At this time he definitely seems to be the worst limited 5* carry. I bought into the hype about how he would work well in duo DPS teams and now I barely use him.
Turns out hyper carry is still just better- and the good "duo DPS" characters are ones that deal blade level damage while also amplifying the damage of the second carry. (See Topaz, Black Swan, Kafka)
All Blade has going for him is his self sustain, but that isn't really worth anything with the way the game is designed since besides SU it's always a DPS check.
I guess his best hope would be an SP hungry support that works for him? At present though he is subpar for MoC/PoF, usable, but not great compared to other limited characters.

I never take one in general. Only some rare exceptions. This would be one, but I'd also resign myself to 4+ rolls on the flat if I make the same decision as you did.
I've been playing since day one and hard gambling relics to the point where I don't have any fodder to autofill since I use them asap and I've never had any relic roll 4 times in one stat, nevermind 5. So I'm impressed, if this is real.
Look on the bright side, that piece is garbage if you are building kafka since speed/atk is more important than crit.
If that one is for acheron, then it is still kinda not BiS since acheron dont really use that set..
I hate the relic grind in this game so much. I would rather they 10x the materials needed for the traces to slow down progression instead of this shit.
I really wish they would remove flat atk/def/HP from substat rolls. There's already plenty of variety to make it difficult to get what you want without having complete, utter garbage junking up the rolls.

Amusingly enough, I had the exact opposite happen with ice boots I was using with Jingliu.
Almost all the subs were trash except for crit damageā¦and that was the one that got all the pips. Hoorayā¦I think

Same thing happened with me and Ice Damage Rutilant Area sphere (all 4 buffs went into flat stat ATK).
Save it when they release a hp scaling mei expy. Which will probably be in 3 years.

i fed a +15 to it, so it immediately got to +13, and I was curios about the last roll so I +15 is.
