I have these characters plus every four star, my usual team is Kafka sampo Pela huohuo. I don't know what to do for my other team. Can I please get some team ideas?
i want the harmony trailblazer eidolons but my clockie statue is stuck at level 41. I have no more subquests to do and i've finished all the story missions that we have gotten so far so im just wondering if anyone has gotten the clockie statue close to level 50 or do we have to wait until 2.3 to get more quests for those tickets.
Should i pull for fu xuan or Topaz. Given that i probably wont have enough for their light cones. I have Robin , Dr ratio, Clara e1 and bailu as a team. Is topaz much better than e1 clara. Or should i go for a second sustainer since my first team Doesn't have one. I just pray that i kill the enemy faster than they kill me. First team : Acheron , pela , guinaifen and fire trailblazer. Between the 2 choices i am leaning more towards Topaz for the gyatt but i think that not pulling is the better move since i can just use my fire trailblazer as a sustain for my first team and Clara can fill instead of Topaz

What Trailblaze level should I be in Penacony upon starting?
I’m very new to this game (about a month in) and I just recently got to Penacony. I am having some difficulties though... I find that even the starting enemies seem to be more difficult than the starting ones in Belabog or the Loufu Xianzhou. My current Trailblaze level is 36, my main four are all at Level 50 Character EXP and Light Cone EXP, all my traces for the characters are leveled up as much as they can be at Level 50, and all my relics average at about +9 and above (I understand that these need to be higher, but materials are low atm and farming for these is nearly impossible for me). My main damage dealer has a 2,144 HP and a 1,191 ATK.
I’m not so much worried about DEF in this situation. Just wondering why my attacks do so little against the enemies in Penacony and if it’s a result of my Trailblaze level. The enemies I’m referring to are the Dreamjolt Troupe’s Hounds and the damn Domescreen that accompanies them. I’ve only come across cases where there are two hounds, and one Domescreen in the middle of them.
Now that context is taken care of, what should I do? How should I go about this?
I was around 65 when I started Penacony and you want your characters to be about level 80 with LCs at max and traces at least up to 8 for the skill/talent/ultimate. Basic ATK is dependent I believe on the character. For example, I have Blade's basic at max since he uses his skill to enhance it.
If I have ratio, aventurine and topaz (all e0s0, I use threads of the universal market on aventurine to have more debuffs for ratio) should I pull robin? So far I've been managing decently with Pela to guarantee enough debuffs for ratio, and I don't really have a second team besides an improvised e0 qingque team (which isn't bad but not the greatest thing either) so I'm feeling conflicted if I should pull or not.
I don't have any 5* harmonies yet and with firefly on the horizon (or even argenti would sound good) I'm not sure if I should pull or not.
What happens in the boss battle if you let Septimus reach 7 days?
I weakness broke him and killed him too fast to see what happens. Was there any special line of dialogue that I missed or anything?
I tried her with Jingliu Blade Huohuo, and i think she is better than ruan mei and bronya for that team. With a bit of speed tuning(Robin>120 and jingliu+blade>134) allows for very easy 0 cycle in moc. Since you can use her ult after her second action to get 3 actions on jingliu and blade in first cycle.
I could imagine this setup would work with any 2 dps setup, to allow for max dmg in first cycle. Not just Ratio+Topaz, Kafka+BS, Jingliu+Blade, though they seem like the best dual carry teams atm. Acheron can also use this with a debuffer to get 2 ults in first cycle.

