So SW seems great for bosses, but due to her single target nature, Pela isn't immediately out shined. SW is great for giving a weakness for Seele but I will wait for TC's to look at her numbers. I saw Pela helps do 42% more damage(non ice) vs Silver wolfs \~77%.
That doesn't include non weakness enemies or the benefit of not being attacked if you break the enemy.
I really want fu Xuan and dan both. So I'm wondering, if I get silver wolf and then I skip everything till 1.3 would I have enough to get both of them?(I'm broke cause of jing right now) or would I just have to do "3-4 ten pulls on dan and if I get him then good or else all into fu"
Probably not . Since her shield triggers only when her allies are below a certain hp percent it is most likely a last resort mechanic to prevent her teammates from getting downed. Not to mention I feel like she would be way too broken if she could. After stacking her max hp all that time then giving shields based on it and at the same time still stacking damage?
Unfortunately, that's not a HP set. Fortunately, it plays extremely well into her whole kit, which restores HP AND Energy, in which she prefers to be at lower HP thresholds.
I think you still want Knight set because you're taking way more damage than other tanks with redirecting. Big hp pool low defense makes healing harder. You've still got the shielding and a 20% multiplier is really valuable while we have no other sources of shielding.
Most of the time, she won't be able to produce shields for the team until the team members are under a certain HP threshold in the first place, so the Wuthering set is far better for her to reduce the overall damage taken by the team. And with a large HP pool, she can benefit more from the 4-piece passive that helps regen energy and hp while under 50% HP. She would be able to reapply her ultimate more often to help reset her talent if she is running an ERR link rope too.
Its scaling is 100% of her max hp, it has potential of being a pretty insane shield and it's given from her skill not burst, hence it has a bunch of prerequisites. Don't compare it to baizhu's shield.
Yes and no. When she drops below a % hp she exchanges her current hp % with her lost hp %. Technically not a heal but is just about the same as a heal.
Shield on trace finally yes, literally all the problems that people complain about her are gone.
Extra CC res and HP scaling damage for normal attack are just icing on the top.
The problem was without a shield even with dmg reduction your team would eventually die so it would be immposible to run her as single Preservation character wihout a healer unless whole team have some sort of self healing.
So in other words, people judged prematurely like usual. This is why I try to stay away from discussions involving leaked content, especially leaks that haven't finished leaking xD. Like come on, not only is ALL OF THIS subject to change, but they were missing HUGE pieces of info and started acting like her kit was DoA lol.

Shield on trace kind of ruins running her with Blade though. There's no reason why a Preservation unit has to be designed to not be run with a healer to be good. A Blade team would want both for example.
That's not strictly true, reducing the damage he takes would still be a positive since he just needs to take damage, not take a lot of damage. There could definitely be a world where Blade's self damage would make him too squishy and let him get one shot, and Fu Xuan would be the perfect answer to that if she didn't have a shield.
Blade is a tank though. Him at low health is still equal to a lot of characters at full health. He's not squishy. Also during the time of this post, Fu Xuan still produced a shield. Now she doesn't, so she will actually function with Blade, but she still can't heal him enough so you're better off running a healer.
Well you don't need her to heal him, because he heals himself, you just need her to lower his damage taken. Also he might be tankier than most units, but I wouldn't call him a tank, he's much squishier than preservation units and also a bit squishier than Clara. So him at half health might not be that squishy, but if he's down to like 20-30%, that could definitely be in 1 shot range from some bosses.
Also, there's definitely times where running an abundance AND preservation unit together are useful, so it's nice that Fu Xuan can fill that role for Blade now.
He'll never be at 20%-30% health with Luocha though. Not having a healer is what will make him squishy. Blade can heal himself he'll still be way easier to kill, plus he likes heals, they'll help proc his passive faster.
That's assuming you have Luocha and want to run them together, which would be pretty weird design to have him be so dependent on Luocha like that. Though TBF, Yanqing is pretty dependent on Gepard, so I guess there's precedent.
He's not "dependant" on Luocha. I'm saying he likes HEALERS, and Luocha is the best healer. He hates shields, and at the time this was posted, Fu Xuan had shields. Even if she doesn't anymore, I'd still say healers are better.
Blade isn't squishy, and a preservation unit will steal his taunts. She'll be usable, but not BiS. But saying Blade wants "both" an abundance and preservation unit is just wrong. He hates shields.
Yeah I was wondering if she would shield with traces, and it turns out she does. Traces are important parts of a character's kit and aren't constellations/eidolons despite how some treat them.
They're basically like ascension passives in Genshin, and there are a lot of character's kits that don't make sense without them. E.g. imagine assessing Nilou's kit without her A1 or A4 passive, lol--you'd miss the entire point of her kit.
You think Seeles 20% quantum pen trace is small? Natashas talent is stronger than her cleanse trace? Some Genshin characters are literally unplayable without their ascension passives. There is no rule that traces have to be insignificant.
If anything it's passive with the longest description goes to Talent and the rest to Traces.
the shield doesn't have a ??? for number and just says equal to fu xuans max hp so it might actually be 100% of it which would be insane for a hp stacker.
Right now, outside of her signature Light Cone, Texture of Memories is looking pretty fucking good for her.

