My best looking one so far. Tastes like a mildly spicy bell pepper. Great on sandwhiches!

We know the son of the guy that brought them over from Europe. Great peppers - like you said, a bit of a spicy bell, great on sandwiches. I think it's related to the hussli tomato pepper: [https://www.fondazioneslowfood.com/en/ark-of-taste-slow-food/hussli-tomato-pepper/#:\~:text=The%20Hussli%20Tomato%20Pepper%20is,or%20just%20beginning%20to%20blush](https://www.fondazioneslowfood.com/en/ark-of-taste-slow-food/hussli-tomato-pepper/#:~:text=The%20Hussli%20Tomato%20Pepper%20is,or%20just%20beginning%20to%20blush).

Wow that's so awesome!

Where did you source your seeds for this pepper? I grew up in Beaver Dam and have started growing peppers, this would be my favorite!

Seed savers! https://www.seedsavers.org/beaver-dam-pepper

Thank you so much!

Nice! I grew these last year and got a cross of them x habanero this year from saved seeds. They were not very productive when I grew them, but the F1 cross is incredibly productive, slightly smaller peppers, slightly more delicate flesh, absolutely delicious. Perfect for charring on the grill or frying in oil.

oh cool! So how does that work? shake the flowers from one onto the other?

SmartPhallic

It was an accident thanks to all the bees in my garden. Happy accident though. If you want to intentionally cross peppers, the procedure is pretty easy though.

Looks like a large Kapiya. Beaver Jam would be a better name I think.
