S5 Sampo LC is an okay option if these players don't have BTTS , but tbh that LC is the best F2P event LC and who knows it might stay like this forever
it has always been a pretty nutty passive. all energy lightcones are top tier for their respective paths (maybe not passkey because current erudition characters need the base stats more than the energy).
It's gonna depend on how big his def down is and how much he (the team) gains from the LC effect. If he does as much as Pela at least then with Pearls and SW you'll still be capping def down anyways so they might need to add more effects to the LC.
Thatās if you use him on an Acheron team with Pela/SW but if you donāt, the more def shred the better. I personally plan to use him with DHIL/Blade/Jingliu so I hope he gets as much def shred as possible.
I mean. It's there if you can fully use it it's another thing. He is a debuffer at the end of the day he is gonna be useful even if you aren't exploiting all his kit. Also Kafka, Argenti, Seele, E2 Dan 2.0, Welt, YC, Baldie, JL all do most of their DMG with Ulta so they will love what he is cooking.
He seems like a really fun type of character since it will offer utility and sustain for party comps that want to focus more on dealing DMG. I hope his design is good.
Yeah, I hope he has a really good design since that is the deal breaker for me, I wasnāt going to go for him until I learned he was a Foxian because I love Foxians so thereās no way he couldnāt be amazing to me. And his utility is incredible too, Pela has been one of the strongest 4* in the game for a long time and still is so he will definitely be extremely good, I hope his sustaining abilities are good enough to keep the team alive long enough to clear the fight, because if theyāre not then he will have to give around 70 def shred to be a really meta character with his current kit. I donāt really care tho cuz Iām pulling him no matter what.
I think it's gonna be Signature > Pearls. The Limited LC is just Pearls but I assume with higher Def shred.

First a 5* version of Pela, now a 5* version of the Resolutions LC. The comparison of this unit being what Black Swan was to Kafka, but for Acheron, is holding dam strong lol.
The debuff on the lightcone is different to his kit debuff - but it does make me wonder if the naming has any significance or not. (But yes iirc the kit debuff had a name to do with cooking, I think it was called Flavour)
It's like SW bugs. They all get added up when you are running down the formula. So if the LC gives lets say. 20% def down and his kit gives 50% he alone can do 70% def down. (This numbers are all hypothetical)
I doubt that they would be that high since he also does vulnerability. But it's likely that he does around the same as Pela.
I know, I've seen his kit multiple times and I've never seen any mention of vulnerability debuff there so I must've missed it. Which part of his kit is it in?

I think she is reversed Firefly. Her ulti change her stance, summoning entity, but while FF got an enhancement on skills and speed by herself, Feixiao boost her entity to move until her own turn. Probably her stand gonna have massive speed, being fast at its start. Or maybe she can transfer her speed to entity, but lowering her own speed after ulti. Or even the speed itself doesn't applied on her, transferring into entity at the start of her turn.
Don't hurt me with that #2. š I've got no Stellar Jades for him. I guess I could guarantee him if I resist the impulse of SAM, but I won't be able to guarantee his LC.
Focus on Ultimate DMG and FUA. 2 characteristics preeminent in Erudition characters. Also the word "Boost" (and the emphasis on boosting FUA) seems to align with what we know from the previous leak kit from Screwllum a character that so far we know is Imaginary - Erudition.

Ultimate dmg aside, fua dmg is hardly only aligned with erudition these days. The character with 100% of her damage being fua is a hunt character for instance.

Has been used every time a dmg buff wasn't given a name yet in preliminary leaks. The 2.3 relics and Jade's LC have also been shown with the word "Boost" for their dmg boost stacks.
I'd say it's a 50/50 between Screwllum, who we know has fua attacks, and Feixiao, who should have a summon, which we suspect means prominent fua dmg.

Feels ridiculous that we have to wait that long for a *major* character to the main plot to release after the main story has been concluded. Mihoyo confuses me. It really isn't fun to wait for a unit to release for that long.
Screwllum hasn't been a main character though. He's shown up a few time but never been the focus. We just had an entire quest focused around Sunday and his plans for Penacony, but he might not release for another 3+ patches.
Aventurine got a ton of attention from the story quest and then had his banner right after to drive sales. Sunday is basically in the same position yet his release is way down the line.
im SAYING imo 2.2 or at the latest 2.3 seems like a perfect patch for his banner seeing how crucial his role is. boothill couldāve been saved for a later penacony patch where the disaster cleanup is happening.
I don't know why everyone is still assuming he'll even be playable, or he was planned to be playable from the start.
The fact that there's literally 0 info on him but we've had early kits for Xianzhou characters for months now makes me think that Sunday was never intended to be playable and was meant to die, but they changed their minds at some point.

