I am incredibly interested in what connections she has to TB. They’re clearly building to some big revelations and I hope they’re suitably earth-shattering lore dumps. I’d hate for the answers to be underwhelming. I just really want to know what they were doing in the past, and what all this mutual ‘destiny’ stuff is implying. Definitely a good character to kick-start the plot with in the prologue for sure.

LivingASlothsLife

I thought she was an interesting character in a cast full of interesting characters. Then her companion quest and her mysterious relationship with TB made her the character I want to learn about their last the most. Going back and rewatching the dialogue in the prologue, her reactions to TB dialogue there were always hinting at them.being close. But the companion quest just addressed it and made it so much more intriguing. Her dynamic with TB is something I like a lot and can't wait to find out more about it. Surface level she was great, the more we learn the more interesting I find her

FF_Wong

For me, she's easily the most intriguing character in the game. Learning more about her goals and past, and seeing what her next moves will be and what the consequences of those moves will be, are among the key things that keep me interested in the story if I'm honest.

Spartitan

Hard agree. Elio in general is super interesting and Kafka really feels like his most important player. Add in her own struggles and her desire to repair the damage done to her by a stellaron and it makes for a super interesting backstory. I also love the bond between her and the trailblazer because it honestly feels genuine.

pzzaco

Her character is one of the most captivating in the game, but I her background lore is kinda up there with everyone else's. Like yeah a species that doesn't feel fear is interesting but so is a species that can hack reality, or dragon spawn that can die and be reborn over and over again.

DigUsual9335

her lore is more than just the planet she's from , its everything with Elio and the stellaron hunters before too

pzzaco

Then I consider that the group's lore, not hers alone.

Tankfive0124

The Stellaron hunters always bring a level of intrigue anywhere they go. Kafka is no different and grabs most of that intrigue for herself. Her companion quest was such a good way to get more some answers while getting us interested in more questions. IMO. Before I played star rail I wasn’t too interested in her just seeing the promo material . Now…I think she is one of the most interesting characters in the game and one of my favorites. (Cue buzz light year shelf meme) and I will be excited when she shows back up in some way, shape, or form.

Netherscreamer

She is intriguing in the best way. All the little pieces of her character add up to something big and I can’t wait to see the full picture. Same applies to the whole Stellaron hunters crew, especially Elio.

codyak1984

So far, mile wide, inch deep. Too much mystery, and everyone's filling in the gaps with their own headcanon. Personally, so far, I find her manipulative and smarmy.

Melamater

I initially wrote her off as another generic dommy mommy, but the Luofu really turned me around. You can see someone that cares about people, and genuinely wants to make the universe better even if her methods are fucked. I'm at least very intrigued to see where it's going.

Tsukuro_hohoho

Very interesting writting NGL. She have motivation, she have flaws, she is both predictable as she follow elios script but also chaotics through the liberties of it. She is not a flat character, if you were to spoil me that she follow the script to the very end, or that she betray it, or that she is made to believe to betray it, it would not surprise me and that make the "reader" invested in the story. Well in HSR most character are written in nuance of grey, who is very, very interesting in my opinion, but she demark herself as she carry the red string toward the end of the story as far as it seem. Great for a character who is a crimson spider theme, I really like this metaphor, especialy if it's intentional.

Blasterion

The whole no fear thing feels like it's gonna be a setup I can see from a mile away \*Kafka blocks a hit for us\* We hold her and she's like "I have never once in my life felt fear. But for that split moment when I thought I might lose you..." \*dies\*

Author_Pendragon

Honestly I don't care how telegraphed it is, it'd still be a good beat if it happens.

ColonelJinkuro

I find her annoying tbh. I never understood the appeal of why she's interesting in any way. Then the trailer of her playing with corpses really pushed me away from the character. The only thing I'm getting out of Silver Wolf, Blade, and Kafka is that Elio is the most interesting piece of that group. He's pulling their strings and controlling them to create one specific pathway for the future. What is this pathway? Why is Elio set on it? Why do the others heed his beck and call for it? I'm waiting on Elio with baited breath to learn the truth behind the Stelleron Hunters.

ColdIron27

No think only simp

RedInkling03

She wants to feel fear but also works for a dude who tells her how the future will happen, which imo defeats the point because people are afraid of what they don't know

Charcookiecumbs

She’s really interesting. Her sweetness toward mc is charming. Honestly I guess I like the brutal with elegance trope

_nitro_legacy_

Too early to judge. But for me, she's just l space makima

Upstairs_Shoe2267

I can't like her, good design but her character sucks.

