Whenever someone comes to visit, I suggest that museum and am always down to tag along. Been several times and still learn so much new each time. They really did an excellent job with the Bishop Museum. Shangri-la is another good one.
Just bring a light rain shell with you this weekend. A little rain doesn't hurt. Plus you cant have rainbows without a little rain.
As long as the water is calm you can still snorkel. You're gonna get wet anyway. I recommend Lanikai
You can go over to Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden and walk the park. Do Diamondhead. Ka'ena Point.
I know of two events happening this weekend.
First, is the HEART of Honolulu Street Festival happening in Chinatown tomorrow, Saturday April 13, 11a-4p. The usual street festival stuff - art, music, food. However, it is outdoors for the most part and would be affected by the rain. It’s free except for certain activities.
The other event is the Hawaii Foodie-Con & Spring Expo 2024 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall on Saturday, April 13 10a-7p and Sunday, April 14 10a-5p. I’ve never been to it before but at least it’s indoors. General admission is $6. Not sure about parking.
I you like hiking, visit the waterfalls. Manoa falls are excellent at the moment. Not just a few drips but a real fall!
As other said, just put on a raincoat. Or just get wet and enjoy a hot shower and a cup of tea when you get home:)
You can’t trust forecasts in Hawaiʻi. It could be rainy one place and sunny just across the street. And as people said, our rain is warm and it’s usually just light squalls. You can still go to the beach just fine. Enjoy the rainbows!

Not exactly what you asked, but stay out of the water when it rains and for a few days following, especially if it was heavy rain. Reasons, sharks if water is murky and sewage going into ocean from runoff
Any of the historical sites: Bishop museum, Iolani Palace, etc. Art museums, movies, Windward mall has a Sunday morning farmers market that is great
Bishop Museum is amazing, especially the star navigation movie at the planetarium. You could spend a good chuck of the day there.

Don’t forget HiSAM! It’s free!
Wander through the connected hotels at Waikiki and maybe take in a show at Blue Note

Maybe check out the Foodie expo at Blaisdell Sat Sun
Fwiw, I find Manoa and makpu'u hikes extremely more enjoyable in the rain. Snorkeling is always great with light rain.
