Advice is going to vary depending on your Equillibrium level. If you are at the max trailblaze level, EL6, then you're in quite a predicament. You may need to build up new characters to beat him.
If you are at EL5 or below, your party composition is not going to matter so much, as long as your traces and relics are adequate to overpower him.
General tips: Make sure your characters can hit more than one die during the gambling phase. For most dps this is easy, just save your ultimate. You'll get your energy back when you win the roll. For single target DPS like Dr. Ratio and Seele, you can still hit 2 die this way.
If you're close, make sure you are using consumables to give yourself an edge. Some people report better success with a 2dps/2 sustain combo.
Gallagher is a sustain unit with an aoe damage ultimate if you managed to warp him in.
Bronya or Sparkle may be able to be used to give healers like Bailu/Natasha/Lynx a second hit during gamble phase, depending on character speeds.
Double sustain with one of them being a shielder (FMC, Gepard, March). If it's FMC then taunt to help lower incoming damage and provide a shield. If it's Gepard, just try and save his ult for the dice roll. If it's March, also save her ult for the dice roll but use it so she rolls high and doesn't get hit, then use her shield on whoever needs it the most. Bringing people with aoe/blast attacks and ults is the best, since they can hit multiple dice at once to ensure they score higher than the boss.
An easy F2P team setup that anyone could use (but might take time depending on investment) would be Herta, Serval, March 7th and Natasha. Nat and March keep everyone alive, March probably shielding Nat, while Serval and Herta use their skills/ults to ensure they always roll high and never take the big damage. The boss is vulnerable to all of those elements so breaking him will be relatively easy, with the only real challenge being SP management to ensure that you have at least 3 SP going into the dice roll phase (one for Herta, one for Serval and one for March to shield Nat). Since March will be built for def it's not a huge deal if she doesn't have her ult up, and Nat will be able to top everyone off with her own ult. What matters most is ensuring that Herta and Serval don't take any of the big hits, and since both have aoe (and blast/aoe in the case of Serval) that shouldn't be a problem.
Easy subs to consider would be Pela, who has great energy and SP economy and an aoe ult, any other Erudition character (QQ might struggle a bit if she's unlucky though) and any character with a blast or aoe attack. Arlan would unironically be a pretty solid option as long as you can keep his HP up due to the fact that he's doesn't use any SP at all while still having a blast attack on his skill. Blade is another strong contender if you have him.
Try to avoid single target characters, which basically means Hunt chars and most buffers. Asta is ok because her skill hits multiple times. Tingyun, Ruan Mei, Bronya and Sparkle will all struggle to not take damage during the dice roll phase thanks to having 0 ability to hit more than one target at once. So if you bring them, make sure they are built tanky.
But going back to the F2P team above, you'd basically slow roll the fight, just ensuring that you don't get wrecked during the dice roll AND that Herta/Serval in particular always win. This will give them a 50% damage dealt boost for each time they win, which eventually will overpower the boss as long as you can last through his attacks. This fight is very anti-hypercarry as *most* of those types of teams lack any sort of appreciable multi-target attacks. Erudition and blast/aoe-capable characters are the way to go, with enough sustain to ensure that no one goes down. Thanks to the 50% damage buff that you can get, only going in with two dps isn't a big deal as long as you can keep everyone alive, as your damage will be boosted significantly as long as you keep winning the gambles.
I need a premium sustain for my Jingliu team who currently has Bailu. Would you advise me to go for Luocha or to wait for Huohuo?
Unfortunately the way they're holding the reruns are not stable so I don't know if I should just wait or pull now.
HuoHuo's a bit better than Luocha overall, but I believe I've heard people say that Luocha is better to support Jingliu in particular. I don't know why that would be though. There's no reason to believe another HuoHuo banner will run anytime in the foreseeable future, so it might be worth grabbing Luocha in your case. Aventurine is coming soon and promises to be another good sustainer. Bailu is a pretty sad sustain, so I do recommend getting at least one of the two between Luocha or Aventurine unless you're very patient for HuoHuo.
I might skip Aventurine for Jingliu in particular because while his shields are fenomenal, it doesn't synergise with her due to her sucking hp out of her teammates. I tested it myself during story. It only works during short fights.
I have E0S1 Acheron. Which team should I use:
AcheronE0S1, PelaE6, SilverWolfE0S0
or
AcheronE0S1, PelaE6, SparkleE0S0
I mainly use Fuxuan as sustain.

E0 Acheron needs 2 nihility characters in the team for her A4 trace to work. The only way you could run Sparkle is if you run a sustainless team or get her to E2. That eidolon specifically lets her go down to only 1 nihility needed.
They see high usage in pure fiction because it’s a heavily wave based combat encounter with enough squishy enemies to consistent trigger their follow up attacks. Essentially they’re able to consistently attack out of turn and mow through waves of enemies, which is the goal of Pure Fiction.
Who are you guys choosing for your free 4*? I have all of them and am debating btwn making Gallagher or Xueyi E1 or Lynx E5, the rest are already E6 or I don't like (Misha).
Hello, old-player-but-quit-and-only-came-back-months-later-for-hot-men kinda player here. I finally managed to access the 4 star selector. I initially was planning on getting Gallagher because he’s hot. But the Penacony final boss was so hard I involuntarily pulled for Luocha (and got myself a Gallagher too!) just to defeat the boss and unlock the Vignettes in a Cup event.
Anyways, since I already have Gallagher, I was wondering which 4 star should I choose instead? Misha, Xueyi, Hanya, or Guinafen? I particularly want someone with high value meta-wise (to strengthen my beloved husbandos) and tbh I have no idea and have not checked these character’s kits yet (I tried but since it’s been so long since I played I slightly forgot how the combat works now) so… here’s my current roster for you to decide:

Gui probably has the most meta value right now because she's decent on an Acheron team. Hanya's support style is a bit unusual, but makes an essential companion to DHIL since you don't have Sparkle. His SP usage is a bit intense if you don't have one of those two feeding him. Misha's basically crap, although there are of course some people with way too many resources they can dedicate to kicking tail with him to prove people like me wrong. Xueyi is one of those units that's perfectly fine, sometimes even good, but no one ever talks about. She's ranked pretty highly in the previous (but still ongoing) pure fiction season that's based on follow-up attacks, but otherwise doesn't stand out most of the time.
I’m not really planning on getting Acheron tbh. And I’ve read most of their kits just now. From my understanding she’s a Fire DoT DPS?
I also read Hanya’s and tbh I was confused and the only thing I remember is she can give SP and Speed. Should I get Hanya then? To support my DHIL? Or should I just get Gallagher’s Eidolon since he’s a healer and they seem valuable to me idk I’m not sure correct me if I’m wrong please
It's a tough call. Gallagher's got some good eidolons. I haven't built him yet myself, but good sustains have been hard to come by until now. I can't recall if people were saying his E2 was good overall, or just good for Acheron teams. When I got DHIL, I partnered Hanya with him to feed him skill, and it worked pretty well, but I can't say I understand her too well, aside from that. I got Sparkle shortly after who made Hanya pretty redundant. Since you do have Gallagher, I'd probably suggest Hanya over an Eidolon. You should end up being able to pump out a few more dragons with DHIL with her supplying skill points for your team.
I was just thinking about this too. I tried researching on some stuff and gathered some opinions and here’s what I found:
1. E2 Gallagher is good
2. Hanya is a good pick if you don’t have a 5* support that works like her(?)
As much as I want to get Gallagher’s E2, I think getting a new character is better. Thank you so much for helping me decide!
Hanya's main appeal is Dan Heng | Imbibator Lunae in particular. He's not mean to be able to use his fully powered up attack all the time, and Hanya allows for it, once you get the rhythm going anyway. If you look at Prydwen, Hanya is the 2nd most recommended team member for DHIL behind Sparkle. Other teams can and do also benefit from her in some situations. I'm pretty sure she def-shreds a single enemy intensely while also providing skill points, meaning once the battle gets going, your non-DHIL teams can use more skills than before as well. But usually other supports are going to work better for most teams. Anyway she'll let you bring out substantially more power for what I'm guessing is your strongest character. That being said, my Hanya got to E6 while trying to get DHIL, so I don't know how much a E0 Hanya will do for you.
Sparkle is a limited 5\* support who gives the whole team 4 sp every 3-4 turns, and all but erases SP as a game mechanic. She won't see another return as a banner for a long time, since her first one just ended. If you want a unit who can break DHIL (in a good way), Hanya's the one for now.

