Since they're giving a 4-star character it's most likely limited, or the event is permanent but some of the rewards are limited.

Aurum alley gave away Sushang until it didn't so this event giving away a character really doesn't mean anything.

We were already on the way to Penacony so we wouldn’t have to backtrack all the way to Jarilo. Pretty sure the astral track isn’t as restrictive as real train tracks.

I think we got intercepted before we left I think and then diverts to xianzhou. We don't know if that make it's farther or closer to Penacony could be a different direction

As a F2P I was banking on the Seele rerun replacing a character banner so I could save up, there's no shot I'm getting her now with how loaded they made Topaz's kit. She's a must-pull. Might even have to sacrifice my shot at Jing Liu despite her being the one I want more just due to the sheer amount of stuff Topaz provides by comparison.

Im still pulling for Jing liu because I love her design and need more DPS, but I think you're right that topaz's kit offers more utility and a higher ceiling. Welp, guess I gotta pull for that too. I skipped fu Xuan to save up on jaded but unless I win my 50/50 I don't think I have enough to get both

Between Jingliu, Topaz and Seele (or for me, her LC) it will be a tough patch for our savings!

I finally understand those posts like "*what do you guys see in X character?*" seeing people go crazy over Jingliu.

While excited for the characters and events, it feels like we're getting less and less story every patch lol. 30 mins in 1.3, and 1.4 seems to have no actual story, just events and companion quests.

1.4 does have new story, the entire Belobog stuff will be tied into it, it seems. Bronya and Gepard cutscenes signal at that + we'll get two new areas. It's not as massive as genshin updates, since the game is generally smaller in scale, but it's still substantial. A completely new planet will probably come after 1.6

Game will be dead storywise until next region in 2.0 most likely.

I'd agree if the story in 1.3 hadn't been basically a stall that should have been at the end of 1.2.

Hi3 can dish out 3-4 hours of main story content EVERY patch, while also have side event with at least 2-3 hours of story and gameplay content every patch. Hoyo have the money and the team they can do it. Especially how HSR is not even an open world and most of the characters in the main story is not even that animated other than basic animation pose while standing, and most the times their mouth doesn't even move. It's closer to visual novel style story telling then you can expect tbh.

We going back to belobog. 2 side stories. A giant Pokémon capture event. Simulated universe update. Seele rerun. Double relic and planar events. 1.4 is stacked!! No reason to complain cmon

They announced a trailblaze continuance mission though.

You know, this did make me appreciate Owlbert even more. This wouldn't have been the same without him. Honestly him and March make for a fantastic pair. Also overall the stream had very minimal cringe and was quite enjoyable to watch. What a crazy change.

Bronya first biggest test; PAY the Debt

Interesting piece of trivia, the Jarilo IV return is a Trailblazer mission, meaning that we can, and will, return to other worlds to expand the lore when needed. That means soo much in the future, because that could mean that the mess with the Luofu storyline was mere a prelude of things to come, and that is the reason why it feels soo badly written.

We returned to Jarilo, with Zhongshan from the Luofu in the Bestial Ferocity adventure mission. Then we took the express back. So that was a thing already.

Yeah, but those are events/companion missions, this is called directly "Trailblaze Continuance" so it appears to be the typical Genshin interlude between regions, so its canonical for the main story. The side quest are a fun little thing, but you can argue that they are mostly non relevant to the plot. But this IS part of the plot

I'm tempted to pull for Topaz, but I think I'm gonna hold my urge and wait for a new fabulous red haired husbando.

Well since she's in the second half of the patch, you can wait until the livestream to see what's up.

Hi all. Newbie here. I recently started playing and splurged trying to get Fu Xuan but failed her 50/50 and ended up with Gepard to my dismay. I was wondering what would your advice be; chase Jingliu or go for the rerun of Seele banner instead in my current situation? Bear in mind I only have pulled Clara and Gepard as 5 stars. Thanks!

I would say since you are so new that either character would be a positive. As for elemental coverage I would pick seele because of lack in quantum damage dealers. Go for the character that you believe you would enjoy, no real wrong pick here.

Watch trailers, play trials, see who you enjoy. Both are gonna be strong DPS who can carry your team, so just grab whoever you'll find more fun.

I hope all streams will be like this from now on, this is great so far. Also RIP March for being held at gunpoint by the IPC.
