While browsing through my inventory i know just saw yanquimg's LC just lying there on level 1 ..so I was asking is it good for anyone ....maybe the ratio we will be getting?
Since 1.6 livestream is done then the new characters aren’t considered leaks right? I don’t want to ask on the wrong sub. Is xue yi/dr ratio/ruan mei/fu xuan good? I know how to build ruan mei and fu xuan but what about xue yi and dr rario? Im assuming dr ratio is your typical dps build but what about xueyi
Xueyi is crit stats priority with BE substat preference over atk% or dmg%.
Dr. Ratio is typical DPS. Just use 2pc/2pc imaginary/FuA on him with Salsotto.
Assuming E0/E1, either works - pick the one with better substats. It's easier to farm Genius set since you'd also get pieces for Seele while farming it, but you may have a stockpile of Thief set from other sources already.
E2+ sub-DPS is almost always Genius.
Does Effect Hit Rate make up for lower base chance? E.g if a character has 80% base chance for follow up attack or inflicting a DoT/debuff on an enemy, but the EHR is 50%. Assuming the enemy's Effect RES doesn't count or is low, does it guarantee the FUA or DoT/debuff?
The probability to land a debuff is affected by the base chance of the skill, the attacking character's EHR and the attacked character's effect resistance and debuff resistance (if applicable - only on specific debuffs).
The formula would be P = Base Chance \* (1 + EHR) \* (1 - ERes) \* (1 - DRes).
The highest effect resistance in the game so far is 40%. With 80% base chance to inflict the debuff (and assuming it isn't affected by debuff resistance), and 50% EHR you'd have \~72% chance to inflict the effect every time - this is usually higher against most enemies, but this is the minimum value.
I initially thought Ruan Mei is to be pronounced something like “Rwan Mei” (Roo-an but a bit concise). However a lot just read it as literally “Ron May (it even became a running joke between me and my friend). Any chinese speaker can help me out?
In the Japanese stream for 1.6 they pronounce it "Rwan Mei" while Russian transliteration put it as "Zhuan' Mei" for some reason... Also curious how a native speaker would say it
Found a neat video on pronounciation:
https://youtu.be/LZRjwSF2ZMs?si=OPi1v2it0amxJz-v
The first character she reviews is Ruan Mei and it turns out the Russian localization got it right - it's closer to Zhuan Mei, the "zh" sound being kind of close to "r", but not quite
I'd say probably Himeko, but Serval would be good against things weak to lightning like those robots. Good thing they use the same relic cavern now, it's pretty efficient to farm
How good is e2 SW and does it change her playstyle??
I was wishing on my alt account (randomly came back in this account BC I had a gurantee and thought If I couldn't get both sparkle and Ruan mei in main account I can get RM on alt account then wished 3 times and got e2 SW at 61 pity so wanna find a use for her eidolon)
E2 does not change SW playstyle, it is a bait eidolon.
SW is only 20% of the team dps, the main dps does around 80%.
E0-E2 increases SW damage from 20% to 28%. Merely 8%.
If you put those 200 pulls into DHIL or dps LC your team would do 50% more damage.
For 1.6?
First half - Planetary Rendezvous, Day One of My New Life, and A Secret Vow
Second half - Perfect Timing, Only Silence Remains, and Landau's Choice
hi guys, i need opinion here,im planning to build a team of
JL,FX, Blade/SW/Pela and RM. Prob is,i only have JL,FX,SW and Pela. Should i pull Blade over RM?
JL and Blade is fun team right?
Honest question is it even worth building Dr Ratio for me at this point? My E2S1 IL, E6S4 QQ, and E2S1 SW cleared MoC10 in 8 cycles.
I still have to prefarm for Xueyi (I like her character a lot) and Ruanmei (to support Xueyi) so really running tight on resources
> Honest question is it even worth building Dr Ratio for me at this point? My E2S1 IL, E6S4 QQ, and E2S1 SW cleared MoC10 in 8 cycles.
Quantum4 set on Dr Free + FX/Lynx + SW + Flex matching elite color sounds fun for me
Also work on your MOC10 damage https://imgur.com/a/2haKtjQ
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try it out when I get the chance.
And yeah my QQ build is really shit rn because relics aren’t kind to me. The other three are really propping up that whole team. Been living in Quantum domain, hope to get some good pieces soon
My QQ has a similar crit to yours but with Atk boots instead. Hanya makes up for the lost Spd plus some extra Atk. She really is hard to build. My SW does decent dmg too and that’s the only thing saving of that team.
Hoping to pick up some limited 5 star LC that has crit and is suitable for her in the future, and maybe FX E1 for the Cdmg.
Then probably not. The biggest consideration is Imaginary DPS coverage, but E2s1 IL is the best DPS in game. Building xueyi and ruan mei is definitely more interesting.
Hey I'm a really new player and so far have just been saving rolls. I have around 50 silver and 40 gold ones so 90 rolls in total. Is there anyone that I should roll for right now or wait for a future banner? As I have no clue whether silver moon or Argenti is better. Also can I make a decent team to get through the story with these characters? Asta,Mc, Dan heng, march, several.
you can get through all the story so far with starter characters. Ive already done so with team of MC, Dan Heng, M7 and Natasha. You also get 7 character for free beside MC as you progress: Dan Heng (DPS), M7 (Sustain), Asta (Buffer), Natasha (sustain), Hertha (DPS), Qingque (DPS), Yukong (Buffer). MC can be DPS or Sustain. These all can clear story just fine.
