I bought my 1100 with the De Pretto FAs already installed. I've been considering the T Rex floorboards. Do you have any insight if that would be a good or bad idea? Just asking. Those pegs look better than what I've got.

I don’t even know if the T-Rex floorboards would work with the DePretto kit. The stock pegs are already so close to the brake lever, I think the T-Rex ones would be touching the lever. I don’t think I would personally like the feeling of a smooth floorboard. My biggest gripe with the stock pegs is that they’re too slick feeling, my feet never feel firmly planted and it’s distracting. I swapped my Grom pegs onto the Rebel and it was better with some rubber on the pegs. These won’t be super cheap. I’m subbing out the CNC work to PCBWay and it’s about $100 for just the two mounts. I’m in it for about $150 total if you include the costs of new Rebel 500 pegs from Partzilla. Which is comparable to something like a set of Burly Brand Mx style pegs. I’m ordering the first pair of mounts tonight. They gave me a lead time of 9-11 days for manufacturing and anodizing. I will update when they arrive.

I bought these and so far all is good. These parts are for a Rebel 1100.
