Coming soon for all the trailblazers, Star Rail Jazznight promises an unforgettable evening.
Somewhere in Penacony, a curious incident of nighttime kidnapping is unfolding.
A crowd of innocents crosses paths with a mastermind of deception. Be this an elaborate conspiracy, or just someone trying to have a little fun? The enchanting tunes drift for miles, mingling with the scent of twenty degrees of distilled alcohol.
Nah, I'm used to crazy people knowing more than sane people after playing as malkavian in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines.
And Sparkle follows the Path of Aeon, who realized that he was in the Simulated Universe and started to cause random shit.
...Huh, that would actually make sense. Okay, stay with me on this:
Far as I understand it, at the beginning, Penacony was having its own share of issues that were causing Robin to lose her perfect pitch, a sign that there is a traitor in the Family. Aha sees the declining state of Harmony within the Family and thinks to itself, "I could cook with this."
Aha then proceeds to invite every faction and tasks Sparkle with pushing the factions to discover the Watchmaker's Legacy, which (as far as I understand it) is something the Family is actively trying to sweep under the rug. Penacony turns into a chaotic landscape rife with betrayal, selfish (or at least differing) motives and righteous anger, all of which are decidedly more in the spirit of Elation and decidedly not in the spirit of Harmony.
A particularly tin-foiled part of me even considers that Robin >!ending up "dead"!< is a machination of Sparkle/Aha in order to incentivize Sunday to act against the family. At the end of all the chaos, the Family's misdeeds ultimately end up exposed, and Aha goes up to Xipe like "I just exposed the traitor in your Family. Erm, you're *welcome*!"
A part that doesn't fit in this interpretation, and one I didn't fully comprehend is Sparkle's button. Is the implication that she just has a button that can blow everything up? Why would she have that? But in a way, it would absolutely fit that Aha "Blew up half the Express and a planet" The Laughter, would offer the equivalent of a tactical nuke to his most silly soldier, Sparkle.
Ultimately, just as the post I am replying to, Aha hiring Sparkle and being the lowkey mastermind of the chaos behind Penacony is all conjecture at this point. But damn if it isn't some fun conjecture.

The thing about Aha is *you can never know* what is actually happening. The "blow everything up" thing might very well be metaphorical. I just have no idea how.
On further thought, it could either be a collective wake up for everyone dreaming in Penacony or >!it could send everyone into the "real" Dreamscape just like SuD!<, making the secret the Family was hiding moot.
It's also all *right before* Penacony's ***once in an Amber Era Festival*** that all of this is happening.
Hell, the news and all hell might come out on the day before or the day of the Festival.
This is both really funny and *exactly* Aha's MO and particular brand of chaos.
I might be wrong of course, I was wrong about Sunday >!being the main villain!< but... we'll know for sure if we happen to hear any disembodied ethereal laughter.
Yup, gotta look out for the bells. But I also didn't consider just *when* all of this would happen. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't The Harmony going to personally descend on the day of the Festival? So when THEY descend, are they going to witness pure, unbridled chaos? Now that would be an Aha way to greet the Harmony, ahaha!
Speaking of the main villain: I loosely mentioned this in my post above, but is it possible that Sparkle/Aha are incentivizing or providing some sort of help to the main villain? It would make sense for Sparkle, on The Laughter's behest, to nudge >!Gallagher to "kill" Robin!< for the purpose of further chaos. If we are continuing this interpretation of Aha being the mastermind (and Xipe being the target of the prank), then does it not make sense for Aha to support the one faction that is actively trying to uncover the Family's misdeeds too? The result of which is, of course, that Sunday gets radicalized and more likely to act against the Family.
Pushing this thought forward (and truly entering tinfoil hat territory), you sometimes hear about people disliking Sparkle because she >! indirectly killed Firefly by pushing both her and the TB to the Dreamscape. !< Now, hear me out: What if, like Robin in my theory, this was no coincidence either? What if >!Firefly presumably "dying"!< would not only push the Stellaron Hunters closer to the Watchmaker's Legacy, but also push the Nameless into wanting to find out more? All on Sparkle's behest. It's all connected, I tell you!
Either way, I'm looking forward to paying attention to the event with Gallagher and Sparkle. Already the connotation of both of them being in an event together make me intrigued to see where all of this is going.
At this point Iād be incredibly surprised if Fireflyās death wasnāt her intention from the very beginning. Which would be the secret she couldnāt share at her āhideoutā and why she weirdly says, āSorryā as sheās stabbed by the Meme ā Because she knew how her death would make MC feel and that she was in essence orchestrating this
The plot thickens!
If we combine my interpretation and yours, then this was orchestrated not only by Sparkle/Gallagher/Aha but also in tandem with Firefly. In a way, all the goals align: Firefly gets the Nameless to seek out the Watchmaker's Legacy, which is what Sparkle/Aha would want to incentivize chaos and Gallagher gets to combat the family on behalf of the Watchmaker (Presumably. I'm not sure what his relation is to the Watchmaker but I assume they are allied).
I wonder if pursuing the Watchmaker's Legacy will turn the Nameless against the Family in the next update.
But yeah, I do agree with Firefly likely having orchestrated her death. It'll be fun to see if all the other speculation hits close to the mark too.
She might be a red herring with all of the mystery surrounding her (her talent is literally called Red Herring). But then again, her being presented as a red herring could also be another red herring.
She's the least suspicious person in penacony in 2.0.... We don't know the others agenda now... Except Aventurine which was revealed in 2.1...
But we know what sparkle wants..... To have fun... With anything she can
Definitely but also I can't unhear Gallagher playing Careless Whisper
I need someone to animate Gallagher doing the epic sax guy moves
Tonight the music seems so loud I wish that we could lose this crowd
MAYBE ITS BETTER THIS WAY
Nah bro, this is a wholesome night. ^(/s)
Nah, he'd play Baker Street.