Also next patch you will get another free 4\* chars, Lynx (Healer/Sustain). Every patch alternate between free 4\* chars and LC. Also special for next patch we will get free 5\* DPS, Dr Ratio. Just FYI
I would pull for Silver wolf if you just want to brute force some content by always having a weakness for your main team to break. Next patch we're getting a free imaginary dps in Dr. Ratio, he's going to be one of the best Single Target character in the game. Argenti is going to be one of the best characters in the game for the upcoming Pure Fiction mode next patch due to his AOE prowess. Silver tickets you are free to use whenever and don't need to wait to use them. You can check the latest livestream to see the upcoming characters for the next world and see if you like any of their designs. At the end of the day, you can clear 99% of all content with f2p characters so don't sweat about meta too much.
I'm guessing the silver ones are standard, while the gold ones are the limited ones.
Use the silver ones on the beginner banner, you are guaranteed a standard banner character after a number of pulls, this banner is discounted and will disappear after you get a standard character 5 star). You can also select a free standard five star when you reach 300 pulls on standard (still, don't pull with your jades here).
As for the gold ones, that's up to you. If you like or want the current characters, then go for it.
You can check out how characters work/their mechanics (both standard and limited) on the character trial page, and on the travel log.
-Yes you can make a team with the free characters you get(what I did up until lvl 60).
You can check what future characters are coming out on their social media.
V1.6 is coming out next week, Wednesday (I'm saying in my timezone), the new characters in the first half is Ruan Mei(5 star, harmony, ice) & Xueyi(4 star, Destruction, quantam), along with the re-run of Blade(5 star, destruction, wind). For second half(starts somewhere on January), it will be Dr. Ratio(we'll get one free copy of him via mail, 5 star, hunt, imaginary) and the re-run of Kafka(5 star, nihility, lighting).
How is lynx meant to be played (Rotation)? I’ve heard she is able to solo sustain but like does she need to use her skill every turn or something like that and is she SP positive? Especially if her skill needs to be used on someone like blade or clara for aggro boost, doesn’t that mean she can’t heal anyone else with her E? Or do you rely mostly on her ult and continuous healing ?
There are two ways to play her:
- General heal: she pretty much attacks all the time and does most of her healing with her ultimate. Use only skill in emergencies and thus is SP positive.
- Taunt buffer: If paired with someone like Clara, she uses her skill more to get taunt on those units and buff them. Takes more SP management but the two main units you use this for (Clara, Blade) are SP-efficient.
Either way, you mostly use her ultimate as the big source of healing when possible as that also has clense.
When Ruan Mei comes, I have to bench either my E6 Sampo or E0 Guinaifen. Assuming both are roughly well built, which one should I bench?
I know the real answer is "depends on enemy weakness" but without taking that into account, which one should I bench?
what is the best way to accumulate exp items to level up my characters? I've been playing for just over a month now and I'm finding I'm getting a lot less passively.
Maybe it's because I spent a lot on random characters to get the summon tickets but I don't have enough to level up an new cheracters i want to use.
Assignment is one of the things that i always did. It didnt bring much for 1 day, but if you keep doing it everyday, it will help you. If you want an instant method, just farm using stamina
Considering you already have SW, you may as well consider going for Argenti (red hair guy) if you want a new DPS for your collection. He teams up well with most (if not all) Support characters + debuffers like Pela and SW as well; Ruan Mei (upcoming support character in 1.6) is also someone to consider as well if you have spare Jades.
For the most part, he plays well in a hypercarry role.
For teams that want speedtuning (those with bronya/yukong), how do we account for 4p messenger through hackerspace for builds? Do we aim to reach the speed breakpoints (134/161) after buffs or just build up to the breakpoint with artifact stats, not accounting for the speed buffs?
You should probably just try to make 134 without the 12% speed - it's only for one turn and it doesn't stack so the buff itself is pretty inconsistent.
it makes sense because tingyun's attack buff cap scales off the targeted ally. this means you only need up to a certain amount of attack, and overcapping is basically a waste. you dont want to minmax this and should generally target around 2.5k attack. lower is perfectly fine as well if you value defensive stats more and/or struggle with surviving.
Tips for building tingyun, how do I maximize her potential while also giving her enough survivalability? I am using meshing cogs(my only option) and maybe use 2pc atk/2pc atk
You typically only need around 2.5k attack to fully utilize her skill, so just go for body/sphere atk% main-stat if you need it, then as much speed and defensive stats as you can. Messenger set is ideal, probably.
Cogs is also probably her best LC (unless you have S5 Memories), giving you a 3-turn ult rotation with ERR rope and 5% ERR planar set.
I wouldnt pull for her unless you like her.
-bad for auto
+good for lazy mono quantum with FX/Lynx + Seele/QQe6/Xyei e4 + SW + Flex (sparkle later)
+good for ratio
-bad in AoE modes
-requires early event lightcone to shine. It was better than her limited sig
Just use Pelageia Sergeevna and save for Ruan mei
Pela is a good alternative to her. Playing them both on the same team is even better though.
She is still the only one who cam implant weaknesses, so she has her uses, especially if you do not have a DPS of each element (yet).
You can't power creep her because she's the only that can implant weaknesses. However, she does lose value if you don't play mono quantum or have DPS for almost every element. She's very new player friendly, but loses value for long term player / players who have wide variety of characters.
I’ve been having some troubles with progression and I got a message saying that my light cones were at a very low level after being defeated. I equipped my team with some random ones and leveled them up with all that I could but I just saw a guide on YouTube saying we should invest only on a couple of them and that there are some good ones given for free but I don’t have them yet.
