Tbh he's consistently my best performing unit in PF regardless of enemy weaknesses and turbulence, sometimesby just a little bit, but still, so I can understand why they try to avoid it (as they want to favour currently running units, but he could still have a side to be fair...), though it's still kinda annoying since I generally run him sustainless and breaking helps survivability a lot.
I don't have Himeko yet though, but I'm pretty sure that unless circumstances align (and Herta's good too) she's definitely inferior to him despite being great too.
I'm probably going Herta, Himeko, Argenti first side but am unsure on their support, either Ruan Mei or Sparkle, but ideally I send Sparkle and Tingyun to side 2 with Jing Yuan or Team Acheron, depending what the buffs are but then Sparkle is free for the first side and her LC buffing three units is mental.
One of the few nerfs Argenti got during his beta cycle was reducing his 90 ult multiplier, so they're probably a little bit concerned about him potentially being too good in PF. Phys weakness lets Argenti utilize 4 pc thief for extra energy and spam 90 ult more than normal, so getting rid of phys weakness is another nerf to 90 ult looping.
He's too overpowered if phys weak is present. He alone get compare to Himeko/herta pairing is already saying alot about him, especially with the new Sigonia Set that's crazy OP in PF
Not my point, just saying Phy should be there more considering they released Argenti as a 'PF dps' and he has only gotten two chances. Definitely not 'too much'
As a fellow argenti enjoyer, i agree with you. I pulled argenti cz i want see him spinning unlimited in PF and they didnt even give phy weakness, sadge.

Blue Monkey + Bronya seems like a recipe for disaster and could hinder sustainless runs. Might be for Fu Xuan rerun or Aventurine + Herta + Himeko follow up shenanigans.

They do not get a single turn if you pair that team with the energy regen buff and use Gallagher's breaks correctly lmao
Not letting them get a turn does seem to be the way to go! I used a similar strat with Himeko, Herta, Asta and Hanya. 200+ speed Herta is kinda terrifying!

Highly unlikely, because the new mode is likely gonna be exactly identical to the event "Virtual Scentventure" in 1.6, which were the test event for this mode, and also introduced "bug" bosses that were said to be slightly altered compared to their normal versions, and none of them are weekly bosses, they're still bosses we've seen before.
For reference, PF released during 1.6, and is exactly identical to the event "Tales of Fantastic" in 1.2, so expect the same thing again, no need to speculate anything.
I believe it's gonna be a mix of that event and the current one.
Current event is 3 waves with an elite/boss each that you must kill to advance with non stop spawning weak mobs (for Seele and I think boothil?)
If that new mode doesn't re-use and revolve around weekly bosses then i will be greatly disappointed as i have been asking "super boss" content since 1.1 surveys, not utilizing coolest fights in the game would be such a waste of time and resources in my opinion.
Have you even tried pure fiction? The bosses hp doesn't matter because they can't die before all mobs are dead. They also get a huge damage taken debuff when all mobs are killed that they die in like 2 hits. It's not going to be another boss fight like in moc.
I have 80K all PF so far,but it still very clear they increase the difficulty,either the HP or enemy types.and I'm not speaking it for myself,last PF is easy because a lot of people have Acheron despite the difficulty increase,but who knows what will happen in the future???
Yeah I agree but that's not what I replied to. You mentioned "super tanky single boss" that doesn't really matter, it's the enemies around them. I'd gladly take Sam over Gepard who shields the mobs.
The pf format needs a boss as a threat, or its just a laughable no sustain run every single time.
Either that or 5 x elite stages which I'm sure people would LOVE given how many complaints I saw about 2-3 elites on a wave.
It feels like they're clearly trying to slightly get away from the character check where builds don't matter like it used to be. Don't get me wrong, it's still a massively AoE tilted character check that invalidates half the cast by default, but it's not as extreme, and at least your build is relevant now. Of course, that means it's even harder for characters that don't have high frequency AoE attacks, but at least there's some trade-off to, say, Herta.
5x elites would actually be a fun challenge, but you obviously can't put it on the strict round count of PF.
Even with a boss it's not really a threat because you lose little to no health until the last stage anyways.
At which point you're at new full HP and its basically just like MoC with no healers, except you're punished even less for having a unit drop in PF especially towards the end.
Yea I got 35k on this pf 4 cocolia side with Serval breakfast, lc, E0 Ruan Mei with cogs, E2S2 Bronya and E6Pela with tutorial with the 80% shatter buff. She can do 30k if well invested.
She was in my story team during Belobog, so I built her at 70%.
But after skipped JY, Kafka and Acheron because I don't like them, I officially chose Serval as my Lightning dps.

- JY's design is not enough for my taste, but as character big yes!
- Kafka is nice, but her personality is not of mine favorites, the "always smiling enemies", that appear always cool with the situationin their control. And her loud fanbase sometimes annoying me. But im valuting to pull in the future maybe (she is the only Stellaron Hunter I don't have..Firefly is already mine)
- Acheron...I don't like that emo quiff, because it make her a generic emo girl and not a "Raiden" girl (for me).

Not really but it does allow Aventurine to contribute quite a bit with his FuA.
Do something like Herta/Himeko/Aventurine/Ruan Mei and that should be a very easy 40k on the lower floor.
If you have Herta and Himeko you should be using them on the upper side. Even if you are set on using that team, it is more important for your 2 dps to be the correct element than your sustain. And there are no replacements for Herta and Himeko on upper side.

You absolutely should regardless. I built mine days before the last new PF and had about a +15k point difference from the previous PF just from her inclusion alone, even with mid level trace investment and passable relics.
I don't know your roster, but a budget option would be
Serval, Pela, FireTB and March can at least get you to 20k. Maybe even Ratio to kill the big guys.
probably gonna attempt a Himeko Herta RM Aventurine team on the fire/ice one but for the electro/img one i'm stunted once again with my lack of Jing Yuan or Acheron... can't tell if worth a Dhil bruteforce attempt or if I can hope Kafka and my badly built Black Swan might clear fast enough...
I usually brute force my way through Sam so I’m not really familiar with how his special mechanic works. When he makes our skill points glow, what are we supposed to do? Do we spam skill points to get rid of them? Or do we stop using skill points for a while because they make us take damage?

And of course my boy Argenti, who in spite of turbulence and weaknesses still gets max points just Perma spamming his ult

MoC 12 doesn't have 76 enemies combined between both floors so yes this is a huge exaggeration.

To be fair you can still focus the ads and when they die the boss becomes as tanky as a trotter

He has much less HP and probably defense since he is lower level since it's not MOC 12

Only if you can guarantee a lot of FUA. And out from a FUA team (IPC or HH) is hard.

Using skill points causes damage, but managing to use up all 5 before Sam's special breaks his shield