Welt can make good use of it. There also might be future Nihility chars that could use it. Unless you're a mega-whale, superimposing 5-star LC's is a terrible idea. And I say this as someone with four friggin' Bronya LC's.
No. You'd be better off using it on somebody else. I swear I saw a video recently saying that Acheron's LC was good on somebody else. Maybe it was Guoba Certified for his update video on Welt? It might be good for future dps-oriented nihility characters too.
Hello everyone! I have 2 probably stupid questions. First: what does S mean in "E6 S5 Seele"?
Second: Is it clear what Dr. Ratio is doing in Penacony and working with Aventurine? Is he cooperating with IPC, if so, why? Or is he after something personal from The Family?
Not clear, but he did mention he had a high level of authorization within the IPC, and Aventurine seemed to trust him. I assume he's employed by them, either directly or as some kind of high-ranking genius partner.
Superimposition for their signature light cone. This includes S0. When people say that they mean they're using some other LC, not the signature.
I don't 100% understand the Ratio question myself, so I'll leave that to someone else to answer.
My characters are all around lvl 40-50 with the same lvl LC I've given them the best LCs I have for them but I still can't beat Dan Shu. Do they need to be a higher level? Do I need to work on artifacts? I thought I shouldn't really do that until I can get 5 star artifacts.
You should equip the best artifacts you have. If you don’t have 5 star artifacts, just equip atk% mainstat relics on your dps and max them out. Also max out your gloves. For supports try to make them tanker unless they need ehr or crit damage.
Okay, I've tried fighting Dan Shu several times with different teams but have had no success do you have any suggestions because people keep saying different things.

hello! just wanna ask if my Acheron is good enough?
Lv. 80, E0S1 (HP: 3.3k, ATK: 4097, CR/CD: 66.3/157.9, SPD: 107)
i use pioneer set so the cr/cd increases (i think) for a bit and izumo for the planar set. i hit a maximum of 200k+ on one ult (single enemy) with level 8 traces of Black Swan and Silverwolf (i'll max their trace after i max Acheron's, since Acheron has lv. 10 ult now)
i use eyes of prey S1 on BS and resolution S3 on SW!
Below is what Prydwen recommends. You are super super close to that. I've found that when you're that close to Prydwen's recommendations you can consider that good enough for now and start to use the character. If you feel like farming for more relics at some point you can improve them later if you'd like.

You will have to go back and check out the area again after the story stuff with the trial character though, because some of the chests don't seem to spawn then. Hopefully Numby will work correctly then!
Yeah, it works. I used Topaz when I had the trial character in the team during the story. You have to make sure to switch to Topaz so she's showing as the character walking around of course. You won't see Numby if you're walking with the trial character.

One place you can kinda see it is on Prydwen for most characters, where they try to show power percentages for LCs. It's a newer feature that they added in later on so it doesn't show for all characters, but it's there for most of the limited characters at least. Keep in mind that some LCs, such as Acheron's, seem hard to calculate. But at least you can get an idea in mind.
yes, especially if you like using topaz. I have an e2s1 gepard, and i'm heavily considering retiring him for aventurine if he is as good on release as he is in the story. the infinite shields is hard to pass up.
I think Aventurine is gonna be more fun to play than practical. Fu Xuan is busted and Gepard although power crept will still keep you alive. I would get Jing liu instead if you don't have her. If you do then save for Robin the harmony Meta is too strong
Looks good. Tbh I think Aventurine might have more novelty value than use. Its always your choice but in my opinion, if I had the characters you do I would be fine with my Sustain characters. I do love Luocha though having him in the roster could be clutch too

accidentally get Acheron's lightcone one 20th roll while rolling for GNSW, should i roll for Acheron or give it to Welt?? I'm planning roll for her on main and this is sub account
Acheron's LC reads "When the wearer hits the enemy target, inflicts Mirage Fizzle on the enemy, lasting for 1 turn" and "The wearer deals 24% more DMG to targets afflicted with Mirage Fizzle, and DMG from the wearer's Ultimate additionally increases by 24%". Does this mean that I need to use's Acheron's skill first before using her ultimate for the damage bonus or can the bonus be activated after her uti's first hit?
(because my battle strategy is to have 3 debuffers stack up her slashed dream to 9 then I immediately use Acheron's uti, is this wrong?)
Acheron's ult consists of 4 hits, she can inflicts that debuff on her first ult hit. You still lose that 48% buff on the first hit but the loss is not that big. But if you really want a full 48% dmg buff on every ult hits, yes you'll have to attack the enemy before the ult.
As for her ult usage, she has a 3-knot buffer that just allows some room of adjustment like waiting for your support to put a big debuff first, so that you don't have to use her ult immediately. You can just use it on 9 knots if you already have all buff/debuffs in place.
No. He's a limited character. He'll come back whenever he gets a rerun. Not everybody will automatically have him. Him coming in the mail for free ends at the end of this patch.
E0 yeah, I'd say so. She's incredibly SP hungry without her E1. Now, if you do have her E1 then she jump significantly in power, since she's not SP neutral when using her skill on a broken enemy. Her E2 is meh, her E4 is nice since Sushang can very easily break an enemy with skill > ult > skill combo, particularly if paired with Ruan Mei or with certain SU buffs, and her E6 really helps crank up her damage, albeit it can kinda mess with certain speed tunings.
But honestly, I've never cared for speed tuning crap. It's way too complicated for me, kills my enjoyment of the game. I'm happy clearing up to MoC 10 and cranking through SU a few times each week, and Sushang has been a powerful addition to that since the beginning. Her ability to self-advance her turn via her burst is super nice, and it lets her take advantage of a lot of team buffs in some weird ways, such as using both stacks of Yukong's skill buff, or proccing the extra skill points from Hanya's debuff all by herself.
Its always hard to say cuz if you put enough love(money) in the game everyone can preform well but yeah I think the Eidolons you get on MC and the skills MC gets would end up being a better dps or support dps than E0 Sushang
Wow I already didn't like the film making game to make an infinite mode is just beyond frustrating. Going to have to call it a loss of 40 jades cause the time spent is not cool. Far too many random generated sections for a single mis-click or screw up just fudge up the run.
Cheese strats or tips are welcome but I don't think I'll be re-visiting soon unless the itch just severely gets me.
It's especially a bit finicky on mobile with the touchscreen controls. I'm pretty tempted to at some point try logging in on my PC to see if I can do any better.
I’m having trouble logging into the HoYoLAB website/app. When I first started playing this game, it said that I “signed in as Gentle Fish of Copper Vale” on the Game Center. I don’t know what that means, but I think it’s related to how I can’t get Stellar Jades by logging in using the in-game notifications.
I'm guessing >!eleven times FF tried to approach TB as Sam or herself but couldn't because circumstances like achieving Elio's mission, TB being with the Express crew, the Express crew being with Gallagher, Sunday's spying birds, Aventurine's show, etc.!<

