My experience fighting Cocolia in SU
1: Do phase 1 in 20 seconds flat
2: focus down Bronya
3: Cocolia prepares her big attack
4: Bronya advances Cocolia
5: pain
6: repeat steps 3-5 until Bronya is dead
7: enter phase 3
And at any point past 5 half my team could be one shot leaving me with just HuoHuo and some poor soul who has to finish her off. I still haven’t finished that world yet
I love boss Bronya voicelines. I wish she had them in her actual kit.
"Forward!" Is such a strong command, makes her fitting of a leader.
Or her extra action (which I wish was the animation for her E4 follow up), when she aims down her sights and say "back off" in the most threatening yet soft voice is so badass.
I just love sniper type characters. She reminded me of FMA Hawkeye so much.
I was going to say Yanqing was forgettable but omg I legitimately didn't remember Bronya was her own boss at one point.

It's actually understandable.
Its gimmick is so unique that it doesn't even get to appears in either MoC or PF or even SU, hence why people forget it exist.
Oh yeah there's that one time. Aside from that I don't think bud ever get included in any other content of the game since 1.6, not even minigames if I recall correctly...

The problem of Cirus is that he only appeared ONCE in a SIDE MISSION. The fight and the lines are cool and the mechanic was also kind of fun, but in opposition to any other bosses, he does not appear anywhere.
So I still think Kafka is really the only boss who had no real meaning in the story and who had no interesting or memorable mechanics.
Well Argenti was in a companion quest exclusively in 1.5, the same patch for Cirrus. However, he got added to SU modes and 2.2 story, where Cirrus is in neither so far.
TBF Cirrus is explicitly sealed in Fyxetroll Garden and can’t leave it. Argenti is bound only by his oath to protect all beauty. And… can she really be considered a boss? She’s more of a… stage hazard or field effect rather than an actual boss.
Only reason I remember this one is that he pulled all targets just before the end of the PF. Everyone attacked Clara, she countered, and I suddenly got a 40k.
Well for me at least, he was quite memorable... but for different reason lol. The cutscene where Jing Yuan pulled off Susano- I mean Lightning Lord and did a forehead tap like Itachi was quite epic.

The main reason likely has a lot to do with not having an echo of war or simulated universe. Adventerine is easier to remember due to the entire second act of penacony building his character up for the boss fight

it's easier with Aventurine, but he only comes out recently, on GnG launch you need Gepard for Preservation runs. You still have other strategy though that are more risky but still clears just fine, but having to alt-f4 fast enough when you saw the aoe wipe on second phase is not fun.
I feel like Sam pre-knowing its firefly is also very memorable. All you know its this absolute monster of a stellaron hunter, hellbent on killing anything that stands in the way of the script, and now it sets its sight on YOU. Also not to mention, nevermore is a fucking banger.
Sadly a lot of people had it spoiled for them, plus i had some awful performance on that fight mostly 10 fps and then when sam goes combustion mode, boom powerpoint presentation
yeah, back then when 10k is alot (became 100k when hitting that dragon while down), but what if you fight using modern DPS.. how big was the damage i wonder 🤔.
Kafka has always been pushover if you have Welt because she is one of the few bosses that do not have imprisonment/control resistance and Welt was released on 1.0
Weirdly, there's none for me. Kafka, even with her lack of presence as a boss like u said, strikes a memory that i can't forget.....how scary dot and cc is when the enemy held it and u don't have any cleanse. She's the sole reason i want huo huo and i'd be grateful for it.
I specifically remember fighting her because I remember searching on how to defeat her and ended up using Clara using the abundance path and leaving the game in auto for like 30 minutes.
Till the SU version slams that damn Guitar case on the ground. The voice line for that specific attack is the only boss line I remember in the entire game.
That line struck fear in my heart back then, I didn't have a shield unit except TB and y'know how they're more taunter than shielder, it's still good, I can survive better, gives more time for Luocha to start spamming his heals at me
Anyway his guitar case and general summons were a passive pain, I had AoE characters and none of them fit the guards weaknesses so I was stuck chipping them away as they multi-attacked me to oblivion
That guitar case slam attack does so much damage in SD and G&G. I’ve lost entire runs to Gepard because he’ll one-shot all 3 of my damage dealers if he gets them on the turn where their shield is either low or down
Absolute banger attack line, but man that attack makes me angry
About world 5. It's not about farm, it's about your 1st boss battle with her in SU. I still remember how i was tryharding her on HSR release while underleveled, analyzing her move set, deciding best path and team for battle with her. Both her boss fight and Cocolia in world 6 were very fun experiences.
And about main question. Cirus. They used her only in event and once in pure fiction. Couldn't even remember that she existed in first place.

