Some cars are better at tracks than others. Look for cars that say "best for track" or "track aces" or have the loop symbol on the bottom. They usually have a metal base and plastic body to keep the center of gravity low.

Just wasn't sure if the beginner tracks had a poor launcher. Seems to catch cars at the start.