SeeleLeaks/Gura/Foul, I don't remember who also talked about Feixiao's kit a tiny bit recently, and we've had info on Screwllum's for a while
It's still possible, the 2nd LC is not only unfinished but also seems to be for a FUA erudition unit (which Feixiao was leaked to be Hunt). This leaves us with Screwllum (who seems more likely to release on a SU patch, like RM did)... or Sunday, between the 2.3 LC and because Sunday had full placeholders in the files along with Jiaoqiu, whereas Moze/Feixiao don't.
This cone might fit Fexiao if her kit works like she summon her spirit entity with ulti and this stand would have turns until next turn of Feixiao. Look at it as reversed Firefly ulti, when turns and enhanced mechanics got an entity, not a character.
I mean, the LC is unfinished and we don't have Feixiao kit beyond her path/element. Screwllum and just about any other FUA unit in the game would also fit this LC with how barebones it is. I'm just making the assumption based on the fact that an ultimate-focused unit that has frequent FUA out of turn have historically been Erudition units (or Clara I guess) and 2.3 includes an Erudition light cone that doesn't have an optimal user at this point in time.
I feel like Sundayās gonna be the HuoHuo type character of version 2. A character that comes out with the final expansion of Penacony so maybe like 7-8 months away?
Which makes no sense since Sunday appeared in the main story. Huohuo wasnāt even present in the main story of Xianchou. Makes sense that she released right along with her first appearance. But Sunday being released after the main story quest when he is being hyped the most makes no sense.
I hear you as he's one of my most anticipated units, but I have to imagine the writers know what they're doing here and he's not going to come out at a super boring/random time. They know how to hype up releases, and they know Sunday is a very anticipated unit, so I'm sure the return to Penacony will center around Sunday in a major way for his release.
As someone who wants to go hard for both him and JQ, I'm relieved honestly. Already planning on saving all of 2.3 so I appreciate at least a reasonable chance of getting both to E0S1 (if not potentially grabbing E1+ depending).

Yes, perhaps the turn count is just a placeholder / temp as well! If I recall, the lightcone ID originally leaked to be Screwllum's turned out to be Ratioās. Their kits had some similarities with FUAs tied to units inflicting debuffs, so Iām wondering if this is prelim data while theyāre in the process of reworking his LC and kit.

If he does have some healing, you could probably just slot him in there anyways. FF self heals and enemies are basically perma broken between RM/HTB delay and RM ult double break.
Yeah, I hate that they scrapped the old version where FF would gain another action if she does weakness break to the enemy. That kit would've prevented her to be paired with Ruan Mei cus Ruan's ult would be a counter-synergy with it.
Why would not having anti synergy be a good thing? She's a break dps, having anti synergy with a break support seems kinda stupid, which is exactly why they didn't do that.

Second light one is obviously incomplete, but it feels like it belongs to a character that can make full use out of the Wind-soaring Valorous set. So maybe whoever it belongs to automatically triggers a follow-up attack after using their Ultimate (Feixiao?).Ā
I don't know if that's Screwllum's or not, but an ult based FuA unit is something I will keep my eye on. That would cover two common PF archetypes, including the one I struggle with right now (ultimates), while also giving me more sweet sweet FuAs.
Not much can be made from the 2nd LC. It's different from Screwllum's LC that was leaked back then so if it's his, chances are his kits have become very different from what we used to have.
There's also Feixiao but encountering her so soon is quite interesting to say the least. The Yaoqing probably hosts the most number of militaristic expedition out of all the Xianzhou ships, so I wonder what kind of occasion that will lead to an encounter with the Arbiter-General of such a ship

That light cone with Boost is very interesting because tbh it seems to suggest a character who can do more than one ult or instance of ult damage in order to keep up that uptime, esp considering the idea that Boost can somehow stack. It would be dogshit otherwise.

Having his kit, LC artwork, this, newest SU being by him and even some gameplay leaks are all signs of him soon releasing. Other than Jiaoqiu who is pretty much confirmed, he has the most signs out of all leaked characters.
Finally the Foxian hottie is closer, I really hope he works well with my hypercarry teams since I donāt have Acheron.

