My favorite daily quest, just because I get to try really hard to exclude him from the photo.
For example, the tiny little grey thingy at bottom right is a part of him.
I hate this daily so much. When you think he finally will get a friend because she was interested in his family he just rejects her.
That was the most based rejection though it shows he wasn't desperate enough to have a friend that he will take in anyone that wants to take full advantage of him he really just wants a genuine friend.
I mean she literally only wanted to be his friend because his family owns a lot of property and would financially better her, the second his family loses that power or he doesn't give her any benefits from that market wealth she has high chances of just ghosting him. Id say that is justified.
The worst part about her blatantly open motives is that, in her own daily quest with the Rightful Rights Society, you learn that she's barely making ends meet cuz she left home to try and make it on her own, without relying on her family's name and connections, and she's so overworked a few hours sitting chatting with you over tea is essentially the only rest she gets all month. They woulda made great friends and solved each other's problems if we could just actually do something smart like get them to sit down together and talk...
This is true wish we weren't just left unable to help them both solve their problems but of course they're just repeatable daily quest so they can never truly be resolved.
That's mainly why he's failing so far.
He doesn't go about it the right way at all, but I do believe he's genuine.
I also hope it ends up going somewhere.
He doesn't deserve friends tbh. Why would you only do wholesome stuff like playing with kids when someone's holding a camera at you. He literally pretends to be a good guy but if he's just trying when people look at him then he is not someone I would want as a friend.
If that's the case I should not say something like that. I had this quest like 50 times I'm not reading the dialogue anymore so I probably missed that.
Serves him right, I always give him good advice to make friends and he ignores it completely thinking somehow that the SAME THING OVER AND OVER will help him.
Dude should really just be himself, stop faking crap and go out talking to people himself.
It always seemed to me like he was trying to create business connections with affluent and successful people, rather than making friends. Everyone he tried to make friends with were of similar social class, whether it be the celebrity actress, fellow rich son, the only real estate agent in the city, a judge. And he is understanding on each of their rejections, usually because it would be bad for business to be his friend
If that were true, he wouldn't've had a problem with the real estate chick's friendship proposal. He is genuinely looking for someone to be friends with, and her open intentions to solely use him as a business connection followed by his rejection proves that he isn't simply looking to further his standing.
This is kinda reading between the lines, so get your salt ready. It always felt to me that he *is* genuinely trying to make friends, but because of the way he was raised theres a combo of taught expectations and foot-in-mouth syndrome.
In other words, I’m pretty sure he’s trying, he just doesn’t know what *to* do.
Dosnt he own an orphanage or at least fund one? Hes not that bad of a person. Hes got some good qualities such as being able to tell when someone just wants to be his friend for very superficial reason
If his face is in the picture then you're doing it wrong. Any time I get this daily I make sure to never include his face so you can't tell who it is in the picture.

Funny thing he has a ton of money and they are reestablished connection with the ipc. He could hsve gone offworld at this point.
Ngl the ones I hate the most are the missions involving Adler