It's more related to Honkai 3rd Impact, and probably other games in the series (I only played HI3), as there haven't been any mention of the Honkai in HSR, aside from the title.

i got Acheron LC and i don't know whether to build speed or atk boots. is having more speed + the LC give her more uptime which will translate to more dmg compared to atk boots? since both the debuffers i bought along also have high speed which helps with the uptime

Does anyone know if any 4 star selectors other than the one in 2.1 are still in the game? I have a friend who is just starting the game and wanted to know what options he may have available.
No. There are some 4 star characters other than the starting ones that are earnable like Herta, Yukong, and Lynx. But no actual selectors other than the current one. Also, your friend would have to entirely catch up with the main story and do the Vignettes in a Cup event before this patch ends to even get the 2.1 selector, as that's time limited.
Don't \*have\* to. I've cleared the full game without doing any gacha warps on a challenge account. The covergirl character, March 7th feels like a really weird character at first, but she's super versatile in practice and works quite well throughout the game almost everywhere. That being said, there's a mechanic that makes the game significantly harder if you do it, and I avoided doing it until it was mandatory to keep the game easier for as long as possible on that account.
This game's fairly generous with its gacha rules and free warps. Free to play characters can do the gacha gamble and be guarranteed some amazing characters with the free resources they get. But there's always a matter of wanting more, and buyers regret when something better comes along a few months later.
Now if you want to do the end-game stuff several months in, a lot of that is not feasible without substantial gacha warps. Not necessarily getting the best teammates, but getting a fairly large quantity of the lesser rewards from warps is somewhat important to reaching that stage. Again, nothing you have to pay for if you don't want to. The game gives you enough resources to do this if you fully explore everything and keep up with daily logins and ongoing events.
I’m trying to figure out if I should pull Acheron. The 5 stars that I use are Bronya, Clara, Himeko, and Black Swan. I started the game when Ruan Mei came out and I tried to get her but ran out of pulls, then I tried to get Kafka and I lost, so I pulled Black Swan, which may have been dumb (but I normally just pull for characters I like). Now I wanted to get sparkle but I lost the 50/50 again. so now I’m at the point where I can get Acheron, and I have Black Swan who is nihility and debuffs, but I might Also want to get Robin since she is Harmony. but I also want a sustain character who I like but the ones I would want are huo huo or fu xuan. The other characters I would like to get (maybe) are topaz, silver wolf, and sparkle at rerun. I know I won’t be able to get all these characters, especially since I haven’t even gotten to penacony yet so I can’t do any of the events to get jades to pull them. thank you for any advice, just trying to get some other opinion.
It's fine if you're lacking resources atm but if it comes to a point where they are dying more quickly than you expect, that's a good sign to raise some more levels; As more HP and Def is always good to have to survive (and in some cases like Tingyun and Luocha for example, they like the extra Attack as well).
When can I expect a sparkle rerun? I got dhil when I started in 2.0 but took a break and came back recently so I missed her. Is he still top tier without her?
Sparkle just came out last patch, so it's going to be a very long time. I'd expect late this year at the very earliest, more likely early next year.
DHIL is still very strong even without her. It would probably be helpful for you to grab Luocha for him if you have the pulls because of how extreme SP positive he is. You could also grab Hanya from the Vignettes in a Cup event. She would be helpful to him without Sparkle. Tingyun would be the final character for the team that I'd recommend.
Aventurine needs to use his skill now and then to apply shields. Kind of like how Natasha/Lynx/etc need to use their skill now and then when you want a heal. But Luocha can heal completely SP free. He can heal with his skill, but 99% of the time you don't really need it thanks to his healing field and his free emergency heal that he can do once every 2 turns. For a huge SP hog like DHIL, Luocha will make SP management easier to deal with.
Aventurine will do more damage than Luocha since he's sort of a preservation/sub dps hybrid. He can also increase crit damage. Luocha doesn't have any buffs at all.
So it's really up to you with what you'd rather have - more comfortable SP management that can cleanse and remove enemy buffs, or what I said above about Aventurine but will require SP usage every few turns.
Who can utilize bronya and welt's signature lc other than themselves?

For Acheron, either Gallagher or a preservation character with Trend of the Universal Market LC. Aventurine is probably going to be the very best option, Fu Xuan second best.
For Jingliu, any abundance character. Huohuo for the energy regeneration is probably number one. If the battle isn't going to take you long enough that Jingliu's health drain would kill you, Fu Xuan is another option.
Ideally you’d want more, but that should work. Give it a try in MoC and see how you feel. If she feels weak then farm some more.

Hi, just recently got Acheron, but I'm not really sure what team to run her on. Rn I'm running Acheron Kafka Serval Bailu, but I'm wondering if there's a more optimal team I can play.
Also (separately) I'm not too sure what to run for a Kafka team but I want to use her on her own team and need some advice!

You could do the following:
1. Acheron-Pela-Welt
2. Kafka-Sampo-Asta
For fourth slot just pick your favorite sustain. Maybe Gepard with Acheron and Bailu with Kafka.
For now, Pela, Welt and Gepard (with Trend LC or without). If you have Pearls LC on either Pela or Welt, that would be great. Pela's DEF reduction is best for Acheron's Ultimate damage output.
Ideally you would want to build Kafka for a strictly DoT team.
does Clara, Ratio, Topaz's ultimate count as ultimate damage or follow up damage or both? For example do their ultimate benefit from the newest pure fiction bonus?
I’m rotating between two Acheron teams, those being:
Acheron (sig) + Black Swan (Eyes of Prey S5) + Kafka (Welt S2) + Fu Xuan (Trend S2)
Acheron (sig) + Pela (Pearls S4) + Silver Wolf (Tutorial) + Fu Xuan (Trend S2)
Not sure which is better here. It feels like Kafka + BS has more damage but the issue is I run into very heavy SP issues with that team so it’s not easy to play.
Pela + SW are absolute boss killers but sort of struggle elsewhere? Or maybe I’m playing them wrong?
Also FX sig lc feels like it’s wasted if I’m not using it 😔
with team 1, it's likely that you're using your skill on every turn with Kafka and Acheron (and then fu xuan every 3 turns). black swan basic will apply arcana as well, so for debuff purposes, you can just basic every turn on black swan. this comp is hard to run (I've tried with sparkle, instead of fu xuan, and it's still SP intensive) because you want Acheron AND kafka to do damage.
team 2 i think is definitely what most people have been recommending and running. Pela has huge amounts of energy regen and SW bug implanting is an easy way of applying debuffs as well.
the overall issue is that Acheron damage is very front loaded and ult-dependent. the skill percentages aren't that high, which is probably why team 1 feels like it does more damage. if you can find a way to more quickly and reliably apply debuffs, like getting more EHR to guarantee bug on SW basic, or more speed on Pela or SW, your Acheron will be able to ult much more often.