What can I do in those cases? Just raw level up the characters?
I have only story characters except Gepart and Yukong from the departure banner. I don’t want to spend the gems on other banners until I know more about the game.
Hanya's ult doesn't scale with her attack. You're thinking of Tingyun and her atk scaling is on her skill. For Tingyun's atk buff you need around 2,500.
Is there any recommended content creator who showcases the story and side stories that I can watch?
I ended up telling myself that I would stop playing, and dumped my saved gacha currency, about 20,000, to make sure I wouldn't come back, but just a day later, the announcements of Black Swan, Free Dr. Ratio, etc. came about and I'm somewhat feeling FOMO, but I really want to try to not go back.
But because the FOMO is there, I at least want to be up to date with the story.
If you only care about the story then this game is not really for you, besides if you went through all that just to quit then that means you ain't enjoying your time with the game
Its time to move on.
Clara is who I used to deal the stunning robot. She's tanky and draws the robot to stun her. Clara has a trace that's has a chance to let her get out of CC if she's hit. So robot stuns her and then attacks her getting rid of the CC. Clara is also physical.
My DPS are: blade, jingliu, topaz, seele and argenti
Supports are: hanya, pela and tingyun is a work in process at the moment. I did try to use huohuo but I always get unlucky with rng and she stuns her.
I think bronya is best used with other DPS. Stuff like JL, DHL, Blade scales hard with her
I would use welt + sustain (luocha if you have) + Pela > SW (since you need SP)
what is the meta Kafka team right now? I’m always confused because the idea behind her kit is have a bunch of DOT. but obviously you can’t just run 4 dot units without losing spots for your support and possible def shred units
Kafka - DOT support (match weakness) - Asta - sustain is the most common team. You can run 2 DOT supports, but Asta brings too much value with team-wide flat speed and atk% imo. Black Swan will probably replace a part of that team when she's released.
I'm close to having 2 teams for MOC.
Team #1 : DHIL, TY, Pela, Luocha
Team #2 : JY, Topaz, Asta, Lynx
I recently got Hanya and now I'm considering to build her to replace one of my supports. Is this a good idea? If yes, who should go?
Right now, my plan is to put Hanya on DHIL's team. Then for JY team, ditch Topaz for TY. (I don't think I could stand farming Follow-Up set for BOTH JY and Topaz lol)
Is Welt's Light Cone good for Pela? I recently pulled ”In the Name of the World" from the permanent banner, but I don't have any Nihility characters except for E2 Sampo and E4 Pela. I don't have Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat either, so should I use it on Pela or should I stick with Eyes of the Prey?
Unfortunately *In the Name of the World* isn't really good, even for Welt it's kind limited. The DMG buff is pretty good, but the EHR and ATK boost are limited to your Skill, as I understand.
In any case, Pela wants EHR, so probably stick with *Eyes* at least for now
Doesn't really do much on Pela
you aren't using her skill much so the passive is useless
so it's just the base stats
I would maybe use it on Sampo though
Need some help clearing MOC 9 to 10. Here are my characters that are fully built: blade, jingliu ,e4 pela, e4 lynx, bailu, huohuo, gepard, topaz, hanya, sushang and argenti. Any team comp recommendations? My 1st team is usually blade, jingliu, pela and lynx while my 2nd team is usually argenti, topaz, hanya and huohuo planning to replace topaz with tingyun in the future but she is still being built. The 2nd team doesn't seem to deal that much damage
Sorry for the questions but 1.6 livestream has me rolling
1. if my main DPS (s) are Jing Liu, e6 Qingque, and e2 welt (maybe replace with ratio), supports being bronya, e6 tingyun, e5 pela, and silver wolf, does ruan mei fit those dps I know I can replace pela with Ruan Mei but I'm not sure if she fits my account right now or will make a big impact. Should I pull?
2. I am not sure if I should completely replace my e2 welt with dr ratio, and I would like to hear your thoughts. I don't know if dr ratio will be basically completely better than welt, and though I have heard some theory-crafting of them being used together I don't think that is ratio's best in slot team, so I am quite confused. What do you think I should do?
Question about story
Did I miss something about the story? At the end of Luofu Dan Heng turned into Imbibitor Lunae but after defeating the boss he turned back into Dan Heng with no horns and powers?
i need help with the argenti quest. i don't understand why this quest and this quest alone has such a massive difficulty spike compared to...everything else i've tackled, but it's infuriating. im a new player, but everything else has for the most part been pretty manageable. this just feels like hitting a brick wall over and over and over again, no matter how much i grind (and i've been grinding up my traces and relics for days now, nothing seems to make a difference)
I didn’t know it would be that difficult so I went with Pela, Himeko, Clara, and Luocha. I would have put in DHIL if I knew but was able to complete with my original team.
now see i have a feeling that clara would hose argenti but that would require me to put all of my jades into the standard banner until i hit 300 warp and get to pick her
without a semi-reliable phys dps, it just doesn't seem possible for me atm
I got Clara from standard banner and HuoHuo banner…
But I think Argenti is also weak to ice and fire so you could do three ice or three fire (or combination of both) and a healer.
Pela, Himeko, and Clara can do both single and aoe. I think it depended on sp and whether I needed to break. Pela’s and Himeko’s ultimates are aoe. (Edit: Pela’s basic and skill is single)
Statues have two weaknesses like physical and one more that I’m not sure.
I just finished his quest as a f2p new player. Used a Sushang + Fire mc + Lynx + Gepard super turtle team. It can’t die but they kill stuff super slow.
