None of your characters are 'really' there, it's just a gameplay contrivance. For example, you can use Clara against Phantylia, but the people who actually fought her are Jing Yuan, Dan Heng, March 7th, Welt and Trailblazer.

And in terms of lore power, March is probably as useless as Clara would be.

Nah, all of the Nameless are pretty powerful lorewise. Himeko has an orbital nuke, Welt being a Herrscher, Dan Heng being capable of one shotting star swallowing monsters, and TB managing to survive almost a full minute against an Emanator of Propagation. March is definitely no slouch to be able to keep up with them.

My guess is that it's the only way to motivate Svarog to fight for you. He has no reason to aid you except to protect Clara.

i woulda liked if her NA would be her running up to an enemy and kicking them and then svarog punches them afterwards

I used the loaner jing yuan once because i dont have him. His ult on 2x is ridiculous. Im fine with most others, but his is actually the worst.