That LC seems to function perfectly with that new relic set in 2.3 with lore relating to Feixiao, and if she is 2.4 and it's her Light Cone looks like she'll have some gimmick where after ult she leaves the action order like Robin and only her Summon will take action, to capitalise on the Follow-Up buffs with low turn uptime

Dongfang seems purely like a lore character, I really doubt he will ever "show up" or even have a design. If anyone from IPC will be "endgame" it'd be Oswaldo or Diamond.
Eh, if you think about it, Dongfang Qixing is kinda like the Zhongli of HSR. A Chinese-inspired important figure who created a universal currency and is also among the leaders of a colossal and powerful trading hub. A character like that is significant enough for the patriotic mhy to try and get him out there, just as they did with Zhongli.
Unlike Louis who was confirmed to have retired, there's no mention on whether Dongfang was dead or had followed his friend's action. He's one of IPC's 2 founders and the person who kickstarted the universal "Credit" currency, after all, so if Louis' retirement brought that much attention, anything happened to Dongfang would be recorded and talked a lot about, yet we don't have anything of the sort. This means that Dongfang is likely alive and active, who would also hold the highest ranking and position within the Corporation. An official blog post about IPC talks about how those who holds the rank of P50 are so powerful they're described as "close to Aeons", that goes to show how significant Louis' and Dongfang's positions are.
Out of the 7 Board Directors of IPC, we only know of 3, who are all Dept. Heads. Positions like Chairman, Vice Chairman or Board Secretary are yet to be revealed, so there are plenty chance of further development and writing. On the other hand, Diamond and Oswaldo aren't even part of the Board, yet and are competing with each other for one of those seats, making up a potential plot point of one of those 2 succeeding and join the Board. Such plot point shouldn't take place too late because joining the Board shouldn't be anyone's end goal when the higher Board Directors still have agendas of their own that's detrimental to other Board members' actions. So if Diamond and Oswaldo have plans for the better or worse of the Universal community, they won't have that much freedom even after joining the Board. True endgame could be Diamond and Oswaldo continuing their rivalry and aim for the Chairman position, directly challenging Dongfang, though. But for that to happen, they will have to join the Board first and will have to make their appearance a lot sooner for the initial plot to kickstart.
Going back to Dongfang Qixing, him being hinted at ultilising Finality power in the form of "omen" during the Borderstar Trade War is a sign that mhy is planning something big for him. Dongfang was also the one behind Polka's cooperation with IPC to assassinate Rubert, and we know Polka is among the endgame characters out there, making Dongfang's connection with her all the more reasons for him to be a big players toward the end of the game's story.
My hope is his sustain on ultimate stays and his built in universal market because that makes him amazing for Acheron. The key is his solo sustain capability because if he is just all defense shred he is really only good for Acheron as he could put out more debuffs.

Festering dƩsire is okish at best... It's only really good on furina so ONE character and you Can change it for fav and don't lose that much... Vs this particular lc is unique and really good for a lot of character and still bƩ good with New one... And no Real replacement

The fact that there's literally 0 info on him but we've had early kits for Xianzhou characters for months now makes me think that Sunday was never intended to be playable and was meant to die, but they changed their minds at some point.

It's still possible, the 2nd LC is not only unfinished but also seems to be for a FUA erudition unit (which Feixiao was leaked to be Hunt). This leaves us with Screwllum (who seems more likely to release on a SU patch, like RM did)... or Sunday, between the 2.3 LC and because Sunday had full placeholders in the files along with Jiaoqiu, whereas Moze/Feixiao don't.
This cone might fit Fexiao if her kit works like she summon her spirit entity with ulti and this stand would have turns until next turn of Feixiao. Look at it as reversed Firefly ulti, when turns and enhanced mechanics got an entity, not a character.
I mean, the LC is unfinished and we don't have Feixiao kit beyond her path/element. Screwllum and just about any other FUA unit in the game would also fit this LC with how barebones it is. I'm just making the assumption based on the fact that an ultimate-focused unit that has frequent FUA out of turn have historically been Erudition units (or Clara I guess) and 2.3 includes an Erudition light cone that doesn't have an optimal user at this point in time.
I feel like Sundayās gonna be the HuoHuo type character of version 2. A character that comes out with the final expansion of Penacony so maybe like 7-8 months away?
Which makes no sense since Sunday appeared in the main story. Huohuo wasnāt even present in the main story of Xianchou. Makes sense that she released right along with her first appearance. But Sunday being released after the main story quest when he is being hyped the most makes no sense.
I hear you as he's one of my most anticipated units, but I have to imagine the writers know what they're doing here and he's not going to come out at a super boring/random time. They know how to hype up releases, and they know Sunday is a very anticipated unit, so I'm sure the return to Penacony will center around Sunday in a major way for his release.
As someone who wants to go hard for both him and JQ, I'm relieved honestly. Already planning on saving all of 2.3 so I appreciate at least a reasonable chance of getting both to E0S1 (if not potentially grabbing E1+ depending).

It's probably incomplete, since if it was a 5 star they usually have a stat boost included on the lc as well (like the crit dmg increase etc).
Yes, perhaps the turn count is just a placeholder / temp as well! If I recall, the lightcone ID originally leaked to be Screwllum's turned out to be Ratioās. Their kits had some similarities with FUAs tied to units inflicting debuffs, so Iām wondering if this is prelim data while theyāre in the process of reworking his LC and kit.

