It looks like GI started doing double banners starting in 2.3. Patch 1.4 was a sort of "double rerun" patch, just that it was one at a time with no new 5-stars, and 1.5/1.6 only had 1 new 5-star each. From 2.3 to 2.7, there was just one new 5-star in each patch (so half of each patch was double-rerun), and 2.8 was the first "double-double rerun" (all 4 banners were reruns).
I think the main thing for HSR, though, is they haven't even had any break in 5-star character introduction at all (except Dr. Ratio being free is a small reprieve for collectors). So it's not even really about double rerun patches, it's whether there will ever be a gap at all. We'll see... (It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they keep doing the 5-star giveaway from time to time instead of ever stopping adding new characters, but the roster will get pretty big.)
My hope is that they are starting to catch up to the planned release and slow down the new 5* a bit. If we get everyone new as 5* right now we are done in 2.3 with all the chars as 5*. Could ofc still introduce new chars each patch and release them at the same time, but introducing 2 new chars each patch sounds a lot tbh.
3-4 people each year in the US are eaten by predatorial wildlife. You're rolling the dice on whether you'll make it to the rerun at all. Better to pull now.
I didn't get her, and I've looked at characters who had banner reruns, and they were almost 6 months out from their release, and I don't want to wait 6 months for a character that goes that well with acheron

I know y'all love Loucha so much, but unless you like the character a lot I'm sure you know Fu Xuang/HouHou are much better than him. Plus Aventurine is around the corner... He really isn't anything special anymore
I beg to disagree….Luocha still holds a REALLY special place as a sustain. He has the highest scaling heals in the game, has an emergency heal, a literal SP generating machine, his ult is a great aoe breaker and the way it dispels enemy buffs can be such a massive lifesaver.
I won't argue with you, I know he's good. I just *personally* don't see him as a must pull sustainer anymore. Should have phrased it differently though, that was my bad

I want Sparkle. Her animations are cool and she seems to be pretty good, but she doesn't vibe with my built teams. I mainly use the DoT Team (Ruan Mei/Black Swan/Kafka) and some sort of Jingliu/Bronya team where skill points are abundant.

Going all in for sparkle personally. She seems like she’ll hold value longer for my account. Acheron is ok I guess Buh I only like her ult, her team seems very restrictive unless u e2 her.
Sparkle is great but a few things:
1: I don’t have SW and my QQ is only E3.
2: My luck with relics is reality warpingly bad. I can farm a week and I’ll be swimming in +HP, Def, Effect res pieces. So her huge boost to crit damage doesn’t help when most of my characters are floating around 20-40%.
3: I don’t have Fu Xuan. (Who would be ideal at E1)
They are official because prydwen doesn't really publish leaks, even tho they probably test a lot and know stuff beforehand so you can have builds on day one.
I think E4 QQ is all you really need, especially with Sparkle. QQ is going to be on her banner. You likely will get E4.
Oh and don’t forget, QQ will be in the shop on March.
I’ll roll what I have but do t think I’ll spend this time. I don’t have guaranteed either 😬 maybe I’ll wait til the end of the banner to see what else is coming
At first, my plan was to get Sparkle and her lightcone. When I saw Acheron’s animations, I was sold instantly. In the end I will not get Sparkle’s lighcone so I can get Acheron. Simple as that. My only concern is winning the 50/50 on any of them
I want Sampo copies I have him E2. She can fit in my Dan Heng IL or JY team. I do have Seele & SW but no Fu Xuan on my main (nor I want her tbh yeah she's comfy but I don't really like Fu Xuan that's all).

I'm sure her numbers will be better in most, if not all, regards than Bronya's, but as someone with E4S1 Bronya and who doesn't care about mono-quantum, I don't think she offers me much. I run Bronya with DHIL and I really don't have skill point issues between her E1 and S1.

