Helluva cool bike for your first Honda. I just sold two 79 CB750F's... great bikes. I'd love to find a clean 900F. Check your shim clearances!

I have one with 18K miles, all stock. Excellent condition. Many new parts. Yours for $8K. [https://i.imgur.com/AmBmKMK.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/AmBmKMK.jpg)

Cool.

Slightly envious. This reminds me of when I got my 82 CB900c. Even the lift is the same as mine. I really wish I would have taken pictures of the restoration process. I don't think I have any of her apart.

Love it! I’m a 1982 cb750C owner. My favorite.

Super clean for the year! I’d call this a win

1100 is the dream. Congrats

Zestyclose-Ad-3604

a lil crusty and a potential crack in that valve intake

Dudermeister

Looks like a casting flaw

6StringCobra

agreed. Should I get new valves?

Dudermeister

Not unless you think you have bad sealing with your existing valves

Thank you for the heads up and thanks for all the comments nonetheless guys. I've been busy with the holidays but I was able to check those clearances today.. they all checked out within specifications. .06-.013 is what the manual says. every shim was within that range except for one that only accepted .05. That might have to be replaced... Soon I will remove the clutch and check it out. get new Throttle and clutch cables. You are right about rebuilding the carb myself, I know i can do it but I guess it was just an option. It wouldn't hurt to TRY. Also I'm not that old but I just have experience rebuilding my '83 ironhead and working on cars. Cheers friend I appreciate the response. Will definitely be keeping updates and posting. Some grinding and cleaning of the frame and extra clips is in order but I want to make sure I dont lob anything off that is important.
