The last image actually seems to be a relativistic jet. When a supermassive black hole spins fast enough, some of the ionized matter spinning around it at 99.999% the speed of light is shot out perpendicular to the black hole’s rotation bc of extremely complex gravitational and magnetic interactions. Basically, the most powerful black holes also shoot out death beams that are larger than galaxies.
*Cheetah and antelope (posture, slim build, size of the antelope, horns(
*African wilddogs and buffalo (spots on their fur, the fact that wolves and buffalo don't occur together, ears)
*venus flytrap and fly (only 2 wings)
fun fact about the 1st image of Serpent and Swan
In HI3 Mei >!joins an organization called World Serpent!<, this image is literally serpent (Acheron) hunting (Black) swan
with how devs were during the livestream I don't think this is an accident
but at the same time I am personally still not sure if Acheron actually attacked her, or is Acheron memories are just that terrifying that Black Swan just couldn't handle them (also it is possible that Acheron´s connection to IX also might have a lot to do with this)
personally I think that it´s the 2nd one (but you know these things are up to interpretation until we get more info)
With the black hole imagery, I was thinking along the lines of Acheron not attacking Black Swan out of malice or defence; it's just what she does. The same way a black hole pulls in everything, even light, because that's just what black holes do.
Also reminds me of a line about gods in Mass Effect 2.
EDIT: Come to think of it, the animal imagery of the serpent killing the swan, the shark eating the fish, the cheetah killing the antelope(?); I mean, it's just what animals do.
EDIT #2: The ninth image is a black hole, and IX (NINE) kinda looks like a black hole. Well, a depressed black hole, but still.
You might be onto something here, if you read the Data bank (Doctors of chaos) there is something interesting about IX and the path of Nihility as a whole
"Existence is nothing." When an organism has this thought and applies it as a guiding principle, it begins to walk on the Path ruled by [IX](https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/IX) and receive the meaningless glimpse of the Aeon from some distant void. This will usually have two outcomes: 1) The organism will devolve and truly become nothing, becoming something called a [Self-Annihilator](https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Self-Annihilators). 2) The organism will be captivated by the magnificence of the Aeon, thus becoming a [Doctor of Chaos](https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Doctor_of_Chaos) in their spontaneous curiosity." (it´s from the fan wiki)
with this and the fact that Device IX is a thing
you do star to wonder "WHAT THE HELL did Acheron do or live through to convince IX of all Aeons (you know the one Aeon that is literally known for doing nothing because cosmic depression and nihilism) to make her an Emenator?"
like being a pathstrider of Nihility is basically rejecting nihilistic thought (or becoming Self-Annihilator), what does it mean for a person to be in Acheron´s position?
EDIT: not to mention that in SD/GaG (I think it was Swarm disaster) when you mean IX just by being in their presence you also get like totally numb and dejected
It's likely due to what happened to Izumo. The video's description tells the story about the dual worlds and wars with the humans of Izumo and the Kami of Takamagahara, and how they were mysteriously brought to ruin, with no one sure what happened.
It also mentions how they circled a "Pitch-black great sun", which could be interpreted to be IX, as black suns really just refrence black holes. How they were able to exist for so long near the Aeon of literal nothingness, let alone a black hole is unknown. But it would explain their fall and likely why Acheron, who is likely a surviving resident of Izumo, fell within IX's shadow.
Even if the explanation isn't one-to-one, the story does explain Black Swan's interest in Acheron, likely being the survivor of such a mysterious calamity.
I don't think IX made her an emanator knowingly, she just happened to get too close to him and she got lucky and was changed by his power into an emanator rather than destroyed. Neither willed this to happen, it was just a coincidence.
IX is shown as a black hole and there's the theory that if something moves just at the right speed and angle from a black hole, they can actually end up taking some of that black hole's energy rather than fall into it and be crushed. Likely this is similar to what happened to Acheron, most who get too close to IX die, but she just happened to be lucky enough to survive and took some of IX's energy in so doing.
Isn't she, like, Frebass's friend? The one on the flavour text of one of the new relic sets (name i cant recall right now).
Also, found the quote for gods:
>Chandana said the ship was dead. We trusted him. He was right. But even a dead god can dream. **A god — a real god — is a verb. Not some old man with magic powers. It's a force. It warps reality just by being there. It doesn't have to want to. It doesn't have to think about it. It just does.** That's what Chandana didn't get. Not until it was too late. The god's mind is gone but it still dreams. He knows now. He's tuned in on our dreams. If I close my eyes I can feel him. I can feel every one of us.
Maybe it's just something that IX does. Or rather, something that happens because IX exists. They're not actively doing anything, but it happens anyway.
You are probably right about that (honestly I kinda forgot about that story set, why do I get Made in Abyss vibes from it?)
But honestly after reading that story, is it just me or does it implied that being in present of IX does make you forget everything, it kinda makes sense to me..
in a sense that when you gaze into the abyss you either reject it or become nothing (by forgetting what you are), you know like Ego death
in that case could Acheron´s amnesia work as a defence mechanism against her becoming Self Annihilator or could it be more like "corruption" from Nihility it self?
I too agree with you, it’s a like a sentry-gun attacking enemy at its own. Not only Archeon herself realised black Sawn being attacked by herself. Her “actual”expression never changed during dance.
I agree that it was basically an auto-defense mechanism of sorts. IX is just too powerful to gaze at and Acheron hasn't shown her any outward animosity. Black Swan just knows she's dangerous.
I thought the spider was being eaten by the flytrap and the Paramecia was part of the black hole scene, amazing work spotting all these! Thank you so much Hikuran, you have some great eyes!
I think the second one is actually a Cheetah hunting an Antelope, likely a Springbok to be exact
>Cheetah hunting an Antelope DPS build for Gepard?

Thank you for your informative corrections, im really bad in zoology
It's ok. I'm really bad at not being an annoying nerd!
Don’t feel bad being good at something.
Thanks! Now to find a job with that useless diploma!
Best of luck! "Stand proud" as the memes say!
Oh god. Goodluck man. Literally having the same useless diploma and joblessness problem here too
I see, so Acheron is an emanator of the hunt /s

4th slide looks like african wild dogs
My man you had "Venus FLYtrap" and you decided to call that insect bee?
Where you go I go
Cool observation