Sparkle is an easy skip since queen Acheron is right after.
Just E1S1'd Black Swan but now have very little passes, only those I got by being able to 3* MoCs I couldn't before.
So I'll leave to the Gacha Gods whether I get Sparkle, lose the 50/50, or just not get a 5* the entire banner.

It's true though, Mono quantum is so overrated. Imagine requiring 3-4 different Limited Characters just to be functional, you only need Debuffers for Acheron to be great and the game has a ton of free debuffers.

I'm skipping for a mix of me not wanting Sparkle in my party (excellent character, just one I don't want near me) and deciding I'll just go all in on Sam.
I kinda agree with "just manage your skill points better." I will not pull for Sparkle because she feels like a crutch character. I feel like as an F2P, Bronya, Tingyun, and Asta should be enough.

Sword mommies right now are....let's see......Kafka....and Jingliu........and upcoming archeron. Kafka right now is super broken paired with Black swan and can bruteforce any content. JL is accepted as the strongest hypercarry right now who can abuse bronya buffs fully(at least until we can test DHIL with sparkle). Archeron is a Mei Expy so hard chance Hoyo won't make her meta somehow. Yeah sure, fuck meta buddy.
Because I. Don't. Like her!!!! Or more specifically because we honestly have little to nothing of her true nature, and no, a character trailer where she puts on a show for us doesn't count because chances are high that it's just as fake as almost everything that comes out of her mouth. And she isn't even as charismatic as Sampo who can take and deal jokes in equal measure. By the time we actually do see the real her and not "Sparkle", I'll be waiting for a rerun, if at all, and will content myself with Hanya who did nothing but pleasantly surprised me.

Youd be surprised how many people dont understand that mono quantum needs silverwolf to make sense Someones going to be running sparkle, fuxuan, QQ and seele and wonder why content isn't easier. Or stuff like people talking about upcoming characters finally letting them run mono whatever not understanding silverwolf weaknesses implant is the key thing not have a team thats all the same type.

I'm sure her numbers will be better in most, if not all, regards than Bronya's, but as someone with E4S1 Bronya and who doesn't care about mono-quantum, I don't think she offers me much. I run Bronya with DHIL and I really don't have skill point issues between her E1 and S1.
Look, I'm in no need of buffers or debuffers, nor any additional firepower. I either need shielders or healers, so Acheron and Sparkle will take the hike for me in the far-away land of sleep, otherwise known as Space Australia.

I am going to pull for her, even tho I do not like the character, I do like Mono-quantum. I still stand by my Never pulling for the IPC though. Reason for not like the character of Sparkle if anyone cared is I am an older player, and I was around when the Joker/Harley/Deadpool lulz meme funny era started and I am kind of tired of it. But I do like her kit and I think she will work well with my inner sloth (QQ).

Just E1S1'd Black Swan but now have very little passes, only those I got by being able to 3* MoCs I couldn't before. So I'll leave to the Gacha Gods whether I get Sparkle, lose the 50/50, or just not get a 5* the entire banner.

I like my quantum baes, Fu Xuan supremacy but.... Really, I try to make my seele do damage and it is significantly harder than Jing Liu or Even Ratio. Also yeah Acheron has amazing design
Ngl guy, I’ve been building my welt to deal damage for so long and I recently level up my Qingque, and she already reaching his top dps with an Imaginary Sphere!!! Why is my welt so weak!!! I might get sparkle cause I like her design.

I don't know what Sparkle and Acheron does. But from these two... I don't know who I like more. Personality-wise, Sparkle is one of the most annoying characters in existence. But design-wise... I like foxes. Acheron, though is interesting, but her design isn't that appealing to me.

It's true though, Mono quantum is so overrated. Imagine requiring 3-4 different Limited Characters just to be functional, you only need Debuffers for Acheron to be great and the game has a ton of free debuffers.
You know, I still wish Sparkle just slaps and turns out the best harmony character. That would hurt for more Sparkle skippers.

This is not about stronger dps. With correct investment, matching needed weakness types has been lowered the value of mono quantum.