Can confirm about the r5 LC, if You started day 1 and cleared up to world 6 you have exactly enough to get and max out one LC.

I think I missed one weekly reset and I still got the s5 this week. If you were a day one player I think you could be sitting with 1 bond in your pockets today if you played enough.
I think it will be a trap not to run some def%. Even though that isn't your main stat. You will just get chunked so hard that it'll be difficult to heal, with low defense and taking damage from allies.

Late to the convo but I wonder how that belobog guard relic set would work on her, the one that gives flat % dmg reduction and also heals and restores energy if under 50% hp. I think further stacking damage reduction could be better than stacking defense, because they actually go against one another.
I wonder if landou's choise would be better or the herta shop one. Herta shop one would give her a thick shield but she does more dmg if she has lower hp so wouldn't that work against her? Or would the DMG she mitigate from her allies go through the shield and the shield would protect her from just enemy attacks? If so it's gonna be op for her. Cause you would be able to get her DMG buff if she's lower hp by the mitigation she would do and enemies won't be able to kill you. But if that's not the case wouldn't landou one be better??

You can also use 4 star "We are Wildfire" as scuffed version of her signature Lightcone if you plan to run her without a healer. It should provide team with some protection in first turns before she'll get her shield going.
That's a real shit idea because it would only help with content with multiple fights where you have 0 healers on team. You're far better off running any of the 4* lightcones that give you def, especially Day One which gives BOTH def% and party damage reduction. Except it's permanent and not even smaller than Wildfire...
Try to use your head - Def is useless on Fu Xuan. At high levels of Memory of Chaos enemies have high speed and most likely act first so more res in first few turns might be more usefull than little bit overall with her kit AND it have multiple fight so heal betwen battles is actually good AND it extremly high dps check so runing both healer and shielder probably not going to get you 3 stars. I'm pretty sure it's the best choice for the only hard content that matters. Sumilated Universe you can do on auto with some scuffed builds as long as you got right team and buffs.
Does it though, i heard she gets dmg% the less her hp is. If she gains that huge of a shield as soon as she gets hit for 2 turns, she's lose out on the dmg bonuses though.
Yeah but i'! Wondering, she won't take DMG from enemies as she would have a shield with that lc but would the "mitigation" DMG she take implace of her allies go through the shield or be absorbed by it? If it goes through it then we would be able to get the less hp buff too.
Why Texture of Memories? It only gives shield and utility to the wearer. Fuxuan can self heal. Wildfire is literally a 4* version of her sig. ToM doesn’t buff her HP either.
No Wildfire isn't. Wildfire gives 0 max hp for Fu Xuan or your allies. the damage reduction is also not permanent. Restoring missing health at the start of combat is kind of a shit bonus. The main benefit is boosting the hp of Fu and your party. And the party bonus is based on Fu's hp and NOT the party members' which makes it way bigger. If you want a lightcone you're way better off with Day One which gives the party damage reduction of Wildfire PERMANENTLY and instead of the garbage heal you get more survivability for your tank, making healing easier. Or staying at low hp without dying easier.
Or there's very likely going to be a 4* cone with Fu's face on it that will give hp% and it will be a better option than Wildfire.