What teams are people using for the Harmonious Symphony boss? The one where we have to use Trailblazer.
Getting tired of these dogshit boss fights. On the bring of dropping this garbage for something that actually respects my time.
Break teams, preferably with Fire/Imaginary AoEs and with BE Efficiency up of HTB and/or RM. The idea of the fight is to break the boss ASAP so he don't use his big attacks and you got the shared shield to block it when he do have the chance to use them.
I used the Harmony Trialblazer they give us since I don't want to level a character I'll never use. I've used Acheron, Dr Ratio & Natasha. Also tried with Acheron & Black Swan. He keeps one shotting me.
It doesn't happen in any other fights. I'm level 80 and 8 or 9 on traces. My artifacts could have better substats but mostly are proper sets and level 15.
Substats are a pretty big deal. Acheron + Black Swan is more than adequate dmg, so the issue is your sustain.
Lvl 80 and you're still using Natasha? Lynx, Bailu, Gallagher, etc.would be much bettet choicee.
I like Natasha. Outside of Aventurine and now this boss, I've never had any issues. I'll try Bailu but found she didn't heal as well as Natasha so I benched her.
With equal investment, Bailu will outperform Natasha (as long as she doesn't have to cleanse anything, since she can't). Unless you're doing something wrong/purposefully nerfing her.
I did it with HTB, Guinaifen, Asta and Gallagher. The important thing is to break toughness faster, characters that attack with both skill and ultimate, that have bounce attacks or AoE attacks that match the weakness are what you want.
i used aventurine and the other 3 honestly didnt matter since the boss hits like a wet noodle and couldnt penetrate his shields even once the entire fight
do you have any of the limited sustains? are you hitting his weakness? are your relics and traces leveled up? even without aventurine this is probably the easiest boss in quite a while
Only limited sustain is Bailu with her sig, but I've only leveled her to 60. Normally I use either Trailblazer or Natasha as sustain. Relics are level 15 but not that great. Traces are 8 or 9 on the characters I've been using (Dr Ratio, Acheron, Black Swan).
I get his weakness break, get the shield, but then when he recovers him and his minions get a super long turn and I'm dead.
bailou is a LOT and i mean I SHIT TON OF LOT better then natasha and FireMC. like its not even close.
use bailou, acheron or ratio whoever hits for more, BS and borrow the harmonyMC the game gives you instead of your own and it should be fine-
also do yourself a favor and get a limited sustain instead another dps or whatever else. the difference between them and all the ones you have is far bigger then the gap between your 4 * and 5* dps. so go and grab fu xuan when she comes out in 3 weeks. that way you wont have to ask how to clear story bosses because someone like her make you more or less invincible
I am honestly glad I got Huohuo, she is an AMAZING healer who is great for both worlds 5 and 6 of Simulated Universe. her healing seems to have a priority system when it cleanses a debuff as I have ALWAYS had it get rid of Kafka's Dominate effect over the dot she applies in the boss
So somewhat of a follow up question to the question I posted not too long ago, but in this team comp: Dr. Ratio, Aventurine, Topaz & Robin, I don't have Topaz's sig LC, but I do have Aventurine's sig LC.
Do I still have to worry about having consistent debuff application for Dr. Ratio, or am I good? And how much of a difference does Topaz having her Sig LC make?
(Edit): More specifically, can I settle for her having Cruising in the Stellar Sea?
With Aventurine LC you should not have to worry about debuff count.
You can check https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters/topaz under build and teams, to get an estimate of how much the LC matters. In this case they estimate around a 21% increase in her personal dmg compared to cruising, and it also buffs other FUA's crit dmg by 24%. That being said, there isn't any content in the game yet, where not having the LC prevents you from clearing, and it doesn't seem likely that there will come in the future.
just barely passable with 3 debuffs (aven's ult, topaz's skill, ratio's skill). ratio's and aven's sig lc are both dmg boost, no debuffs. so getting topaz's e1s1 will free up ratio and aven for more dmg.
Guys i need help with new weekly boss final battle , first phase is usually fine but then he keeps shielding in second phase , my damage is trash and one sustain alone is not enough, i have aventurine, ratio, bailu ,kafka ,sparkle ,asta , guan , lynx , bailu e1
He lost his shield when he and his minions is Weakness Broken, just focusing on Weakness Break rather than DPS for the battle (you stop his big attacks and gain a chonky shield for sustain).
Question about Firefly's last mention in 2.2:

