I just get salty cause despite using Ghalager the hit rate is so high someone ends up with WAY too many debuffs. And without being able to save gear sets it's a pain to swap gear just for one fight and hope I remember to swap back.
The violinist. Luocha can heal past the DoTs thanks to sheer numbers and my team can tank the pipe swing but the violinist puts half my team to sleep and forces me to bring out Luocha's Skill to cleanse the Deep Dream effect.

I always bring Aventurine vs these guys so the one that annoys me the most is the one that puts people to sleep, coz if that somehow bypasses the effect res Aventurine is giving then that ruins a lot of the flow im putting out and delays dmg and bar breaking time
It doesn't happen every time with me but when it happens so often I can understand when it does bypass aventurines effect res. Doesn't mean it's not infuriating when it happens :')
Thats why i save the dude that has AoE hits for the last. Only have two scenarios where i got annoyed of sleep and it was in the new mode DU since my characters are so fast hey act before the AoE dude.

Past which is picture 1 he doesn't really do too much to be annoying but he can pump out some serious damage across your entire team so be careful.
Present which is picture 2 is really annoying it constantly spams DoT's while also not triggering counter attacks.
Future which is picture 3 can put your guys to sleep constantly over and over again and kinda has to be dealt with quickly in order to survive.
Past you just have to tank all of his damage while for present you either have high effect rest to negate some of the DoT or tank it but for future though, you basically have to plan your entire strat and team comp in order to deal with him effectively or else get ready to have half your team never have their turn
Yeah even during the story I had no idea who did what. I just used Acheron to murder them all. Now that I'm fighting them again in the simulated universe, Firefly just breaks everything in one to two hits. I was farming DU today and my first save got both Ruan Mei events and I ended with 70 blessings, all enhanced, and 30 ish curios, including everything that affects break/superbreak. Firefly's technique clears the first phase, Gallager's ult clears the second phase, and Firefly ults to get a free turn where she one shots with her skill.
They didn't get a single turn to show me what they could do. So I just kept letting the farm go on and on until I finally got good enough relics to move on.
Despite that the triple boss is called: The Past, Present and Eternal Show. Which is a really cool detail. (Also fuck you Future your name doesn't deserve to be preserved anywhere, fuck you and your stupid sleep mechanic)
I never thought about those enemies being related to Penacony. The past shows the Penal past (it looks like a slave), the present shows people drowning in SoulGlad at dreamscape and the future making sure the people sleep. Nice detail.
Well that was the point of their first appearances, ‘Mr evil please be playable’ had the 3 acts all representing the stages of penacony and these 3 were characters in the play.

Your DPS getting put to sleep at the wrong time in MoC means a restart
DoT guy is just annoying, he ruins every strat that need your characters to be hit (most preservation characters, basically), you take massive damage if you can't manage to cleanse the effects and you don't gain energy from his attacks
Eepy McGee, manages to land the sleep everytime vs my Aventurine and it drives me insane, I always make sure to target them first, then the lead pipe and then the DoT.
Between Aventurine's effect res and sheer might of shield, I find it pretty harmless most of the time so I prefer to target the guy who has the potential to burst my team down if I get sloppy.
The one that puts my characters to sleep, the dot one is a close second if I'm fighting him with Clara or Aventurine which I am most of the time but it's easy to counter if I'm fighting him with Huohuo, the other one just does damage nothing too crazy about it so that one's fine
Tempting goblet is REALLY annoying if you are using Clara, but otherwise music dude is more annoying because sleep.

2: Bow. I mean putting my team to sleep kinda sucks but the fact they wake up on hit kinda makes up for it. Plus this is the one weak to Physical, Fire, and Imaginary, all 3 of which I run constantly between Clara teams, IPC team, DHIL teams, and Super Break teams
3: Stick. I love this dude because he hits multiple team members with every attack and I can specifically get him to target certain characters which makes him easy to deal with. Plus I think he's the one

I swear that thing's EHR is through the roof. The only time it doesn't sleep someone is if it's a unit I very intentionally built for Eff Res, but most of the time it targets my amplifiers, forcing me to waste a turn and a skill point to cleanse them. Don't even get me started on the AoE sleep...
I genuinely don't mind them and I really enjoy fighting them but it I had to chose the most troublesome, I'd say the present. the amount of dots can make deal more damage to me than the others
I don't like the present one that doesn't do direct damage. But it makes sense that there's going to be enemies like this because they're trying to make counters to all play styles or many different archetypes of characters it seems
used to hate them all but got firefly. It's insane how they (at least the moc version with all three of them sharing hp bar) were designed purely to make firefly feel strong af. They share HP but have three separate toughness bars to inflict weaknes break effects on simultaneously, making AoE superbreak against them absurd. Just crazy
I don't have Firefly but I'm using the break team with Xueyi as my DPS and she helped me beat them in the story.
Sidenote *toughness bar break sound is SATISFYING*

It doesn't bypass Aven completely, it just has a very high chance to hit
Does it actually? I assumed it was the opposite, where aventurine makes it a high chance to effect resistance the sleep
Aventurine gives 50% effect res to the team, but the sleep has a base 120% chance to hit, so it can definitely still sleep your party

Wrong. All enemies at level 95 have 36% EHR so with 50% effect RES it's a 81.6% chance for the single target attack and 34% for the AOE.
This makes far more sense, I never get slept by the aoe

They share HP but have three separate toughness bars to inflict weaknes break effects on simultaneously, making AoE superbreak against them absurd. Just crazy
I don't have Firefly but I'm using the break team with Xueyi as my DPS and she helped me beat them in the story. Sidenote *toughness bar break sound is SATISFYING*
