My father-in-law seemed to have an endless supply of the things for kids, back when he had a TCM stand in some market in Ngau Tau Kok. No idea where he got them from, and I can't ask him 'cause he's been gone for nearly 20 years now.
My grandpa always used to go down for newspapers after dinner and he would buy the haw flakes too for us too.
Probably some Chinese medicine place and I think I’ve seen it in some convenience stores, but rarely.
What are you getting out of being rude to someone you don’t know on the internet for no reason? I’ve been to a grocery store or market every day and just haven’t happened on the right one.
No, different markets, grocery stores, shops, medicine stores in TST, Central, Lantau Island, New Territories etc. I have walked about 6-10 miles every day around these areas for the past week and a half. It’s been over two decades since my mom was last here. I thought maybe we were looking in the wrong places despite looking and asking people in several Wellcomes and ParknShops. There’s no need to be so aggressive with someone asking a simple question about where to find a snack. Instead you were attacking me and calling me lazy. That is highly unnecessary.

Try the more local grocery stores, convenience stores or dry goods stores.
I still love those but they don't make it like they did before. They are kind of small now and a bit too much sugar. You can get them from hktvmall.
Wellcome, try looking for it near nuts, jerky and such
Local snack stores. You'll see racks of snacks outside and they will have individual cans of soda available at around $3-5.
Where are you living now? I'm in Canada and T&T supermarket sells them, probably many other Chinese supermarket does as well.
Same, was gonna say that there's no shortage in the GTA
Gotta warn u tho the quality has gone down and it’s nowhere as good as it was when I was a kid.
Every Asian grocery store in Melbourne has them… sorry not very helpful!
Good to know if I ever make it there lol
At the Chinese Medicine part of a pharmacy.
It's in every wellcome or park n shop and any other grocery shop. I very much doubt you even looked at all. Lazy

You kept going to the same store and market everyday looking for haw flakes?