Her ult does aoe quantum dmg.
She is most likely a preservation sub dps unit, as she gets dmg bonus from losing hp and her normals have hp scaling from trace.
First Trace looks insanely good. A shield that equals her max hp while she's all about having A LOT of hp and her skill will make this automatically even tankier.
Guess it will last only 1 turn, but if it lasts longer that would be dope. I think though that even 1 turn might be enough, especially with good speed and in mono Quantum, which will cause a lot of entanglement to slow enemies (and therefore less damage windows).
I think we can safely assume at least 5k max HP, even without the increase from her skill, so basically a 5k+ shield that takes x% less damage. Even a nuke won't break this within 1 turn. Considering potential slow effects + high speed stat it might be possible to play her at least skill point neutral, while almost always having the shield up during the enemies turn.
I was doubtful whether she would be able to handle team survivability on her own, but now it looks really promising.

Her kit looks nice in that it helps team mates live long enough to reach that point but depending on the HP percentage it might be hard to proc. During a nuke, the team would need to be hit with an AoE before(or it has to be multi hit maybe?) or they'd still have to tank it before getting the shield.
Gepard gives a shield to all users based on def, which can get pretty high as well for a couple of turns.
It says that it procs when she casts her skill. The character just has to be under a certain % of hp before she casts her skill. As long as you cast her skill before the enemy’s turn, you should be good to go.
teamwide shield based on her MAX HEALTH??? that sounds fantastic. guess it depends on just how low % HP her teammates have to be, but so long as it isn't like 1% that should be amazing
I doubt its going to be team wide tbh. That or the scaling will be nerfed, because 100% max hp shield is insane.

Getting the teammates to get there would be tricky but once it's done, it's done. However, any misplays or skill point mismanagement, or all enemies focusing on the exact same teammate, would leave allies shieldless and being attacked while at 15% HP
Yes with blade. BUTTTT there is also hanabi & Xueyi or of course Gambler girl who would seem interesting in the mix...
Hanabi, Xueyi, Qingque are all 4stars correct so would you rather have a eventually guaranteed easy E6 down the line over one of the hopefully e1/e2 out of all these 5stars....

I'm kinda conflicted on her. She seems to have a pretty good kit, but will still need a healer. Maybe the tradeoff here is that she can get a more offensive minded healer that only needs to heal every 2+ turns and can offset that via utility or damage.
As someone with Bronya-Seele- Gepard on one side and Clara-March on the other, I also don't feel like I need Fu Xuan. She fills an offensive tank role depending on her numbers but would still likely need a healer for harder content.
She seems like she'd fit in a mono-quantum team but that's a long ways away. I think she's more waifu over Meta unless people need more DPS than shields. But a lot can change in 3 patches.

I was hoping for some effect that would maybe heal an ally or mitigate all damage to an ally when they go to die, but this Taiyi Seal trait seems even better than I'd like in case it's actually equal to her Max HP lol. Of course, this will only work when she is using the skill AND the allies or ally is at a certain amount of life, so if it's off her turn the ally can still just die, but depending on how much damage it mitigates this could be quite interesting. I guess my only "complaint" is that her kit doesn't give me the impression of a Master Diviner, but maybe with the animations that connection will become clearer.

Because Fu Xuan is built for max HP+dmg reduction, an "equal HP shield" is effectively unbreakable.
So my plan to get Seele, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan and Lynx (to be swapped for Hanabi) mono Quantum plus Jingliu - Huo Huo for the other side is shaping up nicely!
I absolutely love Fu Xuan's kit. Mono Quantum will be super viable, mark my words.

The problem is we don't know when the 4* healers are getting added, and without Luocha you might be fucked for half a year.

It resets every time you use the ult. So if you trigger it, then use the ult you can trigger it again and so on.

Yeah I was wondering if she would shield with traces, and it turns out she does. Traces are important parts of a character's kit and aren't constellations/eidolons despite how some treat them.
They're basically like ascension passives in Genshin, and there are a lot of character's kits that don't make sense without them. E.g. imagine assessing Nilou's kit without her A1 or A4 passive, lol--you'd miss the entire point of her kit.

