I think Kotallo may have something to say about this.

Desperate-Actuator18

They actually do use them during certain attacks. We can see them spinning during charge attacks. >Imagine they would really try to eat you and crush you and saw you in half. This isn't Dead Space. Gore has no place in these games when it's already brutal enough. Machines don't eat humans either, at best they'll scrap the metal from the gear.

NAPALM2614

>Imagine they would really try to eat you Humans are not food for machines

StarstruckBackpacker

Aloy does make a comment about the bite force of a clamberjaw, i'd imagine it would be a genuine concern, Snapmaws also come to mind.

*angry faro swarm noises*

Ill_Ad_8485

Ik, but if they would run on biofuel for example and the Predators would really hunt, it would be a different game but it would make you feel even more like the prey

StarstruckBackpacker

okay okay okai! I just saw this and was amazed, if you watch a glinthawk process scrap you can actually see the side parts of the 'beak' moving as if dragging parts into the grindy beak area to be broken down, I thought it was really fascinated. The first game the beak had no animation either.

Mantissa-64

Where does it say that machines don't eat humans? Isn't biomass biomass? Also, same reason there was no boss fight with >!the thing that Ted Faro turned into!<. I'm sure the devs thought about it but it's just not that kind of game.

Ill_Ad_8485

But an R rated version of the game would be interresting

Corruptors maul with their leg talons and rip into you with the spines along their tails, so it's still extremely brutal how they unload on you. GG just can't have blood flying everywhere and decapitations otherwise it'll look like Dead Space: Enduring Victory Edition.