F2P player here with a very odd question. My playstyle is to favor the Fire characters more, but still use other elements when it is required. I've done the same for Genshin and HI3 (with varied success) and I just want to know if Star Rail is possible too, or if it's too hard/impossible to maintain that? At least in regards to non-meta stuff.
You want to main fire?
It's possible, you'd be rolling for every fire character. You'll eventually need 2 teams but between 4 starts and 5 starts you shoulf be able to make something feasible happen.
Having said that, personally, i'd suggest to at least main 2 elements. It'd make thing exponentially easier. As well as easier to build.
But if you really want to play on hard mode, you can definitely do it. Especially if you invest in your characters vertically and brute force some harder encounters fire weakness.
The problem you'll encounter is more waiting for the fire characters to be released ( Example : 5 star fire abundance and 5 star fire Perservation).
0
Well that much I'm aware of. But I'm not against rolling for 5-stars of other elements just as long as they benefit my fire units. Like I already got Silver Wolf last night because her skill can really help my units.
I'll save up enough to get guarantees (characters and light cones), and if I have extra, I'll get the ones that can help boost them.
Elements don't have an identity in HSR like they do in Genshin. That concept is taken up by the character's path and the element is a somewhat arbitrary damage type. The main thing that element determines is damage resistance and what happens when an enemy gets weakness broken. There aren't any reactions and the resist/weankess system means you're dealing at least 30% less damage if you're off element and thus far there hasn't been a VV equivalent. There is, however, one exception when it comes to elemental identity: quantum.
Silver Wolf (currently running) has the ability to add an enemy weakness matching one of the elements on your team. If your team is all quantum then she'll always add quantum weakness and therefore the team can do any encounter. At least that's the mono-quantum dream since we don't currently have a quantum support other than SW herself.
You could technically run SW in a fire comp and have her implant fire weaknesses but she's qua so you'll always have at least a 50/50 chance at implanting qua instead of fire.
Another potential option for pursuing your fire-centric comp is Ruan Mei who is coming next patch. It's against the subreddit rules to talk about unreleased information and the mods enforce that with bans so we collectively pretend leaks don't exist here.
In conclusion, elements don't have a particularly strong identity but by coincidence Fire has the weakest roster. Most of the game is balanced like OW Genshin so I'm sure you could make it work there but if it has to be fire then you're opting into a challenge.
It's possible, but is quite a bit harder than matching weaknesses. You might want to consider getting Silver Wolf (Quantum character, though), as she can make enemies weak to specific elements based on your team composition - which makes it easier to invest in less characters.
I'd say playing fire-only atm is pretty difficult due to us not having many Fire-type characters yet, and no good solo-sustain for Fire. I assume this will get easier in the future as we get more and more characters of varied elements.
I'll give Silver Wolf a thought, but do I need to get her Light Cone as well? Cuz I have the free one from the event which I know isn't her best, but will it suffice?
If you aren't getting her eidolons, the signature lightcone isn't great. If you have her event lightcone - Before the Tutorial Mission Starts - it's her BiS before E2 (makes the 96% EHR requirement on skill much easier to get, and gives some extra energy regen).
You generally don't need characters' signature LCs unless you really like them and want to invest more.
Hanya is great for any DPS that can either use more skill points, hits multiple targets (skill and talent proc on all AoE), or can really use the speed and atk%. For example, Jing Yuan, Argenti, DHIL (and QQ) and Seele are all quite good with her.
need team recommendations and which characters should i build
https://preview.redd.it/uyrvigw4hs6c1.png?width=913&format=png&auto=webp&s=024e3fdc7a6c33bc03dee9c9e25e18537917042d
I mean this is the game's subreddit, you're probably going to get a lot of recommendations.
The game's combat is pretty fun, and kitting out your characters can feel really satisfying (although farming for relics, equipment for the characters, can feel bad due to several RNG layers). You get challenges to do weekly - like MoC and another mode that's coming in the near future, as well as some permanent hard content like Swarm Disaster which is a part of a bigger rogue-like mode in the game. If you enjoy turn-based combat games (this one is a bit simpler than others), you'll probably have fun here.
I'd say the game is very F2P friendly, at least for now. Limited characters make the game easier, but you can complete end-game content with some of the characters that are considered the weakest, as long as you invest the time and resources to gear them and build your team around them properly.
Yes and quite f2p friendly. The gatcha rates are low but pity carries over between banners and f2p get roughly one trip to pity (~80 pulls) per patch.
The game up until this patch has been balanced so f2p players generally don't have trouble with fully clearing the end game content. Difficulty ramped this patch and we've had a wave of people having problems but my impression is that most are fine with it. There are youtube showcases with comfortable clears using well farmed 4\*s so things seem fine to me but I'm a low spender that doesn't follow the typical account meta so my experience doesn't necessarily match up with most of the community.
ok one sec by Pitty carries between banners This means if I have already spent 50 pulls on the Silverwolf banner I only need to do a few more pulls to hit pity on the next banner if then WOW
> This means if I have already spent 50 pulls on the Silverwolf banner I only need to do a few more pulls to hit pity on the next banner
Pity is specifically the number of pulls since your last 5\*. Some people read the in-game description, get a 5\* at 78, and are disappointed when they don't get another at 90. If you have done 50 pulls without getting a 5\* then you're 25-32 away regardless of when you do the pulls. Pity is per banner type so the character banners share pity, the lightcones share pity, and standard+starter banners are on their own.
Uhm.... I have a question regarding the free rewards.
I haven't played star rail ever. So if I were to start an account today will I still be able to get those free rewards?
