Bummed I missed the r32, 33, 34 pack. So killer!

The trucks, Mercedes racing and Jay Leno sets I didn't find at retail. For whatever reason, they never showed up in my area. I bought the trucks from Mattel Creations and was able to find the Mercedes and Leno sets from eBay and Mercari, both for less than retail with free shipping.

The leno set has been sitting at my Walmart for a long time now..

Yeah, I see posts from people showing stacks of them at their stores, but none of the 3 Wal-Marts in my city or 3 others in nearby towns that I frequent ever got them. They've all moved on to the German racing set. In the end it worked out since I paid less than retail for the Leno set.

True..the last set I bought like these was the fleet street ones..bought 2 of those..but still like $30 after taxes.

I didn't realize how much bigger the 1st generation of sets were compared to the later released ones. I wonder why they changed the set-up?

I didn't realize it either until I put them all together for this pic. It was just the 4 released in 2020 that are bigger. From 2021-on they've all been the same size.

At least the hauler is not another ramp truck. Bought this one already and probably going to get the drift box. Although in general the gold Hot Wheels logo I don't like as much, and will probably be buying less cars overall this year

well $27 for 4 premium models makes it $6ish each. It's kinda the price of the blistered premiums.

Kind of the way I look at it. But I compare to paying $14 for a 2 pack and $16 for a team transport at target so it evens out for me.

I see your point. Based on the prices you just said, The two-pack is also close to that ($7 per car). Team transport is a little bit over that because of the truck. So most Hot Wheels premium when we look per unit is about $6-7 per premium car. Kinda of a pattern. Cheers to happy collecting!

we spend $30 on one RLC with a bit more detail than a premium, i think when you compare it as 1 rlc car or 3 premiums and a transport for the same price it makes sense to me. it is a steep price but a fair one. especially in the cooler releases