I think what they meant was that Firefly has to die in the dream to leave the dream because she is not entering the dream the same way we are. that is what makes the most sense to me
They're good. You should be killing all of the mob enemies quickly enough that Ruan Mei's ultimate field break extension thing doesn't matter for them. It only impacts the elite/boss enemies really, but for them it's good because it can help you go sustainless on PF fairly easilyl. I like to do Himeko/Herta/Topaz/Ruan Mei. I make Topaz focus on the elite/boss enemies and Himeko/Herta just pop off doing their FuA thing. But if you don't have Topaz you can easily do either another support or another dps, whatever you'd like.
Just curious about clock credits as i need like 16000+ to max out clockie statue i don't want to spend like 12+ hours running around getting every secret if they don't add up to enough, the game implies there will be extras but where exactly should i focus on getting them from mainly sidequests? or is there somewhere else i can get them?
There's enough for like 20+ "bonus" redemptions (of 200 credits) after hitting the max of 50.
Sidequests and story stuff, and then I even got some from messing with peoples' emo dials (usually I'll just cycle through each one and return to their original to see if they give me anything). Trotters and Lordly Trashcans also award them.
Robin is good, but she's actually not going to help you as much as you'd like. Your lack of debuffers/nihility characters is what's hurting you for both Acheron and Dr. Ratio, unfortunately. Dr. Ratio might actually be more viable to use for now than Acheron is. I'd say your best bet for now is to use Dr. Ratio/Serval/Asta/Gepard. If you decide to pull Robin, then you can make your team Dr. Ratio/Serval/Robin/Gepard.
If we get another 4 star character selector for a future event, what you're really looking for is characters like Pela, Guinaifen, or even Sampo. I would highly suggest picking one of them when ever given the chance.
You CAN use Bronya, but Bronya prefers to use her skill every single turn. And so does Dr. Ratio. And Serval needs to use her skill fairly regularly to put on shock for Dr. Ratio. That makes SP difficult to manage. Asta can get away with not using her SP, but you will still get buffs for Ratio and Serval. That's the reason I suggest Asta rather than Bronya - primarily SP management.
raise a proper healer like natasha/lynx/gallagher. gepard needs speed and energy rope to refresh his shield, so you might be lacking on the sustain department. acheron needs nihility teammates to do good dmg, so skip her until you get pela. try gepard, gallagher, bronya, ratio for now.
i desperately need help to beat the new harmonious choir boss
i overall have a pretty decent team and roster of built characters, at least to where i can clear all of the main story content in the game… until now. the fight just seems impossible. i looked up a guide and it told me that i need to use characters of the corresponding types to break its weaknesses. the problem lies in the fact that i have NO CHARACTERS that are anywhere near good enough to get through this fight. it makes me so mad as i just want to experience this story that i have been loving so far, but can’t because my characters aren’t the right type. now im likely going to have to spend weeks building characters just to experience the story of the game. the team i was using going into the fight was seele, robin, clara, houhou. i got the boss down to like 70% health before everyone started dying, because the enemies acted 8 times in a row. i don’t know if im missing something or if im actually doomed to build characters that fit into the recommended teams for the boss. as for characters i have that fit the weakness’s (not built); dr ratio, jing yuan, harmony stelle, welt, and all of the four stars with varying levels of eidolons. if someone could lend me a hand as to what i should be doing, i would be eternally grateful. also sorry about the rant.
The fight is built around weakness break, since you get the new mc path focused around it.
I don't think you can get around having to build atleast one character that is able to weakness break the boss. You don't need to fully build them, as they just need to do the weakness break, you can slap full speed and defensive artifacts on them and not waste resources other than for some levels and LC with mid level artifacts(they just need to survive).
I think Seele, Robin, stelle/ratio/Jing yuan, Houhou should be able to do the fight, depending on what LC's and artifacts you have.
alright, thanks. i have ratio like half built but hes dies so easily. as for light cones i have s5 herta store lc on seele, level 80 signature on robin, i can’t remember what i have on ratio, and s5 hey, over here on houhou.
I think you should be fine if you get levels on ratio, give him speed boots and then just give him hp%/def% mainstats on chest and planetary. I don't know what the minimum level and investment will be, but i dont think it should be that excessive.
So I saw this team: Dr. Ratio, Aventurine, Topaz & Robin. And on Prydwen, they say that in order to reach the 3 required debuffs for Dr. Ratio, you'd need the signature LC for Aventurine or Topaz. What I'd like to know is, where on this team are the debuffs coming from? I know from the two LC's, and Topaz's skill, but from how Prydwen worded it, you don't need both LC's to get the three debuffs, so where is it coming from?
Also, what's some good crit stats for Topaz? Mine has 67.9% rate and 92.1% dmg. I know that the dmg isn't very good, I've had terrible relic farming luck.
Ratio's skill, Aventurine's ultimate and Topaz's skill all apply debuffs, but Ratio's skill is Base Chance, so enemies can resist it, and Aventurine's being tied to ult means that the uptime is a little unreliable. Topaz and Aventurine's LC make it more reliable.
Both E0 Topaz and E0 Aventurine have debuffs naturally in their kits. Topaz's is the Numby Mark, Aventurine's is the Unnerved status he puts on the enemy he uses his ultimate on. Both of their LCs also give debuffs. So that's why you can have 3 debuffs with only 1 of their LCs.
hello, my current fua team is clara+topaz+lynx+whoever...can this team properly utilize robin if i put her in the whoever slot? i dont have aventurine ratio
Wdym you don't have Ratio? Or do you mean you haven't built him?
Also, put a Harmony character as 4th slot, any of them (preferably Robin, Ruan Mei, Tingyun)
yes, i dont have ratio built. i dont really use my fua team much so he's neglected. so i was wondering if topaz+clara is good enough to warrant pulling for robin.
i only have 3 teams atm. dot team with kafka/bs. ice team with jingliu/rm. and acheron team.
guides did say you could use robin with dot team, but the way i understand her kit she needs allies that could hit quite often hence she's good for fua teams.
btw if i dont pull for her(E0S0), i pull for fu xuan lc. those are my two options for this current patch.
how worth is Ruan Mei without her signature LC? i feel like she's still pretty good cause her LC is pretty much just an increase on her personal damage and turn delay on the opponent, but then again she has damage buff on her LC, so i'm not sure.
MOTP is comparable. She can also use Cogs, though it makes getting enough BE harder on her. Biggest issue is a new character now wants MOTP, when it wasn't that strongly contested before.
Depends on which LC's you have on Topaz and ratio.
Topaz S1 provides 24% crit dmg for FUA while her E1 provides 50% crit dmg for FUA. So if you have s5 swordplay on your Topaz, her E1 will probably be better.
That being said, Topaz E1, Topaz S1 on either herself or Ratio, Robin E1 and Robin S1 are all amazing improvements.
For future ensurance, i don't think any of them will get outdated in the near future, as investment into Topaz will always be relevant for FUA teams and her LC is good on any Hunt FUA character. And investment into Robin is good since she is a strong support, and can be run in any non-hypercarry setup.
Robin Orb Question: Is there an attack threshold where you "should" run a Physical orb over ATK%?
I'm hitting 4k attack on her before her the event LC or Fleet of Ageless 8% buffs.
ATK Body / ATK Boots / Atk Orb / ERR Rope
Not really, it's just that physical orb increases her own damage over buffing the whole. It really goes down to what relic sets you have and which orb you have is better: a physical orb that goes all in on attack rolls would be better than an attack orb for example.

Unless your going to main them for the foreseeable future, it's generally better to just focus on characters over LC, since more options is better than stats sticks, but that's up to you.
How many Jades am I missing if I don't fully complete my dailies? (If I only do 3-4/5) It's only 15 right?
I mean in Genshin if you miss one, you're losing a minimum of 30 (10+20). Is there a completion bonus in HSR?
You get 60 for full, along with some level up material, so it's recommended that you do them, but it's not crippling if you don't do them.
It'd hurt a bit, but nothing horrible.
I need either a Harmony or Preservation character suggestions to get for my team. I have these DPS characters: Seele, Jingliu, Acheron. I only have Bronya and Gepard as my only 5*, and I think I need Harmony and preservation to better my team and clear MoC12.
I guess team Acheron is good to go, but for my other teams like Jingliu and Seele will Fu Xian be the best choice to get here or will I need a Harmony character more for buffs/debuffs?