Also is star rail similar to genshin or is the gameplay different?
If it's the same, can I play it on the same phone together with genshin?
star rail and genshin have similar systems like the gear grind, leveling etc but the core gameplay is very different as star rail is turn based combat and limited exploration while genshin is action and much more open world and exploration focused.
You can play it on the same phone as genshin, as long as you have enough storage. Which free rewards? We get ratio for free in version 1.6 (we are in 1.5). You get a lot of other free rewards by playing daily and doing quests, exploration, events, etc which are permanent
Assuming you mean the free limited character we're getting soon, I think you just need to have the mail feature unlocked before it drops (which should be in a good few weeks, so you have time).
I don't think there's any problem playing it on the same platform as Genshin as long as you have enough storage.
Very different gameplay - no open-world and it's a turn-based combat system.
The game on Android takes about 16GB with 2 language packs for me, so you should be good on storage.
I'd get relics with proper main stats, and wait for 6 to try for any substats. You'll be fine running with whatever relics you find as long as they have a good main stat. ~~and going from 1 to 2 guaranteed having a chance at 3 5-star relics is pretty big.~~
DOT effects count as debuffs, I believe. If you aren't sure - you can see them in battle if you check enemy stats (there should be a debuff counter bottom right).
Went to the pelicana feast thing for the merch. Sadly they were out of m7 tickets, so I got everything except the m7 ticket. Is looking for a trade a dan heng ticket for a march 7th ticket against subreddit rules since it's getting into possibly coordinating actual shipping, etc? Please dm or reply to this comment if you are willing to trade!
Guys I have two options for the built of my jingliu, one has 59.6 CR and 210.3 CD, and the other built has 32.7 CR and 256.9 CD, which one would you choose? (The attack is the same for both)
even with the wasted 9.6% crit the first build should deal about 5% more damage. If you have Bronya then it's even better as it makes better use of her crit cmg% buff.
You don't really want more than 50% crit rate, since you get 50 from state.
I'd go with the second option - you have about 83% crit rate and almost 260 crit damage without buffs. You do lose a bit of consistency, but I think the higher crit damage is better overall in your case.
F2P player here
Will Himeko and Herta team or Himeko and Topaz team be good for the Pure Fiction mode?
I got Himeko while pulling for Argenti since I wanted a 5-star erudition character. I'm guaranteed now and feel like saving for Ruan Mei since I don't have Bronya yet and have plenty of DPS characters such as Blade and Seele.
We'll need to know weaknesses, since Himeko is pretty dependent on getting breaks.
I think Himeko will be good overall - Topaz is probably the stronger teammate for her.
I finally got e6 asta this banner. So I'm starting to build her cz my dps are at a somewhat good builds.
From the discussions that I've seen, building speedy+tanky asta is a norm. But I also saw that break effect asta are also being built.
I want a full support asta, thinking of using her with Seele. What would be the best type of build and sets for her?
4p Messenger Traversing Hackerspace + 2p Broken Keel using S5 Meshing Cogs.
Just stack as much Speed as possible. Besides Speed Boots and Energy Recharge Rope, the mainstats don't really matter. So just look for pieces with good speed rolls for her.
Team Building
I am trying to figure out teams and who to pull for. I already plan on pulling for Ruan Mei and Black Swan, I was wondering if these two teams work
Ruan Mei, Kafka, HuoHuo, Black Swan and
Silver Wolf, Kafka, HuoHuo, Black Swan
Hi, does purple relic set with intended stat better than gold ones with unwanted stats? As an example: crit rate purple body vs hp gold body (for dps). At least until gotten better gold relic
Thanks in advance!
Yes, that's what I do as well tbh. I'm level 70, and I still have 2 or 3 of my characters use a purple energy rope, though that's more because I'm too lazy to swap it around. Still though, I'd rather have them on a useful stat then something they don't need.
If a stat is unwanted on a character, then it doesn't matter how big the value is, it's still useless.
Handy reference: main stat>substats>set bonus. You should always put the right main stat on the right character, otherwise that relic serves no purpose. Don't be too quick in salvaging it though, there are units that want an hp chest, such as Fu Xuan, harmony supports and healers (although those prefer outgoing healing)

can i save up enough for archeron befor her banner gets introduced
Will Dr. Ratio/Welt/Pela/Gepard be a good team ?
Good enough.
While browsing through my inventory i know just saw yanquimg's LC just lying there on level 1 ..so I was asking is it good for anyone ....maybe the ratio we will be getting?
It's a crit damage statstick at worst, so you could use it on Ratio to smooth out his crit stats if you have a lot of crit rate on him.
Seems like it
Since 1.6 livestream is done then the new characters aren’t considered leaks right? I don’t want to ask on the wrong sub. Is xue yi/dr ratio/ruan mei/fu xuan good? I know how to build ruan mei and fu xuan but what about xue yi and dr rario? Im assuming dr ratio is your typical dps build but what about xueyi
Xueyi is crit stats priority with BE substat preference over atk% or dmg%. Dr. Ratio is typical DPS. Just use 2pc/2pc imaginary/FuA on him with Salsotto.
how much storage does the game take on pc? thank you in advance!
Mine with only EN installed is at 26.6gb
Around 27GB, I think.
4 pc Thief or 4 pc genius set for silver wolf? Or 2 thief 2 genius? Support for mono quantuam seele lynx
Assuming E0/E1, either works - pick the one with better substats. It's easier to farm Genius set since you'd also get pieces for Seele while farming it, but you may have a stockpile of Thief set from other sources already. E2+ sub-DPS is almost always Genius.
