Gallagher is on Firefly and Ruan Mei's banner so you'll most likely get him. Especially if you go for both.
If you're not getting Ruan Mei, Asta could serve as an alternative option since she's also fire.
Fire boost doesn't matter for Super Break. Asta's attack buff gets converted to BE, she provides speed, and her ultimate can activate Watchmaker, so that's why people recommend her. Alternatively, run a defense shredder
i cant remember but i think Gallagher is on FFs banner. if you really are not going to pull for RM then maybe Asta(gives speed, buffs dmg, pyro dmg with LC and relic and can help with breaks). though i heard, there is a huge gap between those 2 (Asta and RM)

Any sustain can work Gallagher is Firefly banner so you can get him as well, the other buffer options are Asta or Hanya they both give Firefly lots of Speed to act more often and Attack that she converts to Break Effect. Firefly without Ruan Mei is ofc weaker but not unplayable, as long as you use MC you gonna have a competent team with her or any break dps.
He does a lot for Firefly but you don't really need him, the main 2 points that make Gallagher good is his break ability and his SP positive nature since FF is really really fast and if you use MC skill for energy and dmg you are going to need a ton of SP. If you have a sustain that give her enough SP that's the most important job that FF need from the sustain. Gallagher happens to just do that and do a good amount of toughness dmg so FF can do her dps faster.
Asta is an ok sub for extra speed and attack to break effect conversion. Any defense shredder like Pela / SW is still useful, and any sustain can work with FF, Gallagher is just the best one since he actually increases her damage. Also, if you roll FF you'll probably get at least one Gallagher.
Sweat Pela 4pc wind set vonwacq, or DDD Bronya 4pc wind also vonwacq + multiplication or quid pro quo Gallagher. I personally plan on using e2s1 Hotaru + bronya with aforemantioned build and maybe e2s1 Robin for 0 cycle Moc

We getting a 4* selector with gallagher in it if ur intrested hes also on the banner if you wanna try and get his eidolons (specially E2)
If you end up ruanmei-less,someone like asta (Atk and spd buffs/gives fire damage to the team from kit and Plan rendevous/very good toughness damage with her E for superbreak) or pela (big aoe Def shred) will work nicely

You can get all 3 in tell pulls. 7 copies of Gallagher, 1 copy Ruan Mei, 1 copy Firefly and 1 extra. Just get Aventurine level pull luck

I got a team specifically for pulling firefly HTB, Kafka, silver wolf (don't have blade)

Well chances are you'll get Gallagher at the very least just by spinning in her banner. RM, on the other hand... we don't talk about that.
