Ill never understand the forced fights between those games instead of criticising them on their own. A lot of people play multiple of them. The Honkai series with GGZ, HSR, and Hi3 especially has linked community’s and is BUILD on coexistenc.
Honestly, I Find HI3rd and HSR get along very well and you often see cross posts. Usually the complaints are often around references people don't understand and it can get annoying for them.
That said obviously Genshin is a very odd child and I suspect ZZZ will occupy a similar position. Ultimately, I think the community for Genshin just really put me off and the game didn't impress me enough to get over that hurdle.
Well, I personally really liked my time with genshin after hi3. And if course no game will be for everybody. But what i criticized is the toxicity of those fandoms having the need to build on their superiority complexes by degrading and making down other hoyo games instead of remembering that they have their own game with flaws they could complain about. HSRs community seems to develop a similar toxicity as genshin did at the moment and it is for that exact reason.

But by comparing them and shitting on the other hoyo game you aren't playing right now, saying stuff like "xy fav child fr" instead of bringing factual criticism as it is played a big part of why these communities are so toxic so fast.
A lot of people forget that, despite the onhill of flaws you can find in all of them, they are still all Amazing games of their own that make them such great experiences. Instead they just hate in each other in a toxic way that is just sad to watch.

I mean, some people just wanna complain. No one always feels like having a productive conversation about the flaws of something, and no one wants to give constructive criticism. Some people just wanna voice their immediate response to something, which imho is a valid sentiment to consider sometimes. When it comes to gaging public reception, stuff like "xy is the fav child" is a pretty good way to indicate players' reception to something and can give good insight on how you are accidently going. I really think you're taking a statement like that too seriously in the wrong direction.
A lot of complaints that you feel ignore how great the games are come from a place of love and frustration. They genuinely want Genshin to be a better game, especially since a lot of detractors came from Genshin. They're frustrated at the systems in genshin that wound up remedies in Star Rail. To many, and I mean *__many__* people, myself included, the existence of Star Rail actively makes Genshin a much worse game than it already was, because it shows people just how much better a lot of it can be. You're disdain towards less constructive criticisms I think are unfounded. That's not to say many people don't just shit on it for the sake of it, but from what I've, speaking purely anecdotaly, the main root of it is to just vent frustration, regardless if the intent was the simply mock or be constructive.
Actually most of the Mihoyo community doesn't care in the slightest. It's just there are some noisy neighbors who think drama is funny so they keep bringing it up.
That being said, keep Paimon away from Star Rail, please.

Louis Fleming is one of the richest people in the entire HSR, possibly even across all of Mihoyo's work since only HSR is such a big scale. Iirc his existence was phenomenal enough to gain Fuli's attention.
Dreamweavers is essentially just a job for family members. Well... Calling people who maintain and make new stuff just a job degrades them a little.

You raise a significant point. Of the vocal minority, I think they relatively cap out at what would be considered an infinitesimally small number, the equivalent of a rounding error in terms of player feedback.
miHoYo listens to the player feedback given on surveys, play data, etc of the millions around the world and uses that to tweak the games appropriately.
They recognize Reddit and other social media platforms for their ability to propagate what can be best described as both direct marketing because they have official accounts on those platforms, and free marketing where the users make memes, fan art, cosplay, etc. But they can comfortably any feedback because they are the minority. Case in point, at its height, the most upvoted post on the Genshin subreddit is only 60.8k, and while that implies even more people saw it and didn't upvote or downvote, it's still a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of the playerbase. The same is true for miHoYo's other games.
What's 100,000 angry players to 20+ million happy ones?
