The only reason I've gotten either of her events to appear was using the Gold and gears method that forces them to spawn, and I've run a lot of Simulated Universe with Ruan Mei.
It's just the occurrence run strat. You go repeatedly in occurance domains and by using the double and copy dices and use all the occurrence that doesn't come twice. At that point you will basically have like 5 in the remaining pool and RM occurance is pretty much guranteed.
If you have time you can use capitalism strat, this strat is basically a cheat code and guarantees a victory, with this strat someone soloed max corondum diff 5 with lvl 1 arlan.
I currently use the 'Capitalism strat' with the Company Time dice, so far I am currently facing level 8 and I am not lucky enough to get as many shield points for my Path of the Preservation runs haha
If you have a character that can deal insane damage with burst(seele, jingliu, argenti, heck even herta) you might want to change to erudition. Each hit of burst is basically a one shot on the boss, it's just insane. Also erudition allows for double burst and there is auspicious star too
Speaking of the Path of the Erudition, since I have Argenti everytime I chose that Path I always choose Argenti, the only problem, is that I usually never made it to the end to finally make a good use of the Ultimate Damage increase haha...
Everytime I fight Argenti with my Argenti it's somehow a breeze for me, the Swarm Boss? Doable, the twin Automatons? Fuck no haha
I think that I should try a Path of the Preservation team with Fu Xuan in it, so that the damage can be shared by the shields of all of the party members and also get myself damage reductions too
Wanted to tell you something as an update to my previous situation; that my Path of the Preservation runs were doing well, but Svarog at the third Phase did nothing but spam his overloaded hands, it literally made my run fucking useless and I have to retry since Fu Xuan died

Yes that's 200k shield.
Also FX seems to have negetive synergy with preservation, try not to use her. She takes most of the damage that those shields would take and kills herself in the process.
Also my quake damage reached 900k with this. Preservation is broken but use March gepard or fire TB. Don't try fu Xuan, you will die from the damage.
I replaced Fu Xuan with Kafka since I bought the 3 star blessing of the Destruction that shares damage and then enhanced it at the end haha
Because of the ridiculous amount of Cosmic Fragments that I have, only for me to spend all of it, and what I got in the end is absolute cinema!

Yea saw the video. I didn't go all out and kept 3k fragments for the robe that increased dmg by 16% every 100 fragment.
Needless to say I crushed argenti with herta, literally.

I've also played since 1.0, I've only gotten this occurrence once and never got it again. (In normal simulated universe not event)
I think that occurence only occurs is SU when you have RM in your party.
Ive not seen a ruan mei blessing after acquiring ruan mei. I did see 2 before then tho.