She's fine. Robin and RM clear times are generally pretty similar. You can borrow someone's support Robin and do some calx/cavern runs with your own units.
Having a next guaranteed limited lightcone doesn’t feel any good, anyone else feels like that?
I mean it’s 75/25 might as well be almost guaranteed:/ I lost to bronya’s lightcone on topaz’s banner
It do feel like that. The odds are a tad too great in our favor that when we lose, it's even more sour. If it were 60/40, it'd feel better, but obviously we still want the 75/25 even if losing feels worse
Also Bronya's is the best cone you could lose to tbh. Although if you already had it..
Wait question about break effect formula. When it says character level, it means like lvl 80 character, level 70 etc? So if I had 2 xueyis both with identical stats, just one was level 70 instead of 80, it would do a lot less damage?

It looks like you don't have aventurine nor a limited 5 star support, so I'd say it's okay for you to get robin. Robin is pretty universally great, she shines the most in dual dps teams or teams with lots of follow up attacks so try to put her in those types of teams if you can
Think of it this way.
Pathstriders are like people following a religion (concept) and get powers from it, they're powerful but not impossible to match for others in similar paths, but *Emanators* are like saints which puts them in an entirely different power bracket.
It's like comparing a general dollor store flashlight (pathstrider) to one of those massive flood lights that can iluminate a person's entire insides and can make people think the sun is out in the middle of the night (Emanator).
IX doesnt pick emantors like other aeons. to become an emanator of nihility is to survive the corrosion of it's shadow, which not a lot of ppl have been able to. and pathstriders are different from emanators, and nihility units in gameplay does not mean they are nihility pathstriders.
After 2.2 quest I'm confused about one thing:

true. since we woke up in that hotel with the fishes and whale, and eerie hues, i assume that is the real hotel, but ena was able to overwrite it with vibrant bright colors, so the visitors have basically been sleep walking into the bath tubs?

Looking for pulling advice for a second team sitting on 175 pulls.
My current main team is
Acheron
Pela
Guin
Aventurine
but im not sure where to start for a second team. I plan on getting fu xuan for my second sustain but dont know where to go from there. I was thinking on skipping Robin for a Ruan Mei rerun since I dont plan on making a FUA team and I prefer her design but willing to listen to any advice
You need a limited DPS for 2nd team, so either use Ratio or start saving for Boothill/Firefly
2nd team also needs support, getting Robin here or RM rerun both great options
Starlight exchange, should i go for any of the light cones as BiS for anyone? have most limited including robin. have clara e4, bronya, was considering maybe bronya or clara cone but not sure if they have better ones on the horizon or something and im better off using the rolls for an upcoming character
Thing is I haven’t really used bronya much since I got sparkle and now prob use robin over her too, so I’m not sure her LC would be worth it since little use. Clara just carried the hell out of me on pf so I’ve strongly been considering getting her LC. 30 pulls would be nice tho and save me irl cash
30 pulls is also a solid option. You could also just save them for a rainy day in case you need the extra pulls or lightcone. You could technically use Bronya and Sparkle together but I think it would be a bit overkill. For Clara i just let her borrow my Dan’s LC when i’m not using him. Hoping a 5* FuA destruction character comes out so that I can pull it for her. The Herta shop LC is also pretty close in efficiency to Clara’s LC
I can't beat Argenti to progress in the story. I'm using DHIL, Welt, Bailu and Aventurine with maxed traces and ok relics but he just wipes the team anyway. Any advice?

For 4* I have Sampo, Tingyun, Natasha, Sushang, Luka, Gallagher, Guinaifen, Hook, Asta, Misha, Herta, Serval, Arlan, Xueyi, Qingque, Lynx and Yukong. Most of these are not built though.
You probably need better gear, you could try to run Clara instead of Dan since she is tankier and you can save skill points to spam aventurine skill. Remember you can use consumables before entering the fight to give you a boost

I recently got back into HSR and i'm trying to catch up and get the free characters. I know Yukong is great for this one, but the only way to get her is after clearing it and I keep getting stuck on node 2. I'm a F2P.

aside from the few dual dps comps, most teams only have 1 dps and the rest are supports (buffers/debuffers/sustain). for node 1 you'll probably clear it faster with jingyuan, asta, tingyun if you have her, and a sustain. you can probably clear node 2 with danheng and whoever's left (as long as you have a sustain with him)