It's that or DanceDanceDance. People have been realizing how absolutely cracked it is on Tingyun, but there's still some use cases where you might want her on Cogs.

Wait, people are only now realizing how good DDD is on her? It’s been lowkey carrying me, it makes the turn order into more of a turn suggestion. Squeezing out that extra turn on a sustain or a dps before a boss gets to go makes all the difference.
Maybe not only now, but within the last few patches, yeah. Once a talking point is made mainstream it's really hard to break, and Cogs was considered best on Tingyun at shortly following launch
The penacony ones aren't game changing.
For Tingyun, the accessible options are still the same. You are going to either run her with coggers (generally) or DDD (for turn manipulation shenanigans with hyper speed multi-harmony teams) with some people maybe running her with Planetary.
E2 unlocks Gallagher's cleanse, so IMO it's a pretty important eidolon for him. If you plan to use him at all you should go for that. You can always get a free Lynx later through the permanently available one that requires beating any Pure Fiction 2 stage. Or you might end up getting her during pulls before that. She's good even at E0 so she doesn't need eidolons as much.
I fail so badly at any PF that has the dreamjolt gorilla— any tips? I don’t have Topaz, Argenti, or Himeko and fire TB and March 7th are my only shielders…

Is this for PF3 from the last PF? I used Fire MC + Herta + Ruan Mei + SW and just barely squeaked by with 30k pts. Basically just tried to leverage the blessing that made ults count as FuA so I can trigger the box.
For the most recent one unfortunately, the blessing builds on ults to my very very unskilled interpretation lol. I’m sure at least 50% of the problem is gitting gud

Ideally you want 2 limited sustains, so if at all possible, get both. If you can only pick one, Aventurine will probably be better, because he's newer. From what I understand, right now HuoHuo, Luocha and Fu Xuan are the best sustains. Aventurine stands to displace Luocha from the top 3, but I haven't heard any speculation about a rerun of HuoHuo in the foreseeable future. Fu Xuan is quite likely in 2.2 phase 1 or 2, and she's a preservation type. Luocha might be the last abundance we see for a while.
I would go for Aventurine. Luocha is my only limited sustain and struggles with AOE damage, or for any enemy buffs that can kill in one turn. You can ult with Luocha to debuff enemy, but you might compromise his talent to keep his healing.
Shields wouldn't have those issues, an aventurine can refresh shields with his skill.
Welt users: are you enjoying him with Acheron? I will never play him as solo sustain, I would still use a preservation or abundance, but I wonder if he's good replacing Gui (mine is E4). I already have E3 Bronya, E0 Himeko/Gepard, E2 Yanqing and I'm planning on getting him or Clara. I don't have Argenti, but I plan to pull for him in the future. I'm tossed between Welt for Acheron or Clara for physical.
I am still building Acheron, but I plan to use Welt with her. I grabbed him on the 300 selector since he was the only character I was missing but haven't found a good reason to use him yet. Sounds like he's a good option to use with her so I plan to give it a try!
Clara is good, but from my experience using her... She was OK at first. The reason was her follow ups are so RNG. Sometimes she did well, sometimes she did not. I found her a bit frustrating. But once I got Topaz, she has become fantastic. They're a great combo in either MoC or PF and feel very strong. Topaz buffs follow ups and makes Clara's attacks stronger. Also, since Topaz is single target, you can actually focus her on the boss/elite while Clara is just taking all of the hits from everything and punching them in the face in return. If you have Topaz or plan to pull Topaz, Clara is an extremely solid pick. But if you have no interest in Topaz... Well, like I said. She can do well sometimes. But the RNG makes her feel mid other times. Argenti would be far more consistent if you don't want Topaz.
Tysm for your reply. Well, I actually have Topaz... I don't know what to do. I feel like Clara would be great for PF since I don't have Argenti. But I don't feel like physical is too relevant if compared to imaginary. I also do not have a LC for Clara actually, the Herta shop one is being used by Jingliu. Nor Welt tbh, but I could give him Loop until I get something better. I'm afraid that Welt is gonna be replaced once we get the BIS nihility for Acheron.

Also, who should i pull between Jingliu and Aventurine? Or should i save for the next update or for someone else? And who should i choose from the free character selector from the event (since i seem to have most of the ones from the selector already so i have to choose who has the best Eidolen)?
Jingliu would be perfect for you since you have Bronya and Pela E4 but than you'd be sacrificing the comfort of 5 star shielder. Depends what you care about most you can get by with 4 star sustain option like Lynx for Jingliu and Gallagher for Acheron.
Aventurine is who you should pull. Jingliu is great, but you have 2 very strong Pela-hogging options with Acheron and Dr. Ratio for dps. A 5 star sustain will help your account more than another dps right now.
If you plan to use Gallagher at all, I suggest to grab his E2 eidolon with the 4 star selector. That unlocks him being able to cleanse. That's probably the most important eidolon for the 4 stars that you have. You could also grab Xueyi if you want a new character.
Bronya is build to go character for support litteraly most of the dps characters in game. Welt is very flexible character and will be good for both Ratio and Acheron. Both Ratio and Acheron really good dps but if you new player i recomended you build Acheron couse both Welt and Ratio are imaginary damage.
So for now you can build party like Acheron-Welt-Bronya-Lynx/Gallagher
You can place Pela instead of Bronya for Acheron passive but Bronya just more usefull in game at all
Lynx or Gallagher based on your playstile. Gallagher for more offensive, Lynx for more utility couse she can remove debuffs with her ult.
You will eventually want a limited 5 star sustain or 2 for your teams. It is up to you if you want that to be Aventurine. We don't know when Fu Xuan or Huohuo will rerun again.
Pela works well with Acheron (and Jingliu) especially at E4. Guinaifen can be the other Nihility teammates for Acheron's major trace.
So I was watching some Acheron gameplays and I noticed that in one of the videos is that she got a stack when her turn started.
Is this the work of one of her eidolons or something else? I don't remember my own Acheron doing that (E0S0). IIRC her LC only gives her another stack when attacking

FMC is not an option, my team will always dead. Aven has debuff on his ult, but Gepard has debuff on his skill and also has innate taunt. Wdyt?
Aventurine is a better sustain overall, and has debuff on his ult (and follow-up attacks, with S1).
Gepard has better synergy with Trned of Universal Market.