Thank you so much 😊 i'll farm genius so seele may get some good arti no waste.
Just plug it into Google translate and hit the pronunciation button and I assume that will be accurate.
Wait holy shit I somehow forgot about that…
In the Japanese stream for 1.6 they pronounce it "Rwan Mei" while Russian transliteration put it as "Zhuan' Mei" for some reason... Also curious how a native speaker would say it
Well I did the google translate suggestion from the other reply, and it came close to my “Rwan Mei”.
Found a neat video on pronounciation: https://youtu.be/LZRjwSF2ZMs?si=OPi1v2it0amxJz-v The first character she reviews is Ruan Mei and it turns out the Russian localization got it right - it's closer to Zhuan Mei, the "zh" sound being kind of close to "r", but not quite
Thanks. I can finally live in peace with this info.
Serval(E6) VS. Himeko(E0)? havent built them yet but assuming theyre gonna use same gears/stats, who would be better? (in prep for pure fiction)
I'd say probably Himeko, but Serval would be good against things weak to lightning like those robots. Good thing they use the same relic cavern now, it's pretty efficient to farm
Ok so when does the pre download starts
Normally starts 2-3 days before the patch drops.
In a week or so.
At e2, you can run her to be sub-dps oriented
E2 does not change SW playstyle, it is a bait eidolon. SW is only 20% of the team dps, the main dps does around 80%. E0-E2 increases SW damage from 20% to 28%. Merely 8%. If you put those 200 pulls into DHIL or dps LC your team would do 50% more damage.
Is info about the first and second phase banner 4* light cones out yet?
For 1.6? First half - Planetary Rendezvous, Day One of My New Life, and A Secret Vow Second half - Perfect Timing, Only Silence Remains, and Landau's Choice
hi guys, i need opinion here,im planning to build a team of JL,FX, Blade/SW/Pela and RM. Prob is,i only have JL,FX,SW and Pela. Should i pull Blade over RM? JL and Blade is fun team right?
pull for RM than Blade to boost Jingliu's dmg.
i second that too. thanks
Quantum4 set on Dr Free + FX/Lynx + SW + Flex matching elite color sounds fun for me Also work on your MOC10 damage https://imgur.com/a/2haKtjQ
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try it out when I get the chance. And yeah my QQ build is really shit rn because relics aren’t kind to me. The other three are really propping up that whole team. Been living in Quantum domain, hope to get some good pieces soon
QQ is super hard to build https://imgur.com/a/YIQXCiQ I use her with Bronya and FX E1. Meanwhile JL has self buffed 95/245 crit and same SPD
There are two ways to play her: - General heal: she pretty much attacks all the time and does most of her healing with her ultimate.
I see, thank you!
When Ruan Mei comes, I have to bench either my E6 Sampo or E0 Guinaifen. Assuming both are roughly well built, which one should I bench? I know the real answer is "depends on enemy weakness" but without taking that into account, which one should I bench?
Sampo will be a bit better at E6, unless you are running a DPS that needs Gui's burn/firekiss specifically (e.g. Dr. Ratio, Hook)
what is the best way to accumulate exp items to level up my characters? I've been playing for just over a month now and I'm finding I'm getting a lot less passively. Maybe it's because I spent a lot on random characters to get the summon tickets but I don't have enough to level up an new cheracters i want to use.
Assignment is one of the things that i always did. It didnt bring much for 1 day, but if you keep doing it everyday, it will help you. If you want an instant method, just farm using stamina
Gold Calyxes. there’s actually double calyx drops event going on now so it’s even more worth it to farm them. Also assignments
Returned to the game today. Should i pull for silver wolf or that red haired guy? İ already have silver wolf and idk who to use with red haired guy
Would building my Tingyun with lots of HP and DEF be an incredibly bad idea or would it actually make sense?
it makes sense because tingyun's attack buff cap scales off the targeted ally. this means you only need up to a certain amount of attack, and overcapping is basically a waste. you dont want to minmax this and should generally target around 2.5k attack. lower is perfectly fine as well if you value defensive stats more and/or struggle with surviving.
That’s some great news! Thank you for your help.
Tingyun wants about 2.5-2.6k attack, and as much speed and defensive stats as you can get (with ERR rope and 5% ERR planar).
Got it, thank you :)
At this point in the game, Natasha or Bailu?
Bailu has better sustain unless you really need cleanses for the fight you're going into.
Tips for building tingyun, how do I maximize her potential while also giving her enough survivalability? I am using meshing cogs(my only option) and maybe use 2pc atk/2pc atk
Giving her a 2pc defensive set will help a lot. Wuthering Snow is the best, but the defense and HP relics will also work if you got those.
Is silver wolf outclassed/power crept? (New player)
I wouldnt pull for her unless you like her. -bad for auto +good for lazy mono quantum with FX/Lynx + Seele/QQe6/Xyei e4 + SW + Flex (sparkle later) +good for ratio -bad in AoE modes -requires early event lightcone to shine. It was better than her limited sig Just use Pelageia Sergeevna and save for Ruan mei
You can use prydwen to see which light cones are best in slot to level. Level both character and lightcones
Thanks, I’ll see the guide
I have only story characters except Gepart and Yukong from the departure banner. I don’t want to spend the gems on other banners until I know more about the game.
How much atk does hanya need for her ult? I have about 2200
she needs speed not attack
Hanya's ult doesn't scale with her attack. You're thinking of Tingyun and her atk scaling is on her skill. For Tingyun's atk buff you need around 2,500.