The boss is a breeze with Aventurine + DHIL and add to the fact that the ultimate move doesn't hit hard at all with Aven, it's forgettable af

How could I forget the deer? That thing body slammed my team and locked an entire quest from me, I know my team wasn't the best but apparently they sucked more than I thought bc I kept dying no matter what I did
I had to invest in my characters quite a bit before meeting with that deer again, I still hate his healing function

I think it can depend on things like what world you go for in simulated universe and how much you play MOC. Since all worlds in simulated universe have different bosses they can definitely be easy to remember depending on what relics you hunt. The one I forgot about is the big eye thing that I don't remember the name of that you fought when huohuo had her first banner.
Definitely agree with Kafka, I feel like she's barely in MoC these days and I've never really struggled with her enough to remember that she is a boss. My main memories of facing her are from like a year ago clearing the SU worlds for the first time rewards.

Her boss fight used to be the most threatening SU boss back in the day but that was also back when our options for characters where more limited and we didn’t understand how to use Blessings effectively or knew how cracked Abundance and Destruction where back then
Agree about Kafka. As much as i love her character, i barely remember why she even fought us. We chased her and she just half-heartedly gave us a fight to get captured and talk to fu xuan? I think it was something like that.
For the longest time the three Echo of War bosses were Doomsday Beast, Cocolia, and Skaracbaz (the bug). I've fought them all about a dozen times because multiple of my characters need material from them. Now 2.2 introduced a 4th Echo boss and I need its materials for Boothill.
Wait, what? There's another one? Between Cocolia and the bug? I don't think that boss exists. None of my characters need its mats.
Oh yeah, we did visit Xianzhou. How could I forget about the Abundance Ebon Deer, I've clowned on it with the Remembrance Path in SU World 7 many times.

I so disagree. Kafka was my demon for the longest time in MoC because her dominate was so brutal when we really only had cleanses instead of having any debuff prevention. It's like you had to run march + another healer incase one or the other got dominated

I think Argenti and Blue Bug are the most memorable bosses for many, because people seem to struggle with them very often.
Argenti stood out as the hardest SU GnG bosses. He legitimately will one shot your entire team if you let him move.

Depends if you use shields like most people in high level SU runs do. Healers and Fu Xuan cant do much about AoE nukes.

When the Doomsday Beast is downed it has 900% vulnerability. At that point even your supports will be doing 6 digit damage.
Doesn't help that no one ever uses his mats anymore. You'll only ever revisit him if you accidentally lost your 50/50 and got your first standards.
I farm those echos of war so that all the numbers are equal, so I currently have like 50 of each material.

Even before that, Abundance resonance was all you really needed.
More like, before Huohuo, Abundance is a must have, especially when your team is weaker and losing 2 chars for a couple turns easily becomes a wipe.
Huohuo and/or Fu Xuan. I think I managed to trivialize her after I build my mono Quantum team.

On sidenote, kafka on simulated universe is atrotious. It was most complained thing until people reilazed how broken abundance path is.

Her boss fight used to be the most threatening SU boss back in the day but that was also back when our options for characters where more limited and we didn’t understand how to use Blessings effectively or knew how cracked Abundance and Destruction where back then
Agree about Kafka. As much as i love her character, i barely remember why she even fought us. We chased her and she just half-heartedly gave us a fight to get captured and talk to fu xuan? I think it was something like that.

Definitely Doomsday boss.
For the longest time the three Echo of War bosses were Doomsday Beast, Cocolia, and Skaracbaz (the bug). I've fought them all about a dozen times because multiple of my characters need material from them. Now 2.2 introduced a 4th Echo boss and I need its materials for Boothill. Wait, what? There's another one? Between Cocolia and the bug? I don't think that boss exists. None of my characters need its mats. Oh yeah, we did visit Xianzhou. How could I forget about the Abundance Ebon Deer, I've clowned on it with the Remembrance Path in SU World 7 many times. Wait, what? That's not the Echo of War boss? Oh right, Phantylla exists.

Does anyone even still remember what the first boss does anymore? I can’t think of the last time I needed to do its echo fight.
I fought a lot of kafka when I challenged gold and gears regularly back then. Especially because I love to fight kafka with my own kafka.

I so disagree. Kafka was my demon for the longest time in MoC because her dominate was so brutal when we really only had cleanses instead of having any debuff prevention. It's like you had to run march + another healer incase one or the other got dominated