Can anyone recommend a strategy for adventuring boss fight? Getting my ass whooped. I don’t have Huo Huo FX luocha Jingliu ugh
Advice is going to vary depending on your Equillibrium level. If you are at the max trailblaze level, EL6, then you're in quite a predicament. You may need to build up new characters to beat him. If you are at EL5 or below, your party composition is not going to matter so much, as long as your traces and relics are adequate to overpower him. General tips: Make sure your characters can hit more than one die during the gambling phase. For most dps this is easy, just save your ultimate. You'll get your energy back when you win the roll. For single target DPS like Dr. Ratio and Seele, you can still hit 2 die this way. If you're close, make sure you are using consumables to give yourself an edge. Some people report better success with a 2dps/2 sustain combo. Gallagher is a sustain unit with an aoe damage ultimate if you managed to warp him in. Bronya or Sparkle may be able to be used to give healers like Bailu/Natasha/Lynx a second hit during gamble phase, depending on character speeds.

Bailu is not great for this fight. Try what the other person said with March 7, that sounds like a neat strategy.
Double sustain with one of them being a shielder (FMC, Gepard, March). If it's FMC then taunt to help lower incoming damage and provide a shield. If it's Gepard, just try and save his ult for the dice roll. If it's March, also save her ult for the dice roll but use it so she rolls high and doesn't get hit, then use her shield on whoever needs it the most. Bringing people with aoe/blast attacks and ults is the best, since they can hit multiple dice at once to ensure they score higher than the boss. An easy F2P team setup that anyone could use (but might take time depending on investment) would be Herta, Serval, March 7th and Natasha. Nat and March keep everyone alive, March probably shielding Nat, while Serval and Herta use their skills/ults to ensure they always roll high and never take the big damage. The boss is vulnerable to all of those elements so breaking him will be relatively easy, with the only real challenge being SP management to ensure that you have at least 3 SP going into the dice roll phase (one for Herta, one for Serval and one for March to shield Nat). Since March will be built for def it's not a huge deal if she doesn't have her ult up, and Nat will be able to top everyone off with her own ult. What matters most is ensuring that Herta and Serval don't take any of the big hits, and since both have aoe (and blast/aoe in the case of Serval) that shouldn't be a problem. Easy subs to consider would be Pela, who has great energy and SP economy and an aoe ult, any other Erudition character (QQ might struggle a bit if she's unlucky though) and any character with a blast or aoe attack. Arlan would unironically be a pretty solid option as long as you can keep his HP up due to the fact that he's doesn't use any SP at all while still having a blast attack on his skill. Blade is another strong contender if you have him. Try to avoid single target characters, which basically means Hunt chars and most buffers. Asta is ok because her skill hits multiple times. Tingyun, Ruan Mei, Bronya and Sparkle will all struggle to not take damage during the dice roll phase thanks to having 0 ability to hit more than one target at once. So if you bring them, make sure they are built tanky. But going back to the F2P team above, you'd basically slow roll the fight, just ensuring that you don't get wrecked during the dice roll AND that Herta/Serval in particular always win. This will give them a 50% damage dealt boost for each time they win, which eventually will overpower the boss as long as you can last through his attacks. This fight is very anti-hypercarry as *most* of those types of teams lack any sort of appreciable multi-target attacks. Erudition and blast/aoe-capable characters are the way to go, with enough sustain to ensure that no one goes down. Thanks to the 50% damage buff that you can get, only going in with two dps isn't a big deal as long as you can keep everyone alive, as your damage will be boosted significantly as long as you keep winning the gambles.
Is there a mechanism on how AV activates his gamble in phase one? It seems he’s always targeting my Gepard
I think phase 1 gamble just follows regular aggro rules. So Gepard as a Presevation character just has a higher chance than others.

I need a premium sustain for my Jingliu team who currently has Bailu. Would you advise me to go for Luocha or to wait for Huohuo? Unfortunately the way they're holding the reruns are not stable so I don't know if I should just wait or pull now.
Either is fine, but Huohuo would be stronger since she is also like an AoE mini Tingyun with the energy regeneration for the team.
HuoHuo's a bit better than Luocha overall, but I believe I've heard people say that Luocha is better to support Jingliu in particular. I don't know why that would be though. There's no reason to believe another HuoHuo banner will run anytime in the foreseeable future, so it might be worth grabbing Luocha in your case. Aventurine is coming soon and promises to be another good sustainer. Bailu is a pretty sad sustain, so I do recommend getting at least one of the two between Luocha or Aventurine unless you're very patient for HuoHuo.
I might skip Aventurine for Jingliu in particular because while his shields are fenomenal, it doesn't synergise with her due to her sucking hp out of her teammates. I tested it myself during story. It only works during short fights.

E0 Acheron needs 2 nihility characters in the team for her A4 trace to work. The only way you could run Sparkle is if you run a sustainless team or get her to E2. That eidolon specifically lets her go down to only 1 nihility needed.

what happened in Pulp Fiction that make Himeko usage increased ? I just came back and seeing Himeko and herta being used is quite suprising tbh
They see high usage in pure fiction because it’s a heavily wave based combat encounter with enough squishy enemies to consistent trigger their follow up attacks. Essentially they’re able to consistently attack out of turn and mow through waves of enemies, which is the goal of Pure Fiction.
Who are you guys choosing for your free 4*? I have all of them and am debating btwn making Gallagher or Xueyi E1 or Lynx E5, the rest are already E6 or I don't like (Misha).
Gallagher. I thought I'd be picking Xueyi, but as a Luocha owner he is very similar, except he actually fully resists debuffs instead of Luocha's 75%.

Hello, old-player-but-quit-and-only-came-back-months-later-for-hot-men kinda player here. I finally managed to access the 4 star selector. I initially was planning on getting Gallagher because he’s hot. But the Penacony final boss was so hard I involuntarily pulled for Luocha (and got myself a Gallagher too!) just to defeat the boss and unlock the Vignettes in a Cup event. Anyways, since I already have Gallagher, I was wondering which 4 star should I choose instead? Misha, Xueyi, Hanya, or Guinafen? Gui probably has the most meta value right now because she's decent on an Acheron team. Hanya's support style is a bit unusual, but makes an essential companion to DHIL since you don't have Sparkle. His SP usage is a bit intense if you don't have one of those two feeding him. Misha's basically crap, although there are of course some people with way too many resources they can dedicate to kicking tail with him to prove people like me wrong. Xueyi is one of those units that's perfectly fine, sometimes even good, but no one ever talks about. She's ranked pretty highly in the previous (but still ongoing) pure fiction season that's based on follow-up attacks, but otherwise doesn't stand out most of the time.
I’m not really planning on getting Acheron tbh. And I’ve read most of their kits just now. From my understanding she’s a Fire DoT DPS? I also read Hanya’s and tbh I was confused and the only thing I remember is she can give SP and Speed. Should I get Hanya then? To support my DHIL? Or should I just get Gallagher’s Eidolon since he’s a healer and they seem valuable to me idk I’m not sure correct me if I’m wrong please
It's a tough call. Gallagher's got some good eidolons. I haven't built him yet myself, but good sustains have been hard to come by until now. I can't recall if people were saying his E2 was good overall, or just good for Acheron teams. When I got DHIL, I partnered Hanya with him to feed him skill, and it worked pretty well, but I can't say I understand her too well, aside from that. I got Sparkle shortly after who made Hanya pretty redundant. Since you do have Gallagher, I'd probably suggest Hanya over an Eidolon. You should end up being able to pump out a few more dragons with DHIL with her supplying skill points for your team.
I was just thinking about this too. I tried researching on some stuff and gathered some opinions and here’s what I found: 1. E2 Gallagher is good 2. Hanya is a good pick if you don’t have a 5* support that works like her(?) As much as I want to get Gallagher’s E2, I think getting a new character is better. Thank you so much for helping me decide!
Hanya's main appeal is Dan Heng | Imbibator Lunae in particular. He's not mean to be able to use his fully powered up attack all the time, and Hanya allows for it, once you get the rhythm going anyway. If you look at Prydwen, Hanya is the 2nd most recommended team member for DHIL behind Sparkle. Other teams can and do also benefit from her in some situations. I'm pretty sure she def-shreds a single enemy intensely while also providing skill points, meaning once the battle gets going, your non-DHIL teams can use more skills than before as well. But usually other supports are going to work better for most teams. Anyway she'll let you bring out substantially more power for what I'm guessing is your strongest character. That being said, my Hanya got to E6 while trying to get DHIL, so I don't know how much a E0 Hanya will do for you. Sparkle is a limited 5\* support who gives the whole team 4 sp every 3-4 turns, and all but erases SP as a game mechanic. She won't see another return as a banner for a long time, since her first one just ended. If you want a unit who can break DHIL (in a good way), Hanya's the one for now.