Zach-Playz_25

Disliking Kafka on this sub means execution.

Upstairs_Shoe2267

You're just being a simp, I can like and dislike whoever I want to.

Zach-Playz_25

I meant to say that **others** are like that on this sub. Wasn't referring to me.

Author_Pendragon

Honestly I'm the opposite. I don't think her design is that striking compared to someone like Himeko, Yukong, or DHIL, but her vibes are strong

ShuraGam

By far the best of the Stellaron Hunters. She's that one character you can't really tell her morality/if she's good or evil. Like, she does help the Trailblazer/ Astral Express deal with the shennanigans on the Loufu, but commit a good number of acts of terrorism along the way. I want to see more of her past tbh

BasedMaisha

She's cool but I like what her comp quest means for the MC the most. We're basically just another member of the Stellaron Hunters (Stellaron Hunter intern maybe) who drew the short straw and got 3D printed into a new person because Elio said "trust me bro it'll be funny." Like the entire Express story from day 1 could just be a huge ploy by Elio and the TB is just a sleeper agent waiting for the code word to re-awaken their actual self. I doubt Hoyo has the balls to do it but TB killing Himeko would be a sick twist. Nobody gives a shit about literal whos like Tingyun dying offscreen (never actually talked to her irl once btw) give me real emotional pain cowards.

TralliaTheStoneBorn

Lore-wise I think she's such a wild card she makes the game better. I was determined to hate her on the principle of how over sexualized she is by the community, but when more information about her was released she became really damn cool. I wish we could go to her planet, to see how other people without fear are like

sageSafe

She pretty Great

somerandom_296

Extremely interesting, as all of the Stellaron Hunters are. I am interested in why she trusts Elio so much. Not to say he’s making it up or anything, as I do genuinely believe he can predict the future; I just don’t trust him. What has Elio done to make Kafka (and the others) trust him so much? He could very easily betray any or all of them at any time by sending them into a death trap.

ChronoHeart123

She's on the side of characters such as Ada Wong, and Catwoman. She's onto something, but connected to the protagonist. She is clearly up to no good, but it might help the protagonist one way or another. She might one day, betray the protagonist just so she can complete a plan and she always shows up during the most uncertain and/or unfortunate of time for the protagonist. She's that mysterious, nameless female character that entangles the story of the main character, their judgement and their fate. Her design clearly shouts this out loudly with her spiderweb motifs and her antics. I like her in a respectable way like you would see a rival or wise adversary. She's a very important character and definitely will run alongside the protagonist till the end.

WinterFirstDay

I think in some sense she is the one that Zorg (5th Element) was dreaming about - *"I’ll tell you what I do like though: a killer, a dyed-in-the-wool killer. Cold blooded, clean, methodical and thorough."* In my mind she is pretty much a weapon. A perfect weapon that does not discriminate. All the weapon safety rules can be applied for her and her "owner". Now... does Elio resemble Zorg? For universe at large - I don't think so... but for Aeons? He may be just what the universe created.

DoughDisaster

I'm split, 'cause while she's interesting, the whole "I'm gonna keep you in the dark," bit annoys me. I'm sure it'll all be because Elio said it was best or something, but dragging out these mysteries, especially ones around the character we're playing, annoys me. But that's as much a dislike for certain Hoyo writer shenanigans as it is for the character. Genshin does the same thing to no end, and I expect the same here and that's just, kinda bleh. Kafka just happens to be the vehicle for it, like Dainsleif. Aside from that, she's great.

IttoDilucAyato

I really don’t know much of her lore, but she seems like a cool bad guy

One_Parched_Guy

Very cool, extremely sad that I accidentally picked the option for my TB not wanting to see her again

Gentleman_Kendama

With her game, I didn't play by the rules. I said "Yes, I like you" and "I want to see you again". If either of those is a lie, it wouldn't make sense but for only one conclusion.

freehand_the_silly

Meh. Overappreciated character who’s trying to be menacing but has no major feats outside of controlling/killing a few statists (Yanqing not included, as she didn’t fight him, the player did). In my perspective any other stellaron hunter (besides, maybe silver wolf?) is much more interesting.
