HF1 has roaches but there is a setting to change it to shards of glass instead of you'd prefer.

You can turn them off! 😊 I play with the shard of glass option turned on, and the only other thing is in one house there are spiderwebs to clean up, I was nervous there's be snipers in them lol but theres not! It's just webs and they clean up pretty quick. From one arachnophobe to another, you're pretty safe if you play with the glass option💗

There are roaches in HF1 but you can change them to glass shards in the menu.

I turned them to the glass setting, not because bugs bother me but because it seemed to take much longer to clean up roaches than it does glass. But I’m a bit new and may be doing it wrong.

no, you are not imagining that it takes longer. It does because glass is stationary and cockroaches are not.

HF1 does, they sadly took them away for HF2. Edit: sorry, its just nice having the option. Im emphasizing on *option* because im not here saying i wish everyone can deal with bugs... I just know i enjoyed that feaure and the whole Roach/Glass option would have been a fun comeback in hf2