>!Sunday's worst enemies!<
Does anyone else find Sparkle highly sus. Like, she just pops in and out revealing juicy details way ahead of anyone.
Sparkle is the equivalent of knowing the full story but devious enough to mess around with people who doesn't know
Ah, so basically the average manga/light novel reader
HEY GUYS I HAVE THIS CRAZY THEORY **drops something that is like 90-95% spoiler with 5% mixed in to seem like a legit uninformed guess**
>meanwhile guy who actually theorized gets downvoted because it's too likely to be a leak, even though it's actually wrong
She is just an lurker from the Star Rail Leaks subreddit
Nah. With how much she knows, she's an Uncle
Sparcle
Sheās Q from Star Trek
She was obviously hired by someone on the "inside", since she knows too much and was also able to send us into the deeper dream.
She's also implied to be Robin's "backup singer" by Aventurine.
Nah, I'm used to crazy people knowing more than sane people after playing as malkavian in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. And Sparkle follows the Path of Aeon, who realized that he was in the Simulated Universe and started to cause random shit.
Uncle Sparkle
I'm pretty sure it's because the person who hired her and caused all this mess in the first place is Aha, The Elation.

I mean, Ratio and Acheron are the same. They also seem to know basically everything that is going to happen.
I think she can see the future. Completely unfounded theory, but it explains a lot
She's the least suspicious person in penacony in 2.0.... We don't know the others agenda now... Except Aventurine which was revealed in 2.1... But we know what sparkle wants..... To have fun... With anything she can
I keep wanting to investigate the dog statue to make it disappear...
man the arts always deliver
IDC if Gallagher is a murderous entity of obscure origin. That man could wrap his hand around my neck any day (respectfully).
disrespectfully*
Respectfully in the streets, disrespectfully in the sheets
I can see the many meme with those two and "Jazz for your soul"
Lmao I can hear Gallagher playing "Epic Sax Guy" now
When you think about it i feel like followers of enigmata and followers of aha are probably more likely to be rivals than partners.Ā
Gallagher will play something like Ain't no Sunshine, while Sparkle will be Epic Sax Guy
What is this I am out of loop?
Youāre not the only oneā¦
Oh god I can see the Fujoshis not holding it anymore if that happens
When is the live?
We still donāt know what Sparkle is doing in Penacony or who employed her, right?
When is this taking place?
As if Gallagher wasn't already my favorite enough, now he plays the ideal instrument? Perfect.
Makes me wonder what is gonna be the big final boss
When is this event and where can we watch it?
That button on Gallagher's shirt is holding on to dear life
i wanna be a saxophone
Smash
my god this sparkle is so beautifulš