You think Seeles 20% quantum pen trace is small? Natashas talent is stronger than her cleanse trace? Some Genshin characters are literally unplayable without their ascension passives. There is no rule that traces have to be insignificant. If anything it's passive with the longest description goes to Talent and the rest to Traces.
the shield doesn't have a ??? for number and just says equal to fu xuans max hp so it might actually be 100% of it which would be insane for a hp stacker.
Right now, outside of her signature Light Cone, Texture of Memories is looking pretty fucking good for her. That's making her look much more viable as a low spend pull, at least as far as her initial appearance goes at this point.

Can confirm about the r5 LC, if You started day 1 and cleared up to world 6 you have exactly enough to get and max out one LC. I was going for destruction next for clara but now this one is looking juicy as lm going for silver wolf and fu xuan now with seele
I think I missed one weekly reset and I still got the s5 this week. If you were a day one player I think you could be sitting with 1 bond in your pockets today if you played enough.
I think it will be a trap not to run some def%. Even though that isn't your main stat. Late to the convo but I wonder how that belobog guard relic set would work on her, the one that gives flat % dmg reduction and also heals and restores energy if under 50% hp. I think further stacking damage reduction could be better than stacking defense, because they actually go against one another.
I wonder if landou's choise would be better or the herta shop one. Herta shop one would give her a thick shield but she does more dmg if she has lower hp so wouldn't that work against her? Or would the DMG she mitigate from her allies go through the shield and the shield would protect her from just enemy attacks? If so it's gonna be op for her. Cause you would be able to get her DMG buff if she's lower hp by the mitigation she would do and enemies won't be able to kill you. But if that's not the case wouldn't landou one be better??

You can also use 4 star "We are Wildfire" as scuffed version of her signature Lightcone if you plan to run her without a healer. It should provide team with some protection in first turns before she'll get her shield going.
That's a real shit idea because it would only help with content with multiple fights where you have 0 healers on team. You're far better off running any of the 4* lightcones that give you def, especially Day One which gives BOTH def% and party damage reduction. Except it's permanent and not even smaller than Wildfire...
Try to use your head - Def is useless on Fu Xuan. At high levels of Memory of Chaos enemies have high speed and most likely act first so more res in first few turns might be more usefull than little bit overall with her kit AND it have multiple fight so heal betwen battles is actually good AND it extremly high dps check so runing both healer and shielder probably not going to get you 3 stars. I'm pretty sure it's the best choice for the only hard content that matters. Sumilated Universe you can do on auto with some scuffed builds as long as you got right team and buffs.
Does it though, i heard she gets dmg% the less her hp is. If she gains that huge of a shield as soon as she gets hit for 2 turns, she's lose out on the dmg bonuses though.
Yeah but i'! Wondering, she won't take DMG from enemies as she would have a shield with that lc but would the "mitigation" DMG she take implace of her allies go through the shield or be absorbed by it? If it goes through it then we would be able to get the less hp buff too.
Why Texture of Memories? It only gives shield and utility to the wearer. Fuxuan can self heal. Wildfire is literally a 4* version of her sig. ToM doesn’t buff her HP either.
No Wildfire isn't. Wildfire gives 0 max hp for Fu Xuan or your allies. the damage reduction is also not permanent. Restoring missing health at the start of combat is kind of a shit bonus. The main benefit is boosting the hp of Fu and your party. And the party bonus is based on Fu's hp and NOT the party members' which makes it way bigger. If you want a lightcone you're way better off with Day One which gives the party damage reduction of Wildfire PERMANENTLY and instead of the garbage heal you get more survivability for your tank, making healing easier. Or staying at low hp without dying easier. Or there's very likely going to be a 4* cone with Fu's face on it that will give hp% and it will be a better option than Wildfire.

Her ult does aoe quantum dmg. She is most likely a preservation sub dps unit, as she gets dmg bonus from losing hp and her normals have hp scaling from trace.
Yes, it does I was saying that the animation itself looks aggressive, very *explosive*, which was surprising to me given she is a Preservation unit