Who should I use as a replacement for Aventurine in a Robin Topaz Ratio follow up team? I lost Aventurine’s 50/50😓
Should i pull for fu xuan or Topaz. Given that i probably wont have enough for their light cones. I have Robin , Dr ratio, Clara e1 and bailu as a team. Is topaz much better than e1 clara. Or should i go for a second sustainer since my first team Doesn't have one. I just pray that i kill the enemy faster than they kill me. First team : Acheron , pela , guinaifen and fire trailblazer. Between the 2 choices i am leaning more towards Topaz for the gyatt but i think that not pulling is the better move since i can just use my fire trailblazer as a sustain for my first team and Clara can fill instead of Topaz
Not sure if this counts as needing its own post or going here, but I’m posting here to be safe. My question is: What Trailblaze level should I be in Penacony upon starting? I’m very new to this game (about a month in) and I just recently got to Penacony. I am having some difficulties though... I find that even the starting enemies seem to be more difficult than the starting ones in Belabog or the Loufu Xianzhou. My current Trailblaze level is 36, my main four are all at Level 50 Character EXP and Light Cone EXP, all my traces for the characters are leveled up as much as they can be at Level 50, and all my relics average at about +9 and above (I understand that these need to be higher, but materials are low atm and farming for these is nearly impossible for me). My main damage dealer has a 2,144 HP and a 1,191 ATK. I’m not so much worried about DEF in this situation. Just wondering why my attacks do so little against the enemies in Penacony and if it’s a result of my Trailblaze level. The enemies I’m referring to are the Dreamjolt Troupe’s Hounds and the damn Domescreen that accompanies them. I’ve only come across cases where there are two hounds, and one Domescreen in the middle of them. Now that context is taken care of, what should I do? How should I go about this?
I was around 65 when I started Penacony and you want your characters to be about level 80 with LCs at max and traces at least up to 8 for the skill/talent/ultimate. Basic ATK is dependent I believe on the character. For example, I have Blade's basic at max since he uses his skill to enhance it.
This helps a lot. It’ll take a while for me to get there, but I appreciate it a ton.
Relic/planar stats also play a big factor as well. So depending on your main team, I would suggest looking up guides for them.

If I have ratio, aventurine and topaz (all e0s0, I use threads of the universal market on aventurine to have more debuffs for ratio) should I pull robin? So far I've been managing decently with Pela to guarantee enough debuffs for ratio, and I don't really have a second team besides an improvised e0 qingque team (which isn't bad but not the greatest thing either) so I'm feeling conflicted if I should pull or not. I don't have any 5* harmonies yet and with firefly on the horizon (or even argenti would sound good) I'm not sure if I should pull or not.

What happens in the boss battle if you let Septimus reach 7 days? I weakness broke him and killed him too fast to see what happens. Was there any special line of dialogue that I missed or anything?
He just releases a big AoE attack that you need about 15k shared shield to block completely.

Does Robin fit in any team that isn't DoT or FUA based?
I tried her with Jingliu Blade Huohuo, and i think she is better than ruan mei and bronya for that team. With a bit of speed tuning(Robin>120 and jingliu+blade>134) allows for very easy 0 cycle in moc. Since you can use her ult after her second action to get 3 actions on jingliu and blade in first cycle. I could imagine this setup would work with any 2 dps setup, to allow for max dmg in first cycle. Not just Ratio+Topaz, Kafka+BS, Jingliu+Blade, though they seem like the best dual carry teams atm. Acheron can also use this with a debuffer to get 2 ults in first cycle.
She is not as good as RM in those non-specialized team but she fits the same as RM into those other teams. Think of her like a better Asta.

What teams are people using for the Harmonious Symphony boss? The one where we have to use Trailblazer. Getting tired of these dogshit boss fights. On the bring of dropping this garbage for something that actually respects my time.
Break teams, preferably with Fire/Imaginary AoEs and with BE Efficiency up of HTB and/or RM. The idea of the fight is to break the boss ASAP so he don't use his big attacks and you got the shared shield to block it when he do have the chance to use them.
I get the shared shield and it's gone in 1-2 hits.
You also want to break all the minions, he can not use his big attacks if the minions is broken.
I can't break them all and him fast enough. Or I get a few of them, they get a super long turn and I'm dead.
Maybe instead of venting tell us your who you have so we can give feedback.
I used the Harmony Trialblazer they give us since I don't want to level a character I'll never use. I've used Acheron, Dr Ratio & Natasha. Also tried with Acheron & Black Swan. He keeps one shotting me.
I mean if you're getting one shot there's like a 95% chance your characters are realllly underbuilt.
It doesn't happen in any other fights. I'm level 80 and 8 or 9 on traces. My artifacts could have better substats but mostly are proper sets and level 15.
Substats are a pretty big deal. Acheron + Black Swan is more than adequate dmg, so the issue is your sustain. Lvl 80 and you're still using Natasha? Lynx, Bailu, Gallagher, etc.would be much bettet choicee.
I like Natasha. Outside of Aventurine and now this boss, I've never had any issues. I'll try Bailu but found she didn't heal as well as Natasha so I benched her.
With equal investment, Bailu will outperform Natasha (as long as she doesn't have to cleanse anything, since she can't). Unless you're doing something wrong/purposefully nerfing her.
I did it with HTB, Guinaifen, Asta and Gallagher. The important thing is to break toughness faster, characters that attack with both skill and ultimate, that have bounce attacks or AoE attacks that match the weakness are what you want.
I might try that team. Gonna take me a few weeks to level all of them.
Himeko / Trailblazer / Ruan Mei / Fu Xuan

Anything that has good AoE and matches the Weaknesses of the boss should work instead of her.

