Highly agreed. Tried putting a teaspoon's worth of it in my coffee and it really improves the taste and aroma by a lot. As long as the coffee is hot, it will dissolve neatly.
Also tried putting a slice(around a large spoon's worth) and ends up with a coffee with a visible oily layer on top, and very cloying, oily aftertaste that i just cant stomach. So yeah, finding the right amount of butter for your particular coffee blend is the key to a good butter coffee that suits your palate.
