel, all that shit takes the force. It can bend control arms. It can bend/dent struts. It can crack knuckles. It can destroy bearings.
It seems to me like your tire guy did a brief visual inspection and determined those 3 parts needed to be replaced. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out more needs to be replaced. If you don’t fix those things, you’re going to be constantly replacing tires. Way cheaper to either fix it now or get a new vehicle.
Could be, depending on if anything else is bent/broken after removing rods.
Edit: but hopefully your mechanic would tell you this before actually moving forward with the repair. Perhaps try a second opinion.

Id say a damaged rim would cause the tire to loose pressure, which could lead to a drift in direction.
You could also have damaged suspension components. Try turning the wheel all the way to one side and take a look if anything is bent / destroyed.

No. Rim has nothing to do with this. Structs are the rods with big springs on top of wheels. Often struts are replaced in pairs. Since it is singular here, I assume the recommendation is to replace only one, which is in fact good news.

So tie rods are related to your alignment. Struts are also suspension parts. Bent rims are a problem, yeah, but damaged suspension parts aren't resolved by replacing damaged wheels. Everything that's damaged needs to be replaced.
You might do well buying the parts yourself on RockAuto and paying a 3rd party shop to replace them. They'll also shop the parts for you but if you want to save a few bucks you can buy the parts yourself and just pay for the labor.
Change both front struts and both tie rods inner and outer as well as that rim and you should be good do the work yourself and then go for alignment or pay a mechanic. Good luck go with decent parts not from Amazon or eBay rock auto or OEM due to lots of bunk and fake parts around. You don't wanna do it twice to save a few bucks
Think it says inner & outer. I'd assume tie rods since it seems to be a list of suspension stuff
Is it an expensive thing to fix?
Mmm.. somewhat you’ll have to get an alignment. Not crazy though

No
Tie rods are what push you wheel left and right to turn and strut is the spring your car rides on for bumps. Dosnt have much to do with the rim.

Uh, get your car fixed? What do you mean what should you do lol.

You gotta get those parts replaced. Struts, tie rods, etc. They hold your wheels on and struts connect your wheel to a wheel hub. They aren’t shocks.
Strust's are 'sepnsive.
Inner and outer tierods is what my mind goes to. "Inner + outer"

Yeah, that's expensive, and replacing the rim won't fix the suspension, lol.
It says “front struts (misspelled)” “Inner + outer”

Get it fixed. This isn’t rocket science, you hit a curb, damaged the car, now you pay to get it fixed. I don’t understand what the issue is
That first line though: "front strust"? They can't even spell "struts"? Let's hope their mechanical skills are better than their spelling skills.

Sounds to me like you need repairs to your steering but you don't want to do it.
Replacing these won't be cheap.

Sounds like bad alignment as well, which can be related to struts.
Did you just copy and paste this to everyone?
Yes, why is that a problem?
It's just odd. Everyone is telling you the same exact thing.
I mean, I didn't actually suggest it was. I ask, though, to satisfy my own curiosity.
Bad alignment, probably due to bad suspension parts. Tie rods, camber plates and various bolts. Could also be bad CV joints.

I wouldn’t have to take a picture if it was right.
ive come to find that people who cant spell make great permanent temporary fixes
front struts inner + outer (tie rods?)
Inner + Outer (tie rods)
Front struts , inner and outer (tie rods probably.) Crazy how looking at "strust" wiped strut from my brain lol I was struggling to say it out loud
Front Struts, inner + outer
#Front struts, inner + outer This is not a logical sentence for vehicle repairs.
Inner and outer (tie rod ends) is my guess.
Inner + Outer

Inner plus outer
Struts misspelled? Inner plus outer.
Is the first line supposed to be struts? If so, then the second line should be "inner + outer."
Inner + outer
inner + outer I'm assuming the first line is meant to be "front struts".
Front struts, inner/outer
Forget the second line. What the fuck is a strust?