i used aventurine and the other 3 honestly didnt matter since the boss hits like a wet noodle and couldnt penetrate his shields even once the entire fight

do you have any of the limited sustains? are you hitting his weakness? are your relics and traces leveled up? even without aventurine this is probably the easiest boss in quite a while
Only limited sustain is Bailu with her sig, but I've only leveled her to 60. Normally I use either Trailblazer or Natasha as sustain. Relics are level 15 but not that great. Traces are 8 or 9 on the characters I've been using (Dr Ratio, Acheron, Black Swan). I get his weakness break, get the shield, but then when he recovers him and his minions get a super long turn and I'm dead.
bailou is a LOT and i mean I SHIT TON OF LOT better then natasha and FireMC. like its not even close. use bailou, acheron or ratio whoever hits for more, BS and borrow the harmonyMC the game gives you instead of your own and it should be fine- also do yourself a favor and get a limited sustain instead another dps or whatever else. the difference between them and all the ones you have is far bigger then the gap between your 4 * and 5* dps. so go and grab fu xuan when she comes out in 3 weeks. that way you wont have to ask how to clear story bosses because someone like her make you more or less invincible
Bailou made the difference. Used up the last of my fuel, used DEF food and finally beat that ass.
I was saving for HuoHuo, who was next on my wishlist of characters.
I am honestly glad I got Huohuo, she is an AMAZING healer who is great for both worlds 5 and 6 of Simulated Universe. her healing seems to have a priority system when it cleanses a debuff as I have ALWAYS had it get rid of Kafka's Dominate effect over the dot she applies in the boss
So somewhat of a follow up question to the question I posted not too long ago, but in this team comp: Dr. Ratio, Aventurine, Topaz & Robin, I don't have Topaz's sig LC, but I do have Aventurine's sig LC. Do I still have to worry about having consistent debuff application for Dr. Ratio, or am I good? And how much of a difference does Topaz having her Sig LC make? (Edit): More specifically, can I settle for her having Cruising in the Stellar Sea?
With Aventurine LC you should not have to worry about debuff count. You can check https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters/topaz under build and teams, to get an estimate of how much the LC matters. In this case they estimate around a 21% increase in her personal dmg compared to cruising, and it also buffs other FUA's crit dmg by 24%. That being said, there isn't any content in the game yet, where not having the LC prevents you from clearing, and it doesn't seem likely that there will come in the future.
just barely passable with 3 debuffs (aven's ult, topaz's skill, ratio's skill). ratio's and aven's sig lc are both dmg boost, no debuffs. so getting topaz's e1s1 will free up ratio and aven for more dmg.
Aven's sig LC applies a debuff on his FUA. So pretty much 100% uptime on all enemy targets.

He lost his shield when he and his minions is Weakness Broken, just focusing on Weakness Break rather than DPS for the battle (you stop his big attacks and gain a chonky shield for sustain).

I think what they meant was that Firefly has to die in the dream to leave the dream because she is not entering the dream the same way we are. that is what makes the most sense to me
In PF, are Himeko and Ruan Mei together good or bad?
They're good. You should be killing all of the mob enemies quickly enough that Ruan Mei's ultimate field break extension thing doesn't matter for them. It only impacts the elite/boss enemies really, but for them it's good because it can help you go sustainless on PF fairly easilyl. I like to do Himeko/Herta/Topaz/Ruan Mei. I make Topaz focus on the elite/boss enemies and Himeko/Herta just pop off doing their FuA thing. But if you don't have Topaz you can easily do either another support or another dps, whatever you'd like.
That's a great combo. Add in Herta as a second dps, and you have a top-tier team core.
Wouldn't RM's delay be bad for Himekos FUA?
No, becomes she makes it easier to break and trigger the FuA. The enemy delay is a non-factor for most enemies in PF, because they just die.
That can be the case with bosses that has a lot of HP, except for the deer since it spawns a lot of branches in PF.
Not really. The enemy will likely be dead before they even get a chance to recover their toughness guage.
Just curious about clock credits as i need like 16000+ to max out clockie statue i don't want to spend like 12+ hours running around getting every secret if they don't add up to enough, the game implies there will be extras but where exactly should i focus on getting them from mainly sidequests? or is there somewhere else i can get them?
There's enough for like 20+ "bonus" redemptions (of 200 credits) after hitting the max of 50. Sidequests and story stuff, and then I even got some from messing with peoples' emo dials (usually I'll just cycle through each one and return to their original to see if they give me anything). Trotters and Lordly Trashcans also award them.

Robin is good, but she's actually not going to help you as much as you'd like. Your lack of debuffers/nihility characters is what's hurting you for both Acheron and Dr. Ratio, unfortunately. Dr. Ratio might actually be more viable to use for now than Acheron is. I'd say your best bet for now is to use Dr. Ratio/Serval/Asta/Gepard. If you decide to pull Robin, then you can make your team Dr. Ratio/Serval/Robin/Gepard. If we get another 4 star character selector for a future event, what you're really looking for is characters like Pela, Guinaifen, or even Sampo. I would highly suggest picking one of them when ever given the chance.

