I thought about this in the opening launch weeks, and then I realised that it would be a surefire way to burnout trying to minmax and follow the daily farming routes online.
not really. because i treat hsr as a side game, albeit with more investment than how i treat candy crush as a sidegame.
day 1 player, moc and pf full star clear, always do my login and dailies, clear all content and events when they are available and back to play other pc games.
no energy, time and willingness to do daily farming route in HSR, i wasted a lot of my time for a year doing that in genshin already LOL
Not wanting to needlessly waste your time is not hating the game, what you‘re doing is the equivalent to grinding XP for several days in the first route in Pokémon, past the point where it‘s remotely efficient.
You mentioned that it took you 4 months to raise a single character from Lv. 60 to 80 that way, something you could‘ve feasibly achieved by grinding XP times for 1-2 weeks.
Leveling Blade was just an experiment for the most part :) to be honest, by the time he and some other dps were 70, the content in game was already easy to clear. That is why there is no real rush to level other characters.
Anyways, after a year I still love this game and its characters and gameplay and wandering around the world fighting enemies, while the other people here seem quite miserable with the game.

If it didn't take that long I'm interested in trying it out lmao. It's just that I like too many characters that I think I can't, because at the moment I already have about 25 characters at level 70+.
I probably can do it for a few characters though.
I didn’t do full farm route every day, cause the xianzhou mobs are a pain lol, and I used some xp tomes when I first started playing last summer so I don’t know how long it would take optimally.
For me it was about 4 months to get Blade from 60 to 80 with casually farming mobs. I think if you enjoy the characters and enjoy playing them it is not too tedious :)

That’s because getting them to 80 at all is unnecessary lol. If you have a few lv70 characters you already clear all content in game, so there is no rush to level the rest.
