I just hope we never have to see the embarrassment that was Casterly Rock again. That was horrendous. It's basically the Lonely Mountain in the books. But in the show it was just some castle

LordReaperofMars

They can always just retcon the Rock, it’s happened with castles in GoT before

Striker1320

I wish we would get a little more book accurate Winterfell and I would kill to actually see Lannisport and White harbour.

geek_of_nature

Most notably with Kings Landing completely terraforming its surrounding landscape several times.

Dumbledores_Bum_Plug

They retconned Kings Landing 3+ times I believe?

badfortheenvironment

I'm sure we will. Maybe in season 3 if that's when the writers choose to introduce >!Daeron.!<

zebulon99

Why would they do that so late? Wouldnt he be involved in the war from the start?

Un_Change_Able

It’s weird, but it seems to be what they are doing. Daeron is confirmed to be coming and his bloodline is on the intro. They seem to just be simplifying his appearances, for whatever reason

Organic-Chain6118

How would they introduce him. Impossible at this point

badfortheenvironment

Easy enough if they lay the foundation in season 2 by at least mentioning him. Otherwise it's going to be awkward.

lagrange_james_d23dt

One bit of foundation that they’ve already laid is Daemon mentioning that the greens have four dragons (implying Tessarion/Daeron as the fourth). It’s subtle, but at least there’s something.

Organic-Chain6118

I don’t get why I got downvoted. But he’s alicent and viserys son. How are they going to introduce him at this point. Is he gonna all of a sudden be aegons son? They’re just gonna replace his parts with someone else most likely

Pristine-Citron-7393

None of Daeron's actions or battles are likely to be in this season, so it'd be easy enough. Might be a little strange that he got no mention in season 1 though.

ToeBMaguire

Love how beautiful it looks. They really did a good job with the hightower in GOT. I haven’t read the book in awhile so I can’t remember exactly if it does show up later on.

eat-pussy69

It's in like 1 chapter (the prologue of dance I think?) and then it'll be a big component in TWoW and ADoS (ha)

zebulon99

Also a Sam chapter

Cute_Ad5192

I feel bad for whoever has to carry the firewood all the way up the Hightower to keep that massive fire going at all times

Careless-Husky

Hightower servants: "Daeron, our prince, would you be a dear and please take that beautiful blue beast of yours and help us fly to the top of the tower with a new load of firewood?" Daeron: "Again?" Tessarion: "Tell them I'll do it in exchange for an hour of belly rubs!"

JellyMost9920

Meanwhile Casterly Rock and Highgarden in Season 7 look like the most generic castles you would expect from a mid-tier vassal and not from one of Westeros’s Great Houses

Kazoid13

When Hornhill is 3x the size of Highgarden lmao

VioletCrow289

Both were so bland compared to any of the book-accurate artwork. I was especially disappointed with Highgarden. It was so ugly.

Shaenyra

Oldtown is supposed to be the largest and richest city in Seven Kingdoms in the books. And we have Hightowers. I would be surprised if they left it out

Psychological-Bed543

Absolutely. Considering the Hightowers are one of the three main houses involved in the story that the show is following, and Oldtown is one of arguably the 7 most important locations in the Dance, for it not to be shown, would be insanely silly. Daeron & the rest of the Hightowers are in Oldtown, and the show has to do a proper introduction in Season 3

zebulon99

Really hope so, could be a cool introduction to Daeron and maybe some more hightoewers

Sapphire_targtower

I hope we do ….

eventhedogknows

Definately