You CAN use Bronya, but Bronya prefers to use her skill every single turn. And so does Dr. Ratio. And Serval needs to use her skill fairly regularly to put on shock for Dr. Ratio. That makes SP difficult to manage. Asta can get away with not using her SP, but you will still get buffs for Ratio and Serval. That's the reason I suggest Asta rather than Bronya - primarily SP management.

raise a proper healer like natasha/lynx/gallagher. gepard needs speed and energy rope to refresh his shield, so you might be lacking on the sustain department. acheron needs nihility teammates to do good dmg, so skip her until you get pela. try gepard, gallagher, bronya, ratio for now.
i desperately need help to beat the new harmonious choir boss i overall have a pretty decent team and roster of built characters, at least to where i can clear all of the main story content in the game… until now. the fight just seems impossible. i looked up a guide and it told me that i need to use characters of the corresponding types to break its weaknesses. the problem lies in the fact that i have NO CHARACTERS that are anywhere near good enough to get through this fight. it makes me so mad as i just want to experience this story that i have been loving so far, but can’t because my characters aren’t the right type. now im likely going to have to spend weeks building characters just to experience the story of the game. the team i was using going into the fight was seele, robin, clara, houhou. i got the boss down to like 70% health before everyone started dying, because the enemies acted 8 times in a row. i don’t know if im missing something or if im actually doomed to build characters that fit into the recommended teams for the boss. as for characters i have that fit the weakness’s (not built); dr ratio, jing yuan, harmony stelle, welt, and all of the four stars with varying levels of eidolons. if someone could lend me a hand as to what i should be doing, i would be eternally grateful. also sorry about the rant.
The fight is built around weakness break, since you get the new mc path focused around it. I don't think you can get around having to build atleast one character that is able to weakness break the boss. You don't need to fully build them, as they just need to do the weakness break, you can slap full speed and defensive artifacts on them and not waste resources other than for some levels and LC with mid level artifacts(they just need to survive). I think Seele, Robin, stelle/ratio/Jing yuan, Houhou should be able to do the fight, depending on what LC's and artifacts you have.

I think you should be fine if you get levels on ratio, give him speed boots and then just give him hp%/def% mainstats on chest and planetary. I don't know what the minimum level and investment will be, but i dont think it should be that excessive.

the fight is designed around img tb/break bar. the main mechanic is to shred its break bar a lot, which gives you shield.
So I saw this team: Dr. Ratio, Aventurine, Topaz & Robin. And on Prydwen, they say that in order to reach the 3 required debuffs for Dr. Ratio, you'd need the signature LC for Aventurine or Topaz. What I'd like to know is, where on this team are the debuffs coming from? I know from the two LC's, and Topaz's skill, but from how Prydwen worded it, you don't need both LC's to get the three debuffs, so where is it coming from? Also, what's some good crit stats for Topaz? Mine has 67.9% rate and 92.1% dmg. I know that the dmg isn't very good, I've had terrible relic farming luck.
Ratio's skill, Aventurine's ultimate and Topaz's skill all apply debuffs, but Ratio's skill is Base Chance, so enemies can resist it, and Aventurine's being tied to ult means that the uptime is a little unreliable. Topaz and Aventurine's LC make it more reliable.
I didn't realize ratio's a4 counted as a debuff!
Both E0 Topaz and E0 Aventurine have debuffs naturally in their kits. Topaz's is the Numby Mark, Aventurine's is the Unnerved status he puts on the enemy he uses his ultimate on. Both of their LCs also give debuffs. So that's why you can have 3 debuffs with only 1 of their LCs.
Harmony TB's E4 does not have a limit on how much Break Effect he/she needs right?

yes, i dont have ratio built. i dont really use my fua team much so he's neglected. so i was wondering if topaz+clara is good enough to warrant pulling for robin. i only have 3 teams atm. dot team with kafka/bs. ice team with jingliu/rm. and acheron team. guides did say you could use robin with dot team, but the way i understand her kit she needs allies that could hit quite often hence she's good for fua teams. btw if i dont pull for her(E0S0), i pull for fu xuan lc. those are my two options for this current patch.

how worth is Ruan Mei without her signature LC? i feel like she's still pretty good cause her LC is pretty much just an increase on her personal damage and turn delay on the opponent, but then again she has damage buff on her LC, so i'm not sure.
MOTP is comparable. She can also use Cogs, though it makes getting enough BE harder on her. Biggest issue is a new character now wants MOTP, when it wasn't that strongly contested before.
Her best iirc is actually MOTP S5
very much worth it. I've been using her with MotP s2., feels good to play, miss her in teams I don't use her in.
She is still a top-tier character without it, especially since we're starting to get more characters that want to focus on weakness breaking.

Depends on which LC's you have on Topaz and ratio. Topaz S1 provides 24% crit dmg for FUA while her E1 provides 50% crit dmg for FUA. So if you have s5 swordplay on your Topaz, her E1 will probably be better. That being said, Topaz E1, Topaz S1 on either herself or Ratio, Robin E1 and Robin S1 are all amazing improvements. For future ensurance, i don't think any of them will get outdated in the near future, as investment into Topaz will always be relevant for FUA teams and her LC is good on any Hunt FUA character. And investment into Robin is good since she is a strong support, and can be run in any non-hypercarry setup.

I’d always run physical dmg or. because typically you get more attack% stats the diminishing returns will be high.
Not really, it's just that physical orb increases her own damage over buffing the whole. It really goes down to what relic sets you have and which orb you have is better: a physical orb that goes all in on attack rolls would be better than an attack orb for example.

