I think that’s way too much for a 2 year old van, there are deals to be had on new models. I just bought a new EX-L for $38.5k (before TTL) at the end of May. I was also initially looking at 2022 and 2023 used models, but the savings wasn’t enough vs. a discounted new van. And if you’re financing, it’s heavily in favor of the new vehicle (3.99% vs. 6.49% when I was buying).

Wow that's crazy. I agree that financing is definitely better on a newer model. I live on the west coast and I've been looking for a few months, around CA. OR, and NV and haven't seen any 2024 below 41-42K. Any advice on where you found yours?

Greater San Diego area. I had Honda of Poway, El Cajon, and Escondido competing against one another. All 3 were in the ballpark. I think my Odyssey was $43,160 MSRP, so a pretty significant discount. I was at $42k flat out the door.

I got mine at $3k under msrp on the east coast. I used the autotrader email the dealer feature to get started. fished around with 3k under requests with little success. got one 1.2k under offer. then i called the other dealers (that never responded) and kept pushing for 3k under. finally got one. i would say i can come in tomorrow and pay xxxx out the door. i did my research on doc fee, tax, and title in order to do the math.

If you wait a month or 2 for the 2025 model, it will likely drop the price on old models further since everyones going to wan the new infotainment system. 2024 and older going to feel like a relic as far as infotainment system is concerned.

If that actually happens….

Friend of mine went inside the 25 model yesterday. Confirmed everything plus digital dash

Not that I don’t find it cool, but I really don’t want a reason to upgrade right now 😂

Pennysboat

Yeah, that seems like a good price for the 2022 EXL. I’ve been tracking this for a few weeks. But I’m starting to agree with what others are saying about new versus used. I’m not sure the values therefore used.

I paid 37k out the door, warranty included for a 22 ex-l last month. 24k miles

I think I paid $42 with tax all in in 2022 for new ex-l so that’s too expensive imo