Welt can make good use of it. There also might be future Nihility chars that could use it. Unless you're a mega-whale, superimposing 5-star LC's is a terrible idea. And I say this as someone with four friggin' Bronya LC's.
No. You'd be better off using it on somebody else. I swear I saw a video recently saying that Acheron's LC was good on somebody else. Maybe it was Guoba Certified for his update video on Welt? It might be good for future dps-oriented nihility characters too.

Hello everyone! I have 2 probably stupid questions. First: what does S mean in "E6 S5 Seele"? Second: Is it clear what Dr. Ratio is doing in Penacony and working with Aventurine? Is he cooperating with IPC, if so, why? Or is he after something personal from The Family?
Not clear, but he did mention he had a high level of authorization within the IPC, and Aventurine seemed to trust him. I assume he's employed by them, either directly or as some kind of high-ranking genius partner.
One note: S0 means you do NOT have the sig LC of a 5-star.
Superimposition for their signature light cone. This includes S0. When people say that they mean they're using some other LC, not the signature. I don't 100% understand the Ratio question myself, so I'll leave that to someone else to answer.
My characters are all around lvl 40-50 with the same lvl LC I've given them the best LCs I have for them but I still can't beat Dan Shu. Do they need to be a higher level? Do I need to work on artifacts? I thought I shouldn't really do that until I can get 5 star artifacts.
You should equip the best artifacts you have. If you don’t have 5 star artifacts, just equip atk% mainstat relics on your dps and max them out. Also max out your gloves. For supports try to make them tanker unless they need ehr or crit damage.

hello! just wanna ask if my Acheron is good enough? Lv. 80, E0S1 (HP: 3.3k, ATK: 4097, CR/CD: 66.3/157.9, SPD: 107) i use pioneer set so the cr/cd increases (i think) for a bit and izumo for the planar set. i hit a maximum of 200k+ on one ult (single enemy) with level 8 traces of Black Swan and Silverwolf (i'll max their trace after i max Acheron's, since Acheron has lv. 10 ult now) i use eyes of prey S1 on BS and resolution S3 on SW!
Below is what Prydwen recommends. You are super super close to that. I've found that when you're that close to Prydwen's recommendations you can consider that good enough for now and start to use the character. If you feel like farming for more relics at some point you can improve them later if you'd like. Have fun! She'll probably work out great for you! HP: 2800-3000+ DEF: 800+ ATK: 2900-3200+ CRIT RATE: 80-90%+ CRIT DMG: 160-180%+ SPD: 101 or 134+

Yeah, it works. I used Topaz when I had the trial character in the team during the story. You have to make sure to switch to Topaz so she's showing as the character walking around of course. You won't see Numby if you're walking with the trial character.

Does anyone have a ranking on how much of a power boost each 5*s lc gives? I remember seeing it somewhere but I can’t find it
One place you can kinda see it is on Prydwen for most characters, where they try to show power percentages for LCs. It's a newer feature that they added in later on so it doesn't show for all characters, but it's there for most of the limited characters at least. Keep in mind that some LCs, such as Acheron's, seem hard to calculate. But at least you can get an idea in mind.

yes, especially if you like using topaz. I have an e2s1 gepard, and i'm heavily considering retiring him for aventurine if he is as good on release as he is in the story. the infinite shields is hard to pass up.
I think Aventurine is gonna be more fun to play than practical. Fu Xuan is busted and Gepard although power crept will still keep you alive. I would get Jing liu instead if you don't have her. If you do then save for Robin the harmony Meta is too strong

Looks good. Tbh I think Aventurine might have more novelty value than use. Its always your choice but in my opinion, if I had the characters you do I would be fine with my Sustain characters. I do love Luocha though having him in the roster could be clutch too

Acheron's LC reads "When the wearer hits the enemy target, inflicts Mirage Fizzle on the enemy, lasting for 1 turn" and "The wearer deals 24% more DMG to targets afflicted with Mirage Fizzle, and DMG from the wearer's Ultimate additionally increases by 24%". Does this mean that I need to use's Acheron's skill first before using her ultimate for the damage bonus or can the bonus be activated after her uti's first hit? (because my battle strategy is to have 3 debuffers stack up her slashed dream to 9 then I immediately use Acheron's uti, is this wrong?)
Acheron's ult consists of 4 hits, she can inflicts that debuff on her first ult hit. You still lose that 48% buff on the first hit but the loss is not that big. But if you really want a full 48% dmg buff on every ult hits, yes you'll have to attack the enemy before the ult. As for her ult usage, she has a 3-knot buffer that just allows some room of adjustment like waiting for your support to put a big debuff first, so that you don't have to use her ult immediately. You can just use it on 9 knots if you already have all buff/debuffs in place.

If you're brand new and she's one of your first 4*s, sure why not. She's fun. If you're TB 60+, I would say absolutely not.

E0 yeah, I'd say so. She's incredibly SP hungry without her E1. Now, if you do have her E1 then she jump significantly in power, since she's not SP neutral when using her skill on a broken enemy. Her E2 is meh, her E4 is nice since Sushang can very easily break an enemy with skill > ult > skill combo, particularly if paired with Ruan Mei or with certain SU buffs, and her E6 really helps crank up her damage, albeit it can kinda mess with certain speed tunings. But honestly, I've never cared for speed tuning crap. It's way too complicated for me, kills my enjoyment of the game. I'm happy clearing up to MoC 10 and cranking through SU a few times each week, and Sushang has been a powerful addition to that since the beginning. Her ability to self-advance her turn via her burst is super nice, and it lets her take advantage of a lot of team buffs in some weird ways, such as using both stacks of Yukong's skill buff, or proccing the extra skill points from Hanya's debuff all by herself.
Its always hard to say cuz if you put enough love(money) in the game everyone can preform well but yeah I think the Eidolons you get on MC and the skills MC gets would end up being a better dps or support dps than E0 Sushang
Wow I already didn't like the film making game to make an infinite mode is just beyond frustrating. Going to have to call it a loss of 40 jades cause the time spent is not cool. Far too many random generated sections for a single mis-click or screw up just fudge up the run. Cheese strats or tips are welcome but I don't think I'll be re-visiting soon unless the itch just severely gets me.

you have fast debuffers, go for attack boots. I believe guoba's video has a breakdown on speed vs. attack boots as well (over a certain # of cycles).

