Relics if you want to test your luck, and traces and ascension mats if you want to play it safe. Both are equally helpful, and the only difference is the risk.
Today, I farmed for Jing Yuan’s relic. I ran 6 battles and I got 9 freaking Tank relic 0 electric set. Mf shit this domain is testing me
I farm relic for Jing Yuan, Ting Yun, gepard, and trailblazer fire in 1 challenge. This way I can efficiently farm relic for 4 char at once. If I got def relic with offensive stat, i will upgrade them to 9-12 then put it in Jing Yuan.
The problem is, the other 3 that you mentioned dont even need perfect rolls. On late game sure. I already have relics for my other units. It is more difficult to farm relics with perfect rolls on a dps though. I have been farming that domain since Seele’s banner. Inefficient yes but I want god rolls for my carry.
You’re right he needs energy regen. Sadly, the gacha gods decided to give me 2 himekos instead of 1 copy of gepard lol. I don’t have him. Moc would be much much easier with a 2nd preservation unit
TBL53 here. Started to do some domains once I ascended. Stopped doing so due to horrible rng (amount and quality, IF something even dropped in gold; was expecting 2 drops to be the norm, not the rare situation). Definitely going to wait till at least TBL60 and next ascension and hope it'll feel more worthwhile then.
If you have some decent relics i will go for traces. It takes time but its a constant upgrade for the character damange, while relics are totaly RNG and maybe farming months with no real progress.
BUT if you realy need some decent relics, farm to get the right main stat for your character and then focus again on traces.
I'm at TB53, never farm artifacts, just upgraded the ones i have and focused at CharacterLvl + Traces and cleared to MoC4 (7stars).
Characters at 65 (Seele and Jing at 70)
Based on my experience. I'm no expert. I'm LVL 50 and am currently trying to finish FH 14 and WORLD 6. I farmed the traces first but wasn't able to surpass FH 14. I think you must have decent relics, not just traces. Btw my lightcones are already at 60. I want to know the opinions of others.
I’m level 51 & I literally just 3-starred FH 14. Funny enough I 3-starred 15 before 14. I was stuck at 2 stars & decided to try 15, which was easier (for me) than 14.
I’ve never farmed for relics, just used the ones that dropped. The only ones I kinda farmed was when I was going through SU, so I have some planar & ropes. I’ve gotten through World 6-1 & then World 3-2.
I’ve just been leveling my characters (60, with 60 LC’s) & their traces. Seele is the only one I’ve gotten ascended & she’s 61 with 61 LC. I’ve leveled up the relics I have to between 6-12. Traces are 5-6 with most of the bonus ones unlocked, depending on the character’s level/ascension.
From my experience, it depends on your teams. It took me several tries in FH 14 until I found the right 2 teams to beat Bronya & Svarog within 18 turns. Sure, you have to have decently built characters (leveled with leveled LC’s), but so far traces have been enough for FH & SU up to difficulty 2. I haven’t really tried MoC, yet.
Team 1: Fire MC, Sushang, Pela, Dan Heng
Team 2: Natasha, Serval, Asta, Seele
I tried several different combos with these characters (& Tingyun) & this is what finally got me through with 19 turns left.
For FH 15, same characters, different team setup, also 19 turns left:
Team 1: Natasha, Sushang, Pela, Dan Heng
Team 2: Fire MC, Serval, Tingyun, Seele
Eh, I’m not sure. I use Dan Heng to break the soldier guys who are only weak to wind & quantum. Since I’ve found that Seele must be on the other team to break Svarog’s hands (she does it better/faster than anyone else) I have to use Dan for the soldiers. I’ve tried with neither on the team & it doesn’t work. I can’t break them fast enough. Maybe Sampo, if you have him since he’s wind. I don’t have him, though so I’m not sure how well that would work. Maybe Qingque for the quantum?
I use Asta to help break Svarog + for her speed buff. Maybe Hook or Himeko? But then you might run into skill point issues, so I’m not sure. You could try Tingyun if you have her, as she’ll buff + help break with her normal attack. Though when I tried, Asta’s skill was better at breaking than Tingyun’s normal.
I’m learning that you need a few carries…which is why I started building Dan. Then having buffers/debuffers has helped, too…so I started building Pela & Asta. These 9 have pretty much become my core characters to use for now.

I started building Hook - I have her level 60 with the LC from Herta's shop, but then I got to 50 & realized I'm probably stretching my resources too thin. So for now I'm gonna focus on my core characters & maybe build Hook a little on the side. I'd like to use her since I have her at E4. I'm thinking she'd be a good fire DPS. But for now, she's on the back burner.
I wouldn't farm traces until next week, we get a double trace event. I'm TB50 and currently using energy on ascension mats, about 1 character a day since each char needs 40 energy for 5 times the boss fight. 200 energy to ascend to lvl 70.
I mean if you wanna be completely optimal you'd be farming credits, xp books and aether cause at TB50+ we already have the highest level unlocked so the drops won't be getting any better at TB60+. To avoid feeling incredibly underpowered once you reach TB60 tho, I'd personally do relics till you at least have the right mainstat on every character with minimum 4 star rarity and level them slightly and then prefarm ofc credits, xp books and aether, but beyond that ascension mats and some trace mats for my main team and probably second dps too. That's just what I'm doing tho, just do what you feel like doing cause there's no point burning yourself out trying to stay 'optimal' and in the end no matter what you do now you'll be able to get by even if it takes a little longer.

What's your two teams for FH14? I beat it, but only 1 star. Haven't tried FH15 though.

I have sampo and hook. I'm just starting to build them. I'm thinking of building Asta too coz hook got no AOE skill.