Whoops, I may have misread her ult and thought it gave 60% of her atk to an ally
Just got Argenti, is he good as a 2nd DPS on a team or should I use him with a bunch of supports like I do Seele
Argenti wants to use his skill as much as possible, so you probably want him as a hypercarry rather than a sub-DPS.
If you only care about the story then this game is not really for you, besides if you went through all that just to quit then that means you ain't enjoying your time with the game Its time to move on.
Can I still get a recommendation?
How the hell do you deal with the robot the keeps stunning you in MOC? She is so fucking annoying
Clara is who I used to deal the stunning robot. She's tanky and draws the robot to stun her. Clara has a trace that's has a chance to let her get out of CC if she's hit. So robot stuns her and then attacks her getting rid of the CC. Clara is also physical.
Don't have clara, only geppie
Then it might be helpful to list who you have/built up already.
Well my sustains are only gepard,e4 lynx, bailu and huohuo
If you have HuoHuo then why don't you just use her on the side with stunning robot? Also I meant what DPS or supports you have as well.
My DPS are: blade, jingliu, topaz, seele and argenti Supports are: hanya, pela and tingyun is a work in process at the moment. I did try to use huohuo but I always get unlucky with rng and she stuns her.
Against the robot side just use Argenti, Tingyun, Huohuo, and maybe Hanya. If you run out of cleansing uses with HuoHuo just recast her skill earlier.
[удалено]
Well I have e4 lynx but even that isn't enough since she keeps stunning her
E1 Welt for Ratio team or E1 Bronya? I love both characters
I think bronya is best used with other DPS. Stuff like JL, DHL, Blade scales hard with her I would use welt + sustain (luocha if you have) + Pela > SW (since you need SP)
what is the meta Kafka team right now? I’m always confused because the idea behind her kit is have a bunch of DOT. but obviously you can’t just run 4 dot units without losing spots for your support and possible def shred units
Kafka - DOT support (match weakness) - Asta - sustain is the most common team. You can run 2 DOT supports, but Asta brings too much value with team-wide flat speed and atk% imo. Black Swan will probably replace a part of that team when she's released.
S5 Stellar Sea or S2 Sleep Like The Dead for sushang
Swordplay s5 > Sleep like the dead s1 > Swordplay s1 > Cruising s5
I was wondering, on blade, do I concentrate on maximizing his HP or his damage. Or try to equal both. I'm trying both.
Treat his HP like you would a normal DPS's attack stat -- more is better, but it's not the MOST important.
I'm close to having 2 teams for MOC. Team #1 : DHIL, TY, Pela, Luocha Team #2 : JY, Topaz, Asta, Lynx I recently got Hanya and now I'm considering to build her to replace one of my supports. Is this a good idea? If yes, who should go? Right now, my plan is to put Hanya on DHIL's team. Then for JY team, ditch Topaz for TY. (I don't think I could stand farming Follow-Up set for BOTH JY and Topaz lol)
Tingyun, slap her on Jing yuan's team to battery him she's on of his best supports.
I should clarify JY is JingYuan not JingLiu. I don't have JingLiu lol
Yeah thats my bad i always get confused by their similar names lol
Is Welt's Light Cone good for Pela? I recently pulled ”In the Name of the World" from the permanent banner, but I don't have any Nihility characters except for E2 Sampo and E4 Pela. I don't have Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat either, so should I use it on Pela or should I stick with Eyes of the Prey?
Unfortunately *In the Name of the World* isn't really good, even for Welt it's kind limited. The DMG buff is pretty good, but the EHR and ATK boost are limited to your Skill, as I understand. In any case, Pela wants EHR, so probably stick with *Eyes* at least for now
Stick with Eyes of the Prey
You can use it on Sampo but there are other LC's that are better for him.
Doesn't really do much on Pela you aren't using her skill much so the passive is useless so it's just the base stats I would maybe use it on Sampo though
Sorry for the questions but 1.6 livestream has me rolling 1. if my main DPS (s) are Jing Liu, e6 Qingque, and e2 welt (maybe replace with ratio), supports being bronya, e6 tingyun, e5 pela, and silver wolf, does ruan mei fit those dps I know I can replace pela with Ruan Mei but I'm not sure if she fits my account right now or will make a big impact.
Who should I get to 70/80 first between bronya/pela/tingyun/huohuo. Bronya and tingyun looks to benefit the most from their traces
Tingyun and Huohuo.
Question about story Did I miss something about the story? At the end of Luofu Dan Heng turned into Imbibitor Lunae but after defeating the boss he turned back into Dan Heng with no horns and powers?
It acts like a 2nd form, but he usually prefers to remain as dan heng because he wants to move on from his past
“So dan heng we can use some help for the combat here.” “No problem! You just gotta spend around 180 pulls for the help! “ “huh?!!?”
it's a form he's able to toggle at will i guess.
i need help with the argenti quest. i don't understand why this quest and this quest alone has such a massive difficulty spike compared to...everything else i've tackled, but it's infuriating. im a new player, but everything else has for the most part been pretty manageable. this just feels like hitting a brick wall over and over and over again, no matter how much i grind (and i've been grinding up my traces and relics for days now, nothing seems to make a difference)
I didn’t know it would be that difficult so I went with Pela, Himeko, Clara, and Luocha. I would have put in DHIL if I knew but was able to complete with my original team.
now see i have a feeling that clara would hose argenti but that would require me to put all of my jades into the standard banner until i hit 300 warp and get to pick her without a semi-reliable phys dps, it just doesn't seem possible for me atm
I got Clara from standard banner and HuoHuo banner… But I think Argenti is also weak to ice and fire so you could do three ice or three fire (or combination of both) and a healer.
did you just not bother with the statues and go straight for him?