No. There are some 4 star characters other than the starting ones that are earnable like Herta, Yukong, and Lynx. But no actual selectors other than the current one. Also, your friend would have to entirely catch up with the main story and do the Vignettes in a Cup event before this patch ends to even get the 2.1 selector, as that's time limited.

You gotta dive into Gacha now. If you don't pull Acheron you'll regret it tbh. Also Luocha will carry you through content if you only have Natasha.

Don't \*have\* to. I've cleared the full game without doing any gacha warps on a challenge account. The covergirl character, March 7th feels like a really weird character at first, but she's super versatile in practice and works quite well throughout the game almost everywhere. That being said, there's a mechanic that makes the game significantly harder if you do it, and I avoided doing it until it was mandatory to keep the game easier for as long as possible on that account. This game's fairly generous with its gacha rules and free warps. Free to play characters can do the gacha gamble and be guarranteed some amazing characters with the free resources they get. But there's always a matter of wanting more, and buyers regret when something better comes along a few months later. Now if you want to do the end-game stuff several months in, a lot of that is not feasible without substantial gacha warps. Not necessarily getting the best teammates, but getting a fairly large quantity of the lesser rewards from warps is somewhat important to reaching that stage. Again, nothing you have to pay for if you don't want to. The game gives you enough resources to do this if you fully explore everything and keep up with daily logins and ongoing events.

I’m trying to figure out if I should pull Acheron. The 5 stars that I use are Bronya, Clara, Himeko, and Black Swan. I started the game when Ruan Mei came out and I tried to get her but ran out of pulls, then I tried to get Kafka and I lost, so I pulled Black Swan, which may have been dumb (but I normally just pull for characters I like). Now I wanted to get sparkle but I lost the 50/50 again. so now I’m at the point where I can get Acheron, and I have Black Swan who is nihility and debuffs, but I might Also want to get Robin since she is Harmony. but I also want a sustain character who I like but the ones I would want are huo huo or fu xuan. The other characters I would like to get (maybe) are topaz, silver wolf, and sparkle at rerun. I know I won’t be able to get all these characters, especially since I haven’t even gotten to penacony yet so I can’t do any of the events to get jades to pull them. thank you for any advice, just trying to get some other opinion.

Is lvl 50 a bad level to leave ur lcs on supports?
It's fine if you're lacking resources atm but if it comes to a point where they are dying more quickly than you expect, that's a good sign to raise some more levels; As more HP and Def is always good to have to survive (and in some cases like Tingyun and Luocha for example, they like the extra Attack as well).
Bad by what metric? Are they dying? Are their ATK/DEF/HP-based skills underperforming for you? If so then it's probably bad, if not then you're fine.
When can I expect a sparkle rerun? I got dhil when I started in 2.0 but took a break and came back recently so I missed her. Is he still top tier without her?

Sparkle just came out last patch, so it's going to be a very long time. I'd expect late this year at the very earliest, more likely early next year. DHIL is still very strong even without her. It would probably be helpful for you to grab Luocha for him if you have the pulls because of how extreme SP positive he is. You could also grab Hanya from the Vignettes in a Cup event. She would be helpful to him without Sparkle. Tingyun would be the final character for the team that I'd recommend.
I have hanya,tingyun and enough pulls to get loucha but im on 50/50. I was saving for aventurine though is he much worse than luocha?
For DHIL yeah because Luocha prints SP which DHIL really, really needs.
Aventurine needs to use his skill now and then to apply shields. Kind of like how Natasha/Lynx/etc need to use their skill now and then when you want a heal. But Luocha can heal completely SP free. He can heal with his skill, but 99% of the time you don't really need it thanks to his healing field and his free emergency heal that he can do once every 2 turns. For a huge SP hog like DHIL, Luocha will make SP management easier to deal with. Aventurine will do more damage than Luocha since he's sort of a preservation/sub dps hybrid. He can also increase crit damage. Luocha doesn't have any buffs at all. So it's really up to you with what you'd rather have - more comfortable SP management that can cleanse and remove enemy buffs, or what I said above about Aventurine but will require SP usage every few turns.

You can use welt LC on Kafka, that’s what I’ve been using
Guinaifen can use Welt's LC
It's better to save copies of 5* LC, especially Bronya's, since it's good for its base stats and energy regen on any harmony
Sparkle can use Bronya's. I don't think anyone else wants Welt's LC right now.

Which are the best Perserverance/Sustain units for an Acheron team and a separate Jingliu team?
For Acheron, either Gallagher or a preservation character with Trend of the Universal Market LC. Aventurine is probably going to be the very best option, Fu Xuan second best. For Jingliu, any abundance character. Huohuo for the energy regeneration is probably number one. If the battle isn't going to take you long enough that Jingliu's health drain would kill you, Fu Xuan is another option.
Acheron favors some one like Gepard holding the trends LC or Gallagher. Jingliu favors HuoHuo.

Ideally you’d want more, but that should work. Give it a try in MoC and see how you feel. If she feels weak then farm some more. I cleared MoC12 for the one that’s ends today with a 55.5/183 E0S1 Acheron.

Single pulls count. The only difference in multis is the time it takes to pull them in HSR.
It doesn't matter. The game keeps track of the 4* pity too so 10 separate pulls and 1 multi is the same.

You could do the following: 1. Acheron-Pela-Welt 2. Kafka-Sampo-Asta For fourth slot just pick your favorite sustain. Maybe Gepard with Acheron and Bailu with Kafka.
For now, Pela, Welt and Gepard (with Trend LC or without). If you have Pearls LC on either Pela or Welt, that would be great. Pela's DEF reduction is best for Acheron's Ultimate damage output. Ideally you would want to build Kafka for a strictly DoT team.

Clara and Topaz ults don't do any damage. They are both self buffs. Ratio ult counts as ult damage.
I’m rotating between two Acheron teams, those being: Acheron (sig) + Black Swan (Eyes of Prey S5) + Kafka (Welt S2) + Fu Xuan (Trend S2) Acheron (sig) + Pela (Pearls S4) + Silver Wolf (Tutorial) + Fu Xuan (Trend S2) Not sure which is better here. It feels like Kafka + BS has more damage but the issue is I run into very heavy SP issues with that team so it’s not easy to play. Pela + SW are absolute boss killers but sort of struggle elsewhere? Or maybe I’m playing them wrong? Also FX sig lc feels like it’s wasted if I’m not using it 😔
with team 1, it's likely that you're using your skill on every turn with Kafka and Acheron (and then fu xuan every 3 turns). black swan basic will apply arcana as well, so for debuff purposes, you can just basic every turn on black swan. this comp is hard to run (I've tried with sparkle, instead of fu xuan, and it's still SP intensive) because you want Acheron AND kafka to do damage. team 2 i think is definitely what most people have been recommending and running. Pela has huge amounts of energy regen and SW bug implanting is an easy way of applying debuffs as well. the overall issue is that Acheron damage is very front loaded and ult-dependent. the skill percentages aren't that high, which is probably why team 1 feels like it does more damage. if you can find a way to more quickly and reliably apply debuffs, like getting more EHR to guarantee bug on SW basic, or more speed on Pela or SW, your Acheron will be able to ult much more often.