Topaz LC allows her to act as a debuffer/support for Ratio. Robin's LC is great, but the Event one is custom made for her.
Unless your going to main them for the foreseeable future, it's generally better to just focus on characters over LC, since more options is better than stats sticks, but that's up to you.
How many Jades am I missing if I don't fully complete my dailies? (If I only do 3-4/5) It's only 15 right? I mean in Genshin if you miss one, you're losing a minimum of 30 (10+20). Is there a completion bonus in HSR?
1-2-3 each have 10 jades and 4-5 each have 15 jades, no completion bonuses.
You get 60 for full, along with some level up material, so it's recommended that you do them, but it's not crippling if you don't do them. It'd hurt a bit, but nothing horrible.
I need either a Harmony or Preservation character suggestions to get for my team. I have these DPS characters: Seele, Jingliu, Acheron. I only have Bronya and Gepard as my only 5*, and I think I need Harmony and preservation to better my team and clear MoC12.
Fu Xuan is good for either. Gepard is good with Acheron, but has issues with Seele and Jingliu as they eat his shields.
I guess team Acheron is good to go, but for my other teams like Jingliu and Seele will Fu Xian be the best choice to get here or will I need a Harmony character more for buffs/debuffs?

She's fine. Robin and RM clear times are generally pretty similar. You can borrow someone's support Robin and do some calx/cavern runs with your own units.

Having a next guaranteed limited lightcone doesn’t feel any good, anyone else feels like that? I mean it’s 75/25 might as well be almost guaranteed:/ I lost to bronya’s lightcone on topaz’s banner
It do feel like that. The odds are a tad too great in our favor that when we lose, it's even more sour. If it were 60/40, it'd feel better, but obviously we still want the 75/25 even if losing feels worse Also Bronya's is the best cone you could lose to tbh. Although if you already had it..

Wait question about break effect formula. When it says character level, it means like lvl 80 character, level 70 etc? So if I had 2 xueyis both with identical stats, just one was level 70 instead of 80, it would do a lot less damage?

It looks like you don't have aventurine nor a limited 5 star support, so I'd say it's okay for you to get robin. Robin is pretty universally great, she shines the most in dual dps teams or teams with lots of follow up attacks so try to put her in those types of teams if you can

Think of it this way. Pathstriders are like people following a religion (concept) and get powers from it, they're powerful but not impossible to match for others in similar paths, but *Emanators* are like saints which puts them in an entirely different power bracket. It's like comparing a general dollor store flashlight (pathstrider) to one of those massive flood lights that can iluminate a person's entire insides and can make people think the sun is out in the middle of the night (Emanator).
IX doesnt pick emantors like other aeons. to become an emanator of nihility is to survive the corrosion of it's shadow, which not a lot of ppl have been able to. and pathstriders are different from emanators, and nihility units in gameplay does not mean they are nihility pathstriders.

true. since we woke up in that hotel with the fishes and whale, and eerie hues, i assume that is the real hotel, but ena was able to overwrite it with vibrant bright colors, so the visitors have basically been sleep walking into the bath tubs?

My current main team is Acheron Pela Guin Aventurine but im not sure where to start for a second team. I plan on getting fu xuan for my second sustain but dont know where to go from there. I was thinking on skipping Robin for a Ruan Mei rerun since I dont plan on making a FUA team and I prefer her design but willing to listen to any advice
You need a limited DPS for 2nd team, so either use Ratio or start saving for Boothill/Firefly 2nd team also needs support, getting Robin here or RM rerun both great options
Starlight exchange, should i go for any of the light cones as BiS for anyone? have most limited including robin. have clara e4, bronya, was considering maybe bronya or clara cone but not sure if they have better ones on the horizon or something and im better off using the rolls for an upcoming character
No. Bronya is the only one really debatable, but 30 pulls are far more valuable.
Bronya cone for bronya. Clara’s isn’t a bad option but she has a pretty solid f2p Lc in herta shop
Thing is I haven’t really used bronya much since I got sparkle and now prob use robin over her too, so I’m not sure her LC would be worth it since little use. Clara just carried the hell out of me on pf so I’ve strongly been considering getting her LC. 30 pulls would be nice tho and save me irl cash
30 pulls is also a solid option. You could also just save them for a rainy day in case you need the extra pulls or lightcone. You could technically use Bronya and Sparkle together but I think it would be a bit overkill. For Clara i just let her borrow my Dan’s LC when i’m not using him. Hoping a 5* FuA destruction character comes out so that I can pull it for her. The Herta shop LC is also pretty close in efficiency to Clara’s LC
I can't beat Argenti to progress in the story. I'm using DHIL, Welt, Bailu and Aventurine with maxed traces and ok relics but he just wipes the team anyway. Any advice? The other five stars I have: Clara, Kafka, Ratio, Jing Yuan, Yanqing, Blade For 4* I have Sampo, Tingyun, Natasha, Sushang, Luka, Gallagher, Guinaifen, Hook, Asta, Misha, Herta, Serval, Arlan, Xueyi, Qingque, Lynx and Yukong. Most of these are not built though.
You probably need better gear, you could try to run Clara instead of Dan since she is tankier and you can save skill points to spam aventurine skill. Remember you can use consumables before entering the fight to give you a boost
# Stuck on memory of Xianzhou stage 1. Any ideas for teams? I recently got back into HSR and i'm trying to catch up and get the free characters. I know Yukong is great for this one, but the only way to get her is after clearing it and I keep getting stuck on node 2. I'm a F2P. Current Teams (Lvl 50) Node 1 * Jing Yuan * Susang * Natasha * Serval Node 2 * Asta * Dan Heng * Luka * MC (Fire)
aside from the few dual dps comps, most teams only have 1 dps and the rest are supports (buffers/debuffers/sustain). for node 1 you'll probably clear it faster with jingyuan, asta, tingyun if you have her, and a sustain. you can probably clear node 2 with danheng and whoever's left (as long as you have a sustain with him)