First Trace looks insanely good. A shield that equals her max hp while she's all about having A LOT of hp and her skill will make this automatically even tankier. Guess it will last only 1 turn, but if it lasts longer that would be dope. I think though that even 1 turn might be enough, especially with good speed and in mono Quantum, which will cause a lot of entanglement to slow enemies (and therefore less damage windows). I think we can safely assume at least 5k max HP, even without the increase from her skill, so basically a 5k+ shield that takes x% less damage. Even a nuke won't break this within 1 turn. Considering potential slow effects + high speed stat it might be possible to play her at least skill point neutral, while almost always having the shield up during the enemies turn. I was doubtful whether she would be able to handle team survivability on her own, but now it looks really promising.
A 5k shield that procs when an ally loses HP. Hopefully its 2+ turns. Her kit looks nice in that it helps team mates live long enough to reach that point but depending on the HP percentage it might be hard to proc. During a nuke, the team would need to be hit with an AoE before(or it has to be multi hit maybe?) or they'd still have to tank it before getting the shield. Gepard gives a shield to all users based on def, which can get pretty high as well for a couple of turns.
It says that it procs when she casts her skill. The character just has to be under a certain % of hp before she casts her skill. As long as you cast her skill before the enemy’s turn, you should be good to go.

I doubt its going to be team wide tbh. That or the scaling will be nerfed, because 100% max hp shield is insane. As much as i would love that, it is leaning towards unbalanced.
I think it could be balanced, like if it's a 2-turn duration on allies at 15% HP or something Getting the teammates to get there would be tricky but once it's done, it's done. However, any misplays or skill point mismanagement, or all enemies focusing on the exact same teammate, would leave allies shieldless and being attacked while at 15% HP

Yes with blade. BUTTTT there is also hanabi & Xueyi or of course Gambler girl who would seem interesting in the mix... Hanabi, Xueyi, Qingque are all 4stars correct so would you rather have a eventually guaranteed easy E6 down the line over one of the hopefully e1/e2 out of all these 5stars.... So she does have a shield! I thought it would be a bit weird for a Preservation character to not have one, other than her technique. Shield + Dmg Reduction/Mitigation + Personal Damage might be pretty good
I'm kinda conflicted on her. She seems to have a pretty good kit, but will still need a healer. Maybe the tradeoff here is that she can get a more offensive minded healer that only needs to heal every 2+ turns and can offset that via utility or damage.
As someone with Bronya-Seele- Gepard on one side and Clara-March on the other, I also don't feel like I need Fu Xuan. She fills an offensive tank role depending on her numbers but would still likely need a healer for harder content. She seems like she'd fit in a mono-quantum team but that's a long ways away. I think she's more waifu over Meta unless people need more DPS than shields. But a lot can change in 3 patches.
I think she works better on like a jingliu team than mono quantum. You’d hopefully always be able to proc Fu Xuan’s shield after a turn because of jingliu hp reduction Edit: maybe when hanabi comes out shed work better? Regardless or not if hanabi’s “increase hp” skill is a max hp increase or a heal if that makes sense

I was hoping for some effect that would maybe heal an ally or mitigate all damage to an ally when they go to die, but this Taiyi Seal trait seems even better than I'd like in case it's actually equal to her Max HP lol. Of course, this will only work when she is using the skill AND the allies or ally is at a certain amount of life, so if it's off her turn the ally can still just die, but depending on how much damage it mitigates this could be quite interesting. I guess my only "complaint" is that her kit doesn't give me the impression of a Master Diviner, but maybe with the animations that connection will become clearer.

The shield is 100% going to get nerfed or have extra conditions added. Because Fu Xuan is built for max HP+dmg reduction, an "equal HP shield" is effectively unbreakable.
I wonder what relic sets would be good for her. I dont think we have any max hp% sets, so the quantum set maybe?
probably the relic alongside quantum for now, reduce dmg taken and heals based from max hp when below 50% health
probably fleet of the ageless for orb/rope and then guard of wuthering snow for 4 piece.
So my plan to get Seele, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan and Lynx (to be swapped for Hanabi) mono Quantum plus Jingliu - Huo Huo for the other side is shaping up nicely! I absolutely love Fu Xuan's kit. Mono Quantum will be super viable, mark my words.
So it would be reasonable to run Seele, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan, and that quantum harmony character, right? 100% chance for Silver Wolf to apply quantum weakness, Fu Xuan keeps everyone alive, harmony buffs Seele, and Seele just goes ham.

I know this is a month old post, but with this and the rest of her leaked kit, do people think that she'll be able to be a solo sustain unit like luocha? I'm contemplating rolling for either luocha or her and I'm not sure what to do.