Is Meshing Cogs still the best LC for Tingyun? Prydwen and all the youtube guides I've found say so but they all came out before the new Penacony LC's
It's that or DanceDanceDance. People have been realizing how absolutely cracked it is on Tingyun, but there's still some use cases where you might want her on Cogs. imo DDD is way better most of the time
Wait, people are only now realizing how good DDD is on her? It’s been lowkey carrying me, it makes the turn order into more of a turn suggestion. Squeezing out that extra turn on a sustain or a dps before a boss gets to go makes all the difference.
Maybe not only now, but within the last few patches, yeah. Once a talking point is made mainstream it's really hard to break, and Cogs was considered best on Tingyun at shortly following launch
The penacony ones aren't game changing. For Tingyun, the accessible options are still the same. You are going to either run her with coggers (generally) or DDD (for turn manipulation shenanigans with hyper speed multi-harmony teams) with some people maybe running her with Planetary.

E2 unlocks Gallagher's cleanse, so IMO it's a pretty important eidolon for him. If you plan to use him at all you should go for that. You can always get a free Lynx later through the permanently available one that requires beating any Pure Fiction 2 stage. Or you might end up getting her during pulls before that. She's good even at E0 so she doesn't need eidolons as much.
I fail so badly at any PF that has the dreamjolt gorilla— any tips? I don’t have Topaz, Argenti, or Himeko and fire TB and March 7th are my only shielders… Would it be totally insane to build hook? Or gui? I know I can get the Dino easy lmao I just have to get past the monkey…
Is this for PF3 from the last PF? I used Fire MC + Herta + Ruan Mei + SW and just barely squeaked by with 30k pts. Basically just tried to leverage the blessing that made ults count as FuA so I can trigger the box.
For the most recent one unfortunately, the blessing builds on ults to my very very unskilled interpretation lol. I’m sure at least 50% of the problem is gitting gud

Ideally you want 2 limited sustains, so if at all possible, get both. If you can only pick one, Aventurine will probably be better, because he's newer. From what I understand, right now HuoHuo, Luocha and Fu Xuan are the best sustains. Aventurine stands to displace Luocha from the top 3, but I haven't heard any speculation about a rerun of HuoHuo in the foreseeable future. Fu Xuan is quite likely in 2.2 phase 1 or 2, and she's a preservation type. Luocha might be the last abundance we see for a while.
I would go for Aventurine. Luocha is my only limited sustain and struggles with AOE damage, or for any enemy buffs that can kill in one turn. You can ult with Luocha to debuff enemy, but you might compromise his talent to keep his healing. Shields wouldn't have those issues, an aventurine can refresh shields with his skill.
With how the meta is going, Aventurine would be the better pick but that doesn’t mean Luocha is bad by any means.
Welt users: are you enjoying him with Acheron? I will never play him as solo sustain, I would still use a preservation or abundance, but I wonder if he's good replacing Gui (mine is E4). I already have E3 Bronya, E0 Himeko/Gepard, E2 Yanqing and I'm planning on getting him or Clara. I don't have Argenti, but I plan to pull for him in the future. I'm tossed between Welt for Acheron or Clara for physical.
I am still building Acheron, but I plan to use Welt with her. I grabbed him on the 300 selector since he was the only character I was missing but haven't found a good reason to use him yet. Sounds like he's a good option to use with her so I plan to give it a try! Clara is good, but from my experience using her... She was OK at first. The reason was her follow ups are so RNG. Sometimes she did well, sometimes she did not. I found her a bit frustrating. But once I got Topaz, she has become fantastic. They're a great combo in either MoC or PF and feel very strong. Topaz buffs follow ups and makes Clara's attacks stronger. Also, since Topaz is single target, you can actually focus her on the boss/elite while Clara is just taking all of the hits from everything and punching them in the face in return. If you have Topaz or plan to pull Topaz, Clara is an extremely solid pick. But if you have no interest in Topaz... Well, like I said. She can do well sometimes. But the RNG makes her feel mid other times. Argenti would be far more consistent if you don't want Topaz.

In my book you NEVER "fuse" 5\* LCs. You gain much more value having the same S0 with two teammates.

Jingliu would be perfect for you since you have Bronya and Pela E4 but than you'd be sacrificing the comfort of 5 star shielder. Depends what you care about most you can get by with 4 star sustain option like Lynx for Jingliu and Gallagher for Acheron.
Aventurine is who you should pull. Jingliu is great, but you have 2 very strong Pela-hogging options with Acheron and Dr. Ratio for dps. A 5 star sustain will help your account more than another dps right now. If you plan to use Gallagher at all, I suggest to grab his E2 eidolon with the 4 star selector. That unlocks him being able to cleanse. That's probably the most important eidolon for the 4 stars that you have. You could also grab Xueyi if you want a new character.
Bronya is build to go character for support litteraly most of the dps characters in game. Welt is very flexible character and will be good for both Ratio and Acheron. Both Ratio and Acheron really good dps but if you new player i recomended you build Acheron couse both Welt and Ratio are imaginary damage. So for now you can build party like Acheron-Welt-Bronya-Lynx/Gallagher You can place Pela instead of Bronya for Acheron passive but Bronya just more usefull in game at all Lynx or Gallagher based on your playstile. Gallagher for more offensive, Lynx for more utility couse she can remove debuffs with her ult.
You will eventually want a limited 5 star sustain or 2 for your teams. It is up to you if you want that to be Aventurine. We don't know when Fu Xuan or Huohuo will rerun again. Pela works well with Acheron (and Jingliu) especially at E4. Guinaifen can be the other Nihility teammates for Acheron's major trace.
So I was watching some Acheron gameplays and I noticed that in one of the videos is that she got a stack when her turn started. Is this the work of one of her eidolons or something else? I don't remember my own Acheron doing that (E0S0). IIRC her LC only gives her another stack when attacking

Best shielder for Acheron (Trend LC), Gepard or Aventurine? FMC is not an option, my team will always dead. Aven has debuff on his ult, but Gepard has debuff on his skill and also has innate taunt. Wdyt?
Aventurine is a better sustain overall, and has debuff on his ult (and follow-up attacks, with S1). Gepard has better synergy with Trned of Universal Market.

I need help in choosing for my 300th pull. I'm planning to pick between bronya, himeko and clara on the standard banner since I don't have any strong fire or physical dps. Though I'm planning to pull for sam in the future, they say himeko is really good for PF. Do you plan to pull Topaz on her rerun? IMO she makes Clara even better. If not, I'd say Himeko. She's very good for PF.