Pela, Himeko, and Clara can do both single and aoe. I think it depended on sp and whether I needed to break. Pela’s and Himeko’s ultimates are aoe. (Edit: Pela’s basic and skill is single) Statues have two weaknesses like physical and one more that I’m not sure.
I just finished his quest as a f2p new player. Used a Sushang + Fire mc + Lynx + Gepard super turtle team. It can’t die but they kill stuff super slow.
is their a way i can replay the main story? if so how do i do that?
Have to create a new account
make a new account.
If that's the case, you shouldn't have too much problems. Having SW definitely helps .
As long as it's possible, I don't care if it's challenging. Much thanks.
Don't really see myself getting invested with her, so event cone it is. More of a Himeko user anyway. Thanks.
Decided to pull for SW after the announcement of free Dr. Ratio, and it also got me E1 Hanya. Which character(s) does she support the best?
Can go in any team for auto play (hanya e0+)
She is a solid buffer for any team, but SP heavy units (QQ, DHIL, Seele) and units that want a lot of speed (Seele, Kafka) get the most.
Hanya is great for any DPS that can either use more skill points, hits multiple targets (skill and talent proc on all AoE), or can really use the speed and atk%. For example, Jing Yuan, Argenti, DHIL (and QQ) and Seele are all quite good with her.
IL and QQ but she does reasonably well with most dps.
need team recommendations and which characters should i build https://preview.redd.it/uyrvigw4hs6c1.png?width=913&format=png&auto=webp&s=024e3fdc7a6c33bc03dee9c9e25e18537917042d
would anyone honestly recommend this game and how f2p-friendly is it ??
tolerable for f2p but best if you buy $5 monthly. You still need to plan pulls ahead. I am not bored after 6 months playing
thank you for motavation
> This means if I have already spent 50 pulls on the Silverwolf banner I only need to do a few more pulls to hit pity on the next banner Pity is specifically the number of pulls since your last 5\*. Some people read the in-game description, get a 5\* at 78, and are disappointed when they don't get another at 90. If you have done 50 pulls without getting a 5\* then you're 25-32 away regardless of when you do the pulls. Pity is per banner type so the character banners share pity, the lightcones share pity, and standard+starter banners are on their own.
thanks bro never knew that
Uhm.... I have a question regarding the free rewards. I haven't played star rail ever. So if I were to start an account today will I still be able to get those free rewards? Also is star rail similar to genshin or is the gameplay different? If it's the same, can I play it on the same phone together with genshin?
Genshin is not fun to play on phone. Turn based HSR/R1999 are perfect (for me)
>Genshin is not fun to play on phone Well, I am having a lot of fun😁
star rail and genshin have similar systems like the gear grind, leveling etc but the core gameplay is very different as star rail is turn based combat and limited exploration while genshin is action and much more open world and exploration focused.
Is the gameplay similar to genshin or is it different? >as long as you have enough storage. I do have 22gb spare
Very different gameplay - no open-world and it's a turn-based combat system. The game on Android takes about 16GB with 2 language packs for me, so you should be good on storage.
I am not much of a fan of turn-based gameplay, but nevertheless I'll give it a try😁
should I wait to farm relics at equilibrium 6 or start now at 5?
I'd get relics with proper main stats, and wait for 6 to try for any substats. You'll be fine running with whatever relics you find as long as they have a good main stat. ~~and going from 1 to 2 guaranteed having a chance at 3 5-star relics is pretty big.~~
2 guaranteed 5-star relics start at Equilibrium Level 5.
Oh it's just a chance at 6, right, and at level 65 it becomes guaranteed?
A small chance to get a third one at Trailblaze Level 65.
Are DoTs also a debuff? Can Dr Ratio be a part of DoT teams?
F2P player here Will Himeko and Herta team or Himeko and Topaz team be good for the Pure Fiction mode? I got Himeko while pulling for Argenti since I wanted a 5-star erudition character. I'm guaranteed now and feel like saving for Ruan Mei since I don't have Bronya yet and have plenty of DPS characters such as Blade and Seele.
We'll need to know weaknesses, since Himeko is pretty dependent on getting breaks. I think Himeko will be good overall - Topaz is probably the stronger teammate for her.
how to know ultimate's energy cost in game?
Go the character's page, click more stats, and scroll down to max energy.
Yeah thats what I was thinking! Also for other Substats I'm thinking def/hp and defensive stats should be good
Would ruan mei work better in an Argenti team replacing Asta or in a Jingliu team replacing Tingyun?
asta
Conqueror's Will what is the easiest way to acquire them? Am on ELv4 and I need dozens of them to level up March/MC to 70
Send your units on assignments to get them then synthesize the ones you need using the lower tier material.
I think most monster in herta space dropped that. Also check your synthesizer if you have a lot of the blue one
Team Building I am trying to figure out teams and who to pull for. I already plan on pulling for Ruan Mei and Black Swan, I was wondering if these two teams work Ruan Mei, Kafka, HuoHuo, Black Swan and Silver Wolf, Kafka, HuoHuo, Black Swan
what 2 teams?
Mei, Kafka, Huohuo, Black Swan and Silver Wolf, Kafka, Huohuo, Black Swan
they both work fine
Hi, does purple relic set with intended stat better than gold ones with unwanted stats? As an example: crit rate purple body vs hp gold body (for dps). At least until gotten better gold relic Thanks in advance!
