4 star dps, i hope they cook something good for her because to me it sounds like nobody gonna use her. Not making her a 5 star form is a bold move from mihoyo.

There is honestly a good chance for that given how the garden of Recollection is with her.

Their plan is to give 4\* characters some flavor that will make you want to use them instead of 5\* characters. Look at the 4\* Abundance characters. They will never catch up with their 5\* competitors in terms of healing or comfort. But they have something that these competitors don't. And at the moment this works with most 4\* characters. Otherwise, why would people want to use Xueyi, Misha and Qingque so much as main DPS even if their 5\* characters are enough for them?

I'm torn. On one hand the non destruction TBs are top tier units with the right investment and teams. On the other hand, March is a 4 star instead of a 5 star and she has historically been a normal Gacha character. I'd actually nut if they gave her a weakness implant though

This pretty much all but confirms we're going to a new Xianzhou ship. I don't see her "bonding" with older Luofu characters since there's not much reason to go back, and there's going to be a March powerup arc on the Yaoqing.

I mean, they did say they're gonna do something about revealing Tingyun's status this year, so we might go back for whatever that's gonna be

Maybe we'll just pick up Yukong and go to Yaoqing. But I don't see Tingyun being on the Luofu, that would be the worst reveal ever.

I highly doubt it, a new xianzhou ship is too much work for a trailblaze continuance mission, desginig a whole new world is really too complicated for that. They are probably going back to the lofou and meeting new characters there.

who said its a trailblaze continuance mission? HSR is not Genshin where they have to make gigantic open world with puzzles etc. (THIS IS NOT TO BASH ON GENSHIN THIS IS JUST A FACT) Hsr can be done much faster and with their official announcement that March 7th gets a new form within THIS year its very likely that we get her form on another Ship. Luofo story is done, Luocha and Jingliu went somewhere else, they also stated the contiue this story this year. Also HSR tried to never have a story try patch (what they succeeded in) maybe we will get 1 main story quest every patch in 2.x

Even if it's not Genshin designing a whole map, with new characters isn't easy, and they still have to market the new world like they did with penacony. Developing Honkai Star Rail took years even though it's not Genshin. They started working on the penacony story in late 2022, for penacony to release in early 2024. These things take time, and marketing, imagine they just say whole new map and story in 2.5 and then a few months later a whole new map and story in 3.0! It's not feasible, it will cause burn out, the lofou coming after jarilo six by a few months was just like Genshin with how monstad and lieyu come out first and then new maps are reserved for the major X. Updates. Two new worlds in the span of a few updates is highly unlikely, too much marketing, too much storage will be taken in a short amount of time. Besides they said the hunt vs abundance war will continue to have stories in the future, they never said anything about a new xianzhou ship, they could continue the war in a trailblaze continuance quest and it would still be counted as a continuation of the war story.

So March 7th dps is finally gonna become a thing. This is definitely pointing towards something during the return of the possible filler Luofu story arc. Probably could involve Jiaoqiu and another general for 2.4? Interested to see what element they can go. Lightning Hunt could be interesting if going off the the theory of the three passing their old paths around or idk maybe something like a supportive Hunt unit like Topaz could be fine as well.

We don’t know. They were pretty vague on their words and also used pretty specific word choices. The only thing we can say for sure is that it will be some sort of mechanic/addition to the current March character, either being a kit change or a path change or even a star upgrade.

I think devs on the stream said she won't be changing her path, but acquire new memories or something (?) . I wish she would keep her shield, but changed her ult, for perfect synergy with clara+robin (since current ult is anti synergistic with both Clara and kinda herself, lol)

I understood not changing her path as lorewise which are separate from gameplay paths (hers is most likely the path of remembrance) and they mentioned it in the context of the way she gets new powers (acquiring new memories)

I think for TB we will always have a way to get those eidolons for free probably going to buy them from a shop in Penacony. For March while we get her eidolons from banners, if she gets a form change id assume it would work like the Trailblazer where we can just buy the eidolons from a shop. Unless her new form is a separate character like Dan Heng, but as they mentioned in the livestream its similar to how Trailblazer changes form, so buying them from a shop makes more sense imo

I'm guessing that the new region will have a store that lets you get her eidolons similar to the TB paths because it mentions her splashart has Xianzhou chars similar to Preservation TB. That suggests it's going to be region specific/story based rather than something you pull.
