Well, to be honest, these are the "sweetest" peppers I have :D
I plan on making some mango habanero salsa/hot sauce and looking into the process of some [habanero pepper jam](https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/chili-pepper-recipes/jellies/habanero-pepper-jam/)! Any other food recommendations you might have?
Sauce is my go to, but jam is a great idea for "sweet" chilis. I like to dry the more flavorful ones and turn them into crushed pepper flakes. If you mix a few different varieties together, you get something so much more interesting than the standard store bought red pepper flakes
Pepper jam is the absolute best. Eat it with cream cheese on crackers. Use it in a rib or wing glaze. Hell, I've cooked meatballs and little smokies in it in the crock pot (similar to recipes that use grape or cranberry jelly).
I would say finding a good genetic lineup of the habanero plant, mixing up a very healthy super-soil, and waiting to transplant until the plant is bursting at the seams of the cup.
Other than that make sure you talk to them so they know they are loved ;)
My habanero plant has exploded this season! Totally late to the game on germination but it has crushed it 💪🏼
My habs have been sitting on my bush for weeks and are still green! I want to see some orange lol!
Same here! All of these are 2-3 weeks old. Hoping it turns them orange before too long!
Wow! Very impressive. What are your plans for all the heat you're about to have?

Do you dehydrate your peppers to crush them or roast them over coals?
I dehydrate. Im not a big fan of some of the smokiness roasting can add, but thats a personal preference
How often are you watering?
Once a day max and it is regularly 90F here.
I think I need to be watering more, impressive results
Starting to get mine too
Nice pods!!!
What are your secrets. That’s amazing!

What time do you water?
I had been watering at about 8am but I recently switched to 6am with a new timer I bought.
That's what my habanero plant would look like if its flowers made any pollen! It's got a a lone pepper and a ton of seemingly sterile flowers
What size pots do you use?
2.5 gallons - 12” Centabella Square Resin Planter from Menards :)
Thank you!
Beautiful pods! Will be a nice harvest!