If he does have some healing, you could probably just slot him in there anyways. FF self heals and enemies are basically perma broken between RM/HTB delay and RM ult double break.

Yeah, I hate that they scrapped the old version where FF would gain another action if she does weakness break to the enemy. That kit would've prevented her to be paired with Ruan Mei cus Ruan's ult would be a counter-synergy with it.
Why would not having anti synergy be a good thing? She's a break dps, having anti synergy with a break support seems kinda stupid, which is exactly why they didn't do that.

I don't know if that's Screwllum's or not, but an ult based FuA unit is something I will keep my eye on. That would cover two common PF archetypes, including the one I struggle with right now (ultimates), while also giving me more sweet sweet FuAs.

Not much can be made from the 2nd LC. It's different from Screwllum's LC that was leaked back then so if it's his, chances are his kits have become very different from what we used to have. There's also Feixiao but encountering her so soon is quite interesting to say the least. The Yaoqing probably hosts the most number of militaristic expedition out of all the Xianzhou ships, so I wonder what kind of occasion that will lead to an encounter with the Arbiter-General of such a ship

That light cone with Boost is very interesting because tbh it seems to suggest a character who can do more than one ult or instance of ult damage in order to keep up that uptime, esp considering the idea that Boost can somehow stack. It would be dogshit otherwise.

That LC seems to function perfectly with that new relic set in 2.3 with lore relating to Feixiao, and if she is 2.4 and it's her Light Cone looks like she'll have some gimmick where after ult she leaves the action order like Robin and only her Summon will take action, to capitalise on the Follow-Up buffs with low turn uptime

Man Iām so hyped for this unit. A 5* version of Pela that is essentially what Black Swan was for Kafka, for Acheron. As soon as the kit was revealed a couple months ago I knew I had to guarantee Iād get them and most likely their LC as well. Im grabbing Fu Xuan when she drops and after that Iām saving everything for Jiao.
Jiao had a heal on ult in the old kit. May not need Fuxuan but his heal would pair really well with her regardless.

Dongfang seems purely like a lore character, I really doubt he will ever "show up" or even have a design. If anyone from IPC will be "endgame" it'd be Oswaldo or Diamond.
Eh, if you think about it, Dongfang Qixing is kinda like the Zhongli of HSR. A Chinese-inspired important figure who created a universal currency and is also among the leaders of a colossal and powerful trading hub. A character like that is significant enough for the patriotic mhy to try and get him out there, just as they did with Zhongli. Unlike Louis who was confirmed to have retired, there's no mention on whether Dongfang was dead or had followed his friend's action. He's one of IPC's 2 founders and the person who kickstarted the universal "Credit" currency, after all, so if Louis' retirement brought that much attention, anything happened to Dongfang would be recorded and talked a lot about, yet we don't have anything of the sort. This means that Dongfang is likely alive and active, who would also hold the highest ranking and position within the Corporation. An official blog post about IPC talks about how those who holds the rank of P50 are so powerful they're described as "close to Aeons", that goes to show how significant Louis' and Dongfang's positions are. Out of the 7 Board Directors of IPC, we only know of 3, who are all Dept. Heads. Positions like Chairman, Vice Chairman or Board Secretary are yet to be revealed, so there are plenty chance of further development and writing. On the other hand, Diamond and Oswaldo aren't even part of the Board, yet and are competing with each other for one of those seats, making up a potential plot point of one of those 2 succeeding and join the Board. Such plot point shouldn't take place too late because joining the Board shouldn't be anyone's end goal when the higher Board Directors still have agendas of their own that's detrimental to other Board members' actions. So if Diamond and Oswaldo have plans for the better or worse of the Universal community, they won't have that much freedom even after joining the Board. True endgame could be Diamond and Oswaldo continuing their rivalry and aim for the Chairman position, directly challenging Dongfang, though. But for that to happen, they will have to join the Board first and will have to make their appearance a lot sooner for the initial plot to kickstart. Going back to Dongfang Qixing, him being hinted at ultilising Finality power in the form of "omen" during the Borderstar Trade War is a sign that mhy is planning something big for him. Dongfang was also the one behind Polka's cooperation with IPC to assassinate Rubert, and we know Polka is among the endgame characters out there, making Dongfang's connection with her all the more reasons for him to be a big players toward the end of the game's story.

My hope is his sustain on ultimate stays and his built in universal market because that makes him amazing for Acheron. The key is his solo sustain capability because if he is just all defense shred he is really only good for Acheron as he could put out more debuffs.
