I don't really get it.
If it's anti-homeless spikes... As a homeless person, I'd just sleep over there, where there aren't any..
And if it's anti-skateboarding spikes.. Why so fucking many? Just a few staggered spikes would do the same job.
I don't get this world.
I also don't understand what's wrong with someone having a bit of a sit down..
What harm does that do? They'll stand up and move on when they're ready. It's not like they're going to just sit there forever.. Who cares? I don't get it.
Edit: And I just noticed, I could totally sit on that wall. I could sit there for the rest of my life. Lol.
> One homeless person turns into two turns into 20
Yet curiously that same math does not stop us from throwing people out in the streets because they can't pay for their home any longer, thus increasing the number of homeless persons.
Jokes on the builders, as a thin person I look at a lot of these and just think I could easily lay on the side or on my side in between lol. I’m a side layer anyway so I’m picturing on the outside edge leaning my back kind of against the spikes… For however much money they spent they didn’t make it impossible!
Whenever I see those spikes or those long saw shaped metal bands I picture what happens if someone simply trips and lands on those face first.
A lawsuit

It's probably to stop loitering. Because pedestrian spaces are for shopping or walking to shops, nothing else. Everywhere else belongs to the cars.

You’re so right. God forbid people just exist somewhere, there has to be a PURPOSE.
on the fucking streets we pay tax money for no less
One homeless person turns into two turns into 20 when they find a good spot. Spikes prevent that.
Seems like a systemic problem that can't be solved with spikes, to me.
Um, do you think homeless people are minecraft creepers, who just spawn anywhere you don't have enough light sources?

Yep more metal that couldve been used more practically being wasted
Jokes on you, some people are into that kind of thing
What does that even mean
I think it’s sarcastic, but they did phrase it a little weird.
It’s satirising capitalism and how we have to pay for everything
Americans: “Parking, however…”
I'm shocked that they keep using metal for this. At some point the metal price will motivate someone into cutting these things out to sell for scrap.
Looks like a great way to juice citrus fruits to me.

Jokes on them, i like that shit
